18.3 - A Russell to Riaz, FOUR, drifting down leg, Riaz backs away and tickles it past the diving keeper to the fine leg fence. Crucial runs this for Peshawar. So, Russell can't snaffle a hat-trick then

16.2 - Watson to Tamim, FOUR, back-to-back boundaries for Tamim! He makes room and flogs a very full delivery that is bowled just outside off to the extra cover boundary. Nice placement and timing from the batsman

16.1 - Watson to Tamim, FOUR, finally, Tamim cracks a boundary. Very full and just outside off, Tamim slaps it to sweeper cover. No need to run for those

14.2 - A Russell to Afridi, FOUR, Boom Boom gets off the mark with a boundary! He again shuffles across the sticks and buries a length delivery to the deep mid-wicket boundary. It did not come off the screws, but had enough legs on it to rocket to the fence

8.0 - Ajmal to S Yousuf, FOUR, Yousuf sinks on one knee and slog-sweeps this flatter delivery that was bowled down the leg-side to the fine leg fence. It crashes into the ad-cushions

7.4 - Ajmal to K Akmal, FOUR, dragged down delivery from Ajmal, Akmal takes a heavy toll of it by cracking the cut shot to the sweeper cover fence. It came right off the screws

2.1 - Ajmal to Malan, FOUR, streaky four runs for Malan. The quicker one from Ajmal, Malan looks to crack the cut shot, ekes out an outside edge past the diving slip fielder (Shane Watson) for a boundary

1.3 - Watson to Hafeez, FOUR, speared down the leg-side, Hafeez rolls his wrists on it and whips it all along the carpet to the deep mid-wicket fence

0.3 - A Russell to Hafeez, FOUR, with his leading elbow high and nice up, Hafeez cracks the drive through the extra cover region to a good length delivery and it scurries to the boundary boards in a jiffy

19.2 - Zaidi to Sammy, SIX, dragged down delivery from Zaidi, Sammy rocks back quickly and pulls it high and handsome over the deep mid-wicket fence. It cleared the boundary ropes quite easily there

16.4 - Watson to Afridi, SIX, BOOM BOOM is warming up. Low full toss from Watson, Afridi takes a heavy toll of it by lofting it handsomely over the bowler's head for a maximum

10.5 - Zaidi to Tamim, SIX, flatter delivery and on the stumps, Tamim again ventures out of the crease, but does not get close to the pitch of the ball. He still goes with his slog and clears the long-off fence

19.4 - Zaidi to Sammy, out Sammy Run Out!! 1 run completed. Another scalp for Islamabad. Yorker length and on the stumps, Sammy bunts it down to long-off, who fires in the throw at the striker's end, but misses with the direct-hit. Sammy looks to pinch another run, but he is sent back by his partner, Raiz. Ajmal at backward square leg then fires in the throw at the batsman's end and Sammy finds himself short of the crease. Sammy run out (Ajmal) 10(4) [6s-1]

18.2 - A Russell to Tamim, out Caught by Watson!! Can Russell too pick up a hat-trick? We have already seen Amir pick up one today. The slower delivery from Russell, Tamim backed away and whipped it to Watson at backward square leg, who took a relatively easy catch with both hands. Tamim c Watson b A Russell 51(51) [4s-3 6s-1]

18.1 - A Russell to Afridi, out Caught&Bowled!! Russell has made the crucial breakthrough by chugging down Afridi. Very full and on the stumps, Afridi backed away and attempted to heave it across the line. He though, got it off the toe-end of the bat. Russell calls for the catch, sets under it and judges it to perfection to pouch it with both hands. It was swirling in the air for a while there. Afridi c and b A Russell 16(12) [4s-1 6s-1]

14.1 - A Russell to S Yousuf, out Bowled!! In frustration, Yousuf makes room and tries to club a delivery that is bowled full and straight, but can't connect. His middle-stump takes a beating. Excellent stuff from Russell. Russell might have generated a wee bit of reverse swing there. S Yousuf b A Russell 16(16) [4s-1]

7.5 - Ajmal to K Akmal, out Lbw!! The wily off-spinner, Ajmal has struck. From round the wicket, Ajmal pushed it through, Akmal shuffled across his sticks and tried to use the slog-sweep, but missed it completely. On expected lines, Ajmal belted out an appeal for LBW and the umpire raised his finger to answer it in the affirmative. On replays, it was hitting the off-stump. K Akmal lbw b Ajmal 8(8) [4s-1]

5.2 - Rumman Raees to Malan, out Caught by Watson!! Another one bites the dust. Slightly shorter in length, Malan brings out the pull shot. However, the ball hits him high up on the bat. Watson at mid-wicket dives to his right to grab a fine catch. Peshawar are in a spot of bother here. Malan c Watson b Rumman Raees 6(14) [4s-1]

1.5 - Watson to Hafeez, out Caught by S Billings!! Now, Billings has taken a blinder. It might turn out to be one of the catches of the tournament. Good length delivery and in that threatening zone outside off, Hafeez plays a half-hearted cut shot. The keeper takes a step or two to his right, then puts in a full length dive to his right, and snaffles it with his right-hand. Hafeez c S Billings b Watson 11(9) [4s-2]

18.0 - Rumman Raees to Tamim, 2 runs, Tamim drills this slower delivery to long-on and scampers across for a brace. In fact, the fielder in the deep did well to swoop down on the ball quickly. Tamim also reaches his fifty

19.3 - Riaz to Ajmal, FOUR, short delivery from Riaz, Ajmal connects with his pull and collects a boundary to deep square leg. That powerful blow has come a little too late

