Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

18.2 - Broad to Lyon, FOUR, full outside off, Lyon throws his bat on the drive and then watches the thick edge fly over the slip cordon. Good that he went hard for it ensured that the edge didn't carry

15.3 - Finn to Lyon, FOUR, pitched up on off stump, Lyon gets forward and lofts it back over the bowler's head. It is a tease for Broad from mid-off and he can't get there. Nice looking shot from Lyon there as he held the pose after playing that. The key was he was looking to play straight

11.5 - Finn to Johnson, FOUR, streaky but four. On a back of a length and outside off, Johnson punches and gets it through the vacant gully and backward point area. Was in the air but went in the gap. Finn has his hands on his head

11.2 - Finn to Johnson, FOUR, hard push but wide of the diving fifth slip. Full and Johnson played it down, getting it wide of the left-hand of the slip fielder. There is no third man and a boundary for Johnson and Australia - which will be much appreciated

5.2 - Mark Wood to Clarke, FOUR, nice shot. This short delivery was rising around chest-height and Clarke swivelled on the pull and got it over square leg which is vacant. More of the splice of the bat but that will do

2.5 - Broad to Voges, leg byes, FOUR, that was close as well. Not far from the stumps and also looked like a decent shout for lbw, Broad knows Voges from his days together at Notts, the Aussie has a tendency to shuffle across his stumps early on and Broad wanted to work on that. Bowled it full and on the pads, Voges shuffled across and missed the clip to leg, ran off the pads and past the diving Buttler. Broad was interested for an lbw appeal but didn't get support from the others

1.4 - Mark Wood to Clarke, FOUR, so nearly another one. Full outside off, Clarke's feet doesn't move and the drive produces a thick inside edge goes periliously close and wide of the stumps. Buttler was wrong-footed and didn't have a chance

0.5 - Broad to Smith, FOUR, nice stroke by Smith. Saw the full one outside off and leant forward to play a square drive, opened the face on the shot to get it wide of point and it raced away to the fence. That should be a confidence-booster for him

0.2 - Broad to Chris Rogers, leg byes, FOUR, sliding down leg, with the angle from round the wicket taking it further down, it tickles the thigh pad and races away, just needed a touch and Chris Rogers missed the flick

18.3 - Broad to Lyon, out Caught by Stokes!! Australia rolled over for 60! Anderson claps with a smile on his face. Broad finishes with 8/15. On his home ground. He is walking off with ball in hand, waving it to all parts of TB. Andrew Strauss suited and booted is there as well. Another back of a length delivery outside off, Lyon pushes with hard hands (do I need to say it again?) and the edge carries to Stokes at 6th slip. Easy grab and that is all over for the Aussies in the first innings. Broad leads the side off the field. Lyon c Stokes b Broad 9(20) [4s-2]

13.0 - Broad to Johnson, out Caught by Root!! Another. Nine down. Johnson does the same thing as Starc, back of a length outside off, seamed away, Johnson followed it and it hit the bat splice before safely landing in Root's hands at third slip. He is all smiles and does a double thumbs up to his mates. Broad too sports a big grin on his face. Johnson tried to defend that but the movement and the bounce took the edge. Johnson c Root b Broad 13(25) [4s-2]

12.4 - Broad to Starc, out Caught by Root!! Very poor from Starc too. These Aussies aren't learning at all. Going with hard hands at deliveries that should be left alone. Full outside off, Starc pushes well away from the body and gets a thick edge on the drive, carries to Root at third slip around stomach height. They check for the no-ball but Broad is fine. Starc c Root b Broad 1(8)

9.2 - Finn to Nevill, out Bowled!! Seven down now. The sorry tale of the Aussie innings continues. Nevill is half-forward, unsure of his footwork, wanted to come forward but didn't, left a tiny bat-pad gap for the ball to sneak through. Full on off stump, came in slightly to peg the off stump back. Sensational beginning to the game. Nevill b Finn 2(15)

6.1 - Broad to Clarke, out Caught by Cook!! Poor from Clarke and Broad gets five. Will confirm whether this is the joint quickest fifer in Tests. Full and well wide of off, Clarke went for a big drive and got an edge, good catch by Cook as he leapt and took it with both hands. The ball was travelling and he clasped it above his head, keeping his eyes on the ball till the last moment. Must say dreadful batting from Clarke though. Clarke c Cook b Broad 10(15) [4s-2]

