Sri Lankan bowler Nuwan Pradeep has been ruled out of the Test series against India due to a hamstring injury.
While bowling during the 2nd Test, he left the field during his over and did not come back.
Sri Lanka cricket manager Asanka Gurusinha confirmed that it was a grade-one hamstring tear.
Pradeep is set to miss at least 2 weeks due to the injury.
This is the second injury blow to strike Sri Lanka after Asela Gunaratne was ruled out of the entire India series due to a broken thumb.