16.0 - Junaid Khan to S Billings, FOUR, deft touch from Billings! He shuffled across the sticks and then paddled a slower one over the short fine leg fielder for a boundary. Oh boy! Islamabad needed that boundary

9.1 - Afridi to Misbah, FOUR, Misbah premeditates and brings out the reverse paddle to a leg-spinner. It has enough legs to race away to the third man fence

8.1 - Riaz to Watson, FOUR, shortish delivery and just outside off, Watson rocks back quickly and pulls it to the mid-wicket fence to beat the fielder in the deep with ease. He used the pace of the bowler well there

5.5 - Asghar to Misbah, FOUR, drifting down leg, Misbah bends on one knee and slog-sweeps it to the fine leg fence for a boundary. He bisected the gap with perfection

2.0 - Junaid Khan to Watson, FOUR, Junaid Khan drifts it down leg, Watson whips it to the fine leg fence. Tait in the deep had no chance there of stopping the boundary

1.5 - Junaid Khan to Watson, FOUR, very full and just outside off, Watson slaps it straight down the ground. It just raced away to the boundary boards

1.2 - Junaid Khan to Watson, FOUR, a touch of width on offer, Watson square drives it all along the ground to the backward point fence. Watson is very good at playing strokes square on the off-side

0.4 - Tait to Sharjeel Khan, FOUR, Tait goes for the throat seeking bouncer, but does not get it high enough, Sharjeel pulls it with his one leg in the air. It rockets to the mid-wicket fence in a hurry

0.3 - Tait to Sharjeel Khan, FOUR, shortish delivery and just outside off, Sharjeel pulls it to long-on for a boundary. Nice start for Sharjeel. It came right off the screws there

15.1 - Junaid Khan to S Billings, SIX, now, that was one marvellous shot by Billings! Billings shuffled across and slog-swept a full toss over square leg. It just about cleared the fielder in the deep. Billings played that shot with a dash of bravado

12.4 - Tait to A Russell, SIX, until Russell is there at the crease, Islamabad still have a glimmer of a hope! Short and wide ball, Russell makes room and cuts it over the deep backward point fence for a maximum. Now that was one mighty blow from the Jamaican

18.2 - Junaid Khan to Ajmal, out Imran Khalid Run Out!! Peshawar are just one wicket away from wrapping it up. Another slower one from Junaid Khan, Ajmal missed out with his slog. However, the duo looked to pinch in a bye. Akmal calmly under-armed the throw onto the stumps and Khaild found himself well short of the crease. Imran Khalid run out (K Akmal) 4(6)

16.3 - Riaz to S Billings, out Caught by Asghar!! Asghar is on a roll. He takes another ripper of a catch. He moved forward, but he seemed to have overrun the ball. However, Asghar composed himself and then dived to his right to grab the catch over his shoulder. The ball was dipping on him there. It was a short ball, Billings tried to cut, but got it high up on the bat and Asghar took a brilliant catch. The TV umpire also checked for the no-ball, but Riaz was fine there. S Billings c Asghar b Riaz 26(20) [4s-1 6s-1]

16.2 - Riaz to A Russell, out Caught by Asghar!! You little beauty! Asghar has pulled off a screamer of a catch to send the dangerous Russell on a walk back to the hut with a forlorn look on his face. Short and wide delivery, Russell flays the cut. He middled it with perfection. However, Asghar at deep backward point, moved forward and put in the dive to pouch it. Either side of Asghar that would have been a boundary. Small margins you can say. A Russell c Asghar b Riaz 12(12) [6s-1]

12.3 - Tait to Zaidi, out Caught by K Akmal!! Tait's extra pace does the trick. Fuller length delivery that shapes away from the left-hander, Zaidi with his feet stationed in clay, tried to slash it through the off-side. He could only get an outside edge to Akmal, who hardly had to move to clasp it with both hands. Zaidi c K Akmal b Tait 2(7)

10.5 - Asghar to Misbah, out Caught by Malan!! Peshawar are tightening the screws now. They have snared the crucial scalp of Misbah. Misbah manufactured room to a tossed up delivery, but it turned away from him. In the end, he could only carve it to Malan at long-off, who calmly took the catch. Islamabad need someone to stand up and deliver. Misbah c Malan b Asghar 12(12) [4s-2]

8.5 - Riaz to Watson, out Caught by Hafeez!! Watson would be a disappointed man. Riaz bowls it short and wide, Watson cracked the cut shot, but did not roll his wrists on it to keep the stroke down. It flies to Hafeez at backward point, who reverse cupped and took the catch at chest height. Islamabad continue to slip further. They are in a danger of losing successive matches. Watson c Hafeez b Riaz 28(31) [4s-4]

5.4 - Asghar to U Amin, out Caught by Junaid Khan!! Now, Amin has to take the long walk back to the hut. Amin charged down the track to a tossed up delivery and looked to play the lofted shot, but could only get it off the toe-end of the bat to Junaid at mid-off, who grabbed it with both hands. U Amin c Junaid Khan b Asghar 4(6)

3.3 - Asghar to Babar Azam, out Caught by Hafeez!! Islamabad are in a spot of bother now. Azam skipped out of the crease to a delivery that was bowled slower through the air. However, he got it off the toe-end to long-off, where Hafeez snaffled it with ease. Azam did not get the elevation on that shot. Babar Azam c Hafeez b Asghar 0(8)

0.5 - Tait to Sharjeel Khan, out Bowled!! Sharjeel looks to play one shot too many and pays the price by losing his wicket. Very full and zeroing in on the stumps, Sharjeel aims to bury it across the line and misses it completely. His stumps took a beating. Sharjeel had no clue there. Sharjeel Khan b Tait 8(3) [4s-2]