4.1 - Broad to Voges, out Caught by Stokes!! Unbelievable from Stokes. Brilliant cricket from Broad and England. Pitched up outside off, late away movement draws a loose drive from Voges, the thick outside edge was going fast and behind fifth slip but Stokes went full-length to his right and stuck out his right mitt, it stuck and then begin the celebrations. The England players all surround Stokes. Now Broad and Finn want to catch a replay on the big screen. This is special, special cricket from England. Voges c Stokes b Broad 1(4)

2.4 - Broad to S Marsh, out Caught by Bell!! Broad is on fire and the Ashes seem to be quickly slipping away from Australia's grasp. Full outside off, Marsh went with hard hands at that and the edge carried to Bell at 2nd slip, he pouched it above his head with two hands. All of a sudden the two out-of-form batsmen - Voges and Clarke are in the middle. S Marsh c Bell b Broad 0(4)

1.2 - Mark Wood to Warner, out Caught by Buttler!! Now Mark Wood strikes. This is insane cricket. It is 10/3 and Australia are in dire straits. This delivery nipped back in sharply off the seam and took the inside edge of Warner as he tried to defend off the back foot. Pace did Warner there, he was late in getting his bat down to defend and that caused the inside snick. Warner too goes for a duck. Even England wouldn't have dreamt of such a start. Warner c Buttler b Mark Wood 0(2)

1.0 - Broad to Smith, out Caught by Root!! Broad strikes again. Two wickets in the opening over. That is some start. Broad squares Smith up and the outside edge carried to Root at third slip. Smith played at a ball that was well outside off, he shuffled across to defend and that's why he played at a ball that he shouldn't have. It was on a back of a length and the slight seam movement opened Smith up. Root does a double fist pump after taking the catch. Dream beginning for England. Smith c Root b Broad 6(3) [4s-1]

0.3 - Broad to Chris Rogers, out Caught by Cook!! What a way to get your 300th Test wicket. Chris Rogers gets his first duck in Tests. Two moments that the statisticians will salivate on. Superb delivery, angled in on a fuller length and then slightly seamed away, pitched around off, opened up Chris Rogers and the outside edge was safely held by Cook at first slip. Good low catch too. The crowd appreciate Broad's achievement. Chris Rogers c Cook b Broad 0(3)

83.1 - Johnson to Moeen Ali, FOUR, more width and England continue to throw their bats around. Full and wide outside off, Moeen Ali went hard on the lofted drive, a thick outside edge runs away over the gully region, the crowd get into their act once more

82.4 - Starc to Moeen Ali, FOUR, a miscue but over short cover-point. Starc shakes his head. It was full and Moeen Ali wanted to go over cover, the bat face turned on impact and that meant it skewed off the thick outer half, raced away beating the chasing fielder, the 50-run stand is up in no time

81.4 - Hazlewood to Broad, FOUR, Broad uses the long handle to good effect. Cleared his front leg and then went over mid-off, it was full and that allowed Broad to play the lofted stroke

81.2 - Hazlewood to Moeen Ali, FOUR, another punchy drive, wide of mid-on, Moeen Ali driving on the rise, with a closed face and getting enough bat on it to beat the fielder. Consecutive fours for Moeen Ali

81.1 - Hazlewood to Moeen Ali, FOUR, beautiful drive straight down the ground, Hazlewood gets it to shape back in from a fuller length on the stumps, Moeen Ali shows the full face of the bat and then punches it past the bowler, missed the stumps at the other end and raced away

80.3 - Starc to Broad, FOUR, shot. Fantastic shot. Broad drives it on the rise after getting forward, Starc went full and Broad leant on the shot. Wide of cover

78.5 - Starc to Moeen Ali, FOUR, now Moeen Ali gets four over square leg. Starc went full and on the pads, it didn't swing in that much and Moeen Ali used the angle to put it away, beating the fielder at long leg with ease

78.4 - Starc to Moeen Ali, FOUR, superb cover drive on a bent knee. It was overpitched outside off, Starc looking for swing and overcompensating, Moeen Ali bent his back knee and then crunched it through cover. Raced away

75.2 - Hazlewood to Stokes, FOUR, good delivery and it is four. Stokes gets forward to defend to a length delivery that is angled across, the ball takes the thickish outside edge and evades a diving Shaun Marsh at gully, beats Lyon's chase as well

75.0 - Starc to Moeen Ali, FOUR, Moeen Ali is off the mark with a nice little clip off the legs, full and swinging in, Moeen Ali flicks wide of mid-wicket and the ball races away

74.3 - Starc to Moeen Ali, byes, FOUR, Starc goes for an inswinger first ball to Moeen Ali, it slips down leg, beating Nevill's dive to his right, perhaps Starc wanted to go for the inswinging yorker first ball to Moeen Ali and missed it. Nevill tried his best but the ball beat him

73.5 - Hazlewood to Buttler, FOUR, another driven boundary. This time the bottom hand takes over, a closed bat face and the ball runs away beating Johnson's chase from mid-on. Hazlewood went full again and paid the penalty. Buttler has started off well

73.4 - Hazlewood to Buttler, FOUR, Buttler gets his second boundary with a drive wide of the catching short cover, opened the bat face and got it wide of the man close-in. It wasn't in the air for long too

72.5 - Starc to Buttler, FOUR, very full once more and Buttler drives that on the rise, past Stokes and the ball races away to the fence beating Warner's chase from mid-off. Nice way to get off the mark

71.2 - Johnson to Mark Wood, FOUR, nothing edgy about that. The crowd love it. When it is pitched up like that, Mark Wood looks good playing those lofted drives, hit on the rise and held the pose, sweet timing as he plays the drive and gets four. Johnson has a wry smile on his face

71.1 - Johnson to Mark Wood, FOUR, edged and over the flying Steven Smith at second slip. Didn't even get a fingertip on it. He went airborne full-length to his right to snaffle a miracle catch but the ball was travelling and despite his best efforts it wasn't good enough. Full outside off, Mark Wood edged the drive and got lucky

69.4 - Johnson to Mark Wood, FOUR, crunching shot! Lots of bottom hand in that. Very full outside off, Mark Wood timed it from the crease and got the ball away square of the wicket on the off-side. HotSpot shows that it came right off the middle of the bat

67.2 - Johnson to Mark Wood, FOUR, now when Johnson pitches it up, Mark Wood gets forward and lofts it over mid-off. Beautifully played as he showed the full face of the bat and then held the pose after playing the stroke, it was in the air but well over the fielder's head

67.1 - Johnson to Mark Wood, FOUR, into the gap at backward point. Angled across Mark Wood, a bit shortish, Mark Wood went back and guided it wide of the fielder at gully and beat backward point too. Bisected the gap nicely

59.3 - Hazlewood to Bairstow, byes, FOUR, short delivery from Hazlewood, Bairstow gets under it easily and it goes over the keeper's head for four byes. Poor delivery that

59.1 - Hazlewood to Bairstow, FOUR, fuller and outside off, Bairstow leans forward and drives it through deep extra cover. The face of the bat went towards the off-side and that helped him. He is also playing late

58.5 - Lyon to Root, FOUR, Root certainly plays late while facing up to a spinner. He stays back in the crease and late cuts this tossed up delivery that was bowled outside to third man for a boundary. Superb wrist-work on show there

57.3 - Hazlewood to Root, FOUR, short delivery from Hazlewood, Root pulls it through mid-wicket for yet another boundary. It wasn't that short, but Root got into the position quickly there

57.1 - Hazlewood to Bairstow, FOUR, Hazlewood overpitches it, Bairstow just eases into the drive and finds the gap through deep extra cover for a boundary. He rarely starts his new spell well

54.2 - Warner to Root, FOUR, Root has got to his 8th Test century. He punches his fist as does Cook. It has been a splendid innings from Root. He has twinned caution with aggression. Coming back to the ball, there was width on offer, he climbs onto it and cuts it through square of the wicket on the off-side for a boundary. He shakes hands with his partner at the other end

52.1 - Warner to Bairstow, FOUR, the part-timer can always prove to be a handful. Warner almost takes a wicket with the first ball he bowls, it was a gentle outswinger, Bairstow has a flirt at it, gets an outside edge that goes right in the gap between second slip and gully

50.5 - Starc to Bairstow, FOUR, Bairstow gets to his fifth fifty. It has been an enterprising innings from him. He has certainly worked on his technique since he made those 7 hundreds over the 2011 and 2012 county seasons. This one was drifting down leg, Bairstow tries to flick it, gets a tickle past the diving keeper for a boundary

48.2 - Starc to Bairstow, FOUR, the Aussie pacers are leaking plenty of runs. This one swings into Bairstow a bit, but it is too straight, Bairstow just flicks it through deep mid-wicket for another four

48.1 - Starc to Bairstow, FOUR, length delivery that goes across Bairstow, he comes forward and drives it on the up through cover for a boundary. He nailed that one to perfection

47.5 - Johnson to Root, FOUR, another four and that was sweetly timed. This shot reminded one of Bell as he stayed back in the crease and essayed the late cut and the ball raced away towards third man for a boundary

47.4 - Johnson to Root, FOUR, width on offer from Johnson, Root cuts it past the fielder at gully for a boundary. He played it late there and that was the key point to notice

46.2 - Starc to Bairstow, FOUR, Bairstow got into a real tangle there. Starc bangs it short and outside off, Bairstow didn't exactly know what to do there of whether to pull it or cut it. In the end, he plays a nothing shot and gets an outside edge that goes over the slip cordon for a four

45.4 - Hazlewood to Bairstow, FOUR, Bairstow follows up Root with a lovely crunching drive straight down the ground for a four. He has certainly worked on his bottom hand

45.2 - Hazlewood to Root, FOUR, fuller and slightly outside off, Root presses forward and finds the gap through deep extra cover with needlepoint precision. Lovely timing there from Root

42.1 - Lyon to Root, FOUR, Root comes down the track and takes it on the full as he wrists the flick through mid-wicket, placed it to perfection

41.1 - Hazlewood to Bairstow, FOUR, edged and safe, that went right in the gap between the slip cordon and the gully fielder, full and just outside off, Bairstow went through with the drive, outside edge is safe and he earns yet another lucky boundary to his scorecard

40.4 - Lyon to Bairstow, FOUR, too full and on the stumps, Bairstow sweeps it fine and once he middled it, that raced away

36.4 - Johnson to Root, FOUR, errs in line after pitching it short, Root had all the time in the world to swivel across and help it on its way towards the fine leg fence

35.4 - Hazlewood to Root, FOUR, that's one more prime example of playing the ball late, short and wide. Root waits on it and cuts it late between backward point and gully, pierced the gap to perfection

34.5 - Johnson to Bairstow, byes, FOUR, short and it went on the bounce and over the ropes. Nevill leapt high as much as he could but couldn't even get anywhere near to it. That was way too short from Johnson

34.2 - Johnson to Bairstow, FOUR, full and just outside off, Bairstow drives with laden feet, inside edge flies past the stumps and into the fine leg fence. Lucky but Bairstow doesn't mind that

34.1 - Johnson to Bairstow, FOUR, short and on outside off, Bairstow stays still and attempts a short-arm-jab through mid-wicket, timed it well and it raced away

33.4 - Starc to Root, FOUR, Trent Bridge and the dressing room stand up and applaud Root's 14th Test match fifty, nice knock from the Yorkie. Full and in the slot, driven away nicely through cover

32.0 - Starc to Root, FOUR, Rooooot music keeps going among the crowd and his dream-run in the Ashes continues. Short and wide from Starc, Root laid back and cut that behind backward point, middled it and raced away

29.4 - Starc to Root, FOUR, fraction short and just outside off, Root pounces on it as he plays a classy back foot punch through cover

29.2 - Starc to Root, FOUR, don't bowl there to Root, he will keep ticking you all day. Too straight from Starc, Root flicks it through square leg, no need to run for those

23.5 - Lyon to Cook, FOUR, first short ball from Lyon and was nicely put away by Cook, leant back and caressed the cut wide of backward point

20.2 - Hazlewood to Root, FOUR, poor cricket from Johnson in the deep, he went leg-first as he slid in the deep to stop the ball but fumbled. Short of a length delivery on the leg stump, Root flicks off the back foot and sends it to the deep mid-wicket boundary

20.1 - Hazlewood to Root, FOUR, wow! Lovely shot from Root and the crowd goes "Rooooottttt." Full and swinging away outside off stump, a lot of width on offer on that occasion and Root didn't miss out. Leans nicely forward and plays a cover-drive all along the ground

20.0 - Starc to Cook, FOUR, cut away and past the fielder as well. Short and wide outside off stump, easy pickings for Cook and the England captain sends it to the right of backward point, who had no chance

19.2 - Starc to Cook, FOUR, edgedddd and between second and third slip. In fact, Smith got a hand on it. Australia will have to take these. On a length and swinging away outside off stump, Cook hops and looks to defend, the away-movement takes a thick outside edge, the ball was going to the left of Clark at second slip, but Smith dived across to his right from third slip but fingertipped it for four

18.5 - Johnson to Root, FOUR, the pull shot from Root and it beats Starc's full length dive at deep backward square leg. The bumper from Johnson, Root gets on top of the bounce, swivels and hits it along the ground

18.3 - Johnson to Root, FOUR, friendly ball and Root helps it on its way, England have taken the lead now. Nice inswing on this length ball but Johnson started it very straight and it went down the leg-side, Root glanced it fine to the fine leg boundary

18.0 - Starc to Root, FOUR, a delightful on-drive from Root. Fullish and on the leg stump, Root presents the full face of the bat and nails the drive through mid-on

16.2 - Johnson to Root, FOUR, nice way to get going. Short and outside off, Root rocks back and cuts it behind square on the off-side, no one at third man and Root is off and running

15.1 - Starc to Cook, FOUR, edged and four! On a length and moves away ever so slightly, Cook is caught in the crease as he looks to defend off the back foot, the outside edge splits third slip and gully to perfection

6.2 - Johnson to Cook, FOUR, Johnson searching for some swing, overpitches on middle and leg, Cook presses forward and flicks it square of the wicket, the pace of Johnson took care of the rest as the ball sped away to the fence

5.0 - Johnson to Cook, FOUR, cracking shot! Bad delivery from Johnson, short and width on offer, Cook latched onto it, stays on the back foot and cuts it to the right of Lyon at backward point, no one bothered to chase that

3.0 - Starc to Lyth, FOUR, that is the cherry on top of a big cake! As emphatic a session as you'll ever see. The perfect session one could hope for ever. Wide floaty half-volley outside off, Lyth tucks into it as he gets forward and creams the drive through cover. The ball sped to the fence in a flash. Off go the players as Clarke's expression under those dark glasses doesn't change much at all

1.1 - Hazlewood to Cook, FOUR, floaty swinging delivery on middle and leg, Cook has it easy as he shuffles across and clips it through mid-wicket. That was the start that Cook needed, a gentle delivery in his favorite region to get off the mark

0.2 - Starc to Lyth, FOUR, beautiful way to get off the mark. Tad too full from Starc and Lyth leans on the front foot to play a gorgeous cover drive wide of mid-off. The feet moved nicely and Lyth put it away. Confidence-boosting way to get your first runs

81.5 - Hazlewood to Broad, SIX, Hazlewood continues to be poor. And expensive. Short outside off, with no real pace, Broad fetched it from there and pulled it to the deep square leg fence, got a good connection and middled it well. 20 off the over and a delivery still left

80.0 - Lyon to Moeen Ali, SIX, Moeen Ali takes on Lyon and gets six. It was tossed up on the stumps, Moeen Ali gives the bowler the charge and lofts him straight back, clean hit and that went sailing away over the fence. The key was Moeen Ali getting to the pitch and a clean extension of the arms gave it the power needed

60.3 - Lyon to Root, SIX, Root brings the slog sweep for this delivery that was tossed up and bowled on the stumps, he connects it well and it sails over long-on for a six. He also took a step down the track to get more to the pitch of the ball

83.2 - Johnson to Moeen Ali, out Caught by Smith!! Super catch. That is reminiscent of Strauss' take in 2005 in the slips to dismiss Gilly. On a short of length and outside off, holds its line, Moeen Ali in trying to defend gets a thick outside edge, it was going wide of Smith at 2nd slip, but he dived and grabbed it with his left-hand, somehow it got stuck at the edge of his palm. He went full-length to catch that. Doesn't celebrate much. He is relieved that he caught it. Replays show that he was airborne when caught it. Moeen Ali c Smith b Johnson 38(24) [4s-7 6s-1]

75.5 - Hazlewood to Stokes, out Caught by Nevill!! A leg-side strangle and Stokes walks. Aleem Dar has his finger up in a flash. That is a very soft dismissal. Full down leg, Stokes glanced it straight to Nevill down the leg-side. HotSpot shows a clear deflection. Also the ball brushed the pad after taking the bat on the way to the keeper. The fightback from the Aussies continues. Stokes c Nevill b Hazlewood 5(10) [4s-1]

74.2 - Starc to Buttler, out Bowled!! Another stump goes flying. Six now for Starc. Late swing beating the big drive of Buttler. He left a big gap between bat and pad, the ball was pitched up around off, swung in and missed the inside edge to knock back Buttler's off stump. This is quality bowling from Starc. Also must be said not a percentage shot from Buttler against the moving ball. Buttler b Starc 12(11) [4s-3]

72.1 - Starc to Mark Wood, out Bowled!! Fifer for Starc. Bang on leg stump and it is uprooted. Starc went for the inswinging yorker on the toes of Mark Wood, Mark Wood got his toes out of the way and tried to jam the bat down but the ball was too quick and too good for him. The stump takes a beating and that's a deserved five-wicket haul for the left-armer. Mark Wood played well but that was a very fine delivery. Mark Wood b Starc 28(32) [4s-5]

70.3 - Starc to Root, out Caught by Nevill!! End of Root. The crowd give him a standing ovation. Chants of "Roootttt" do the rounds. A carbon copy of the first ball of the over, just that Root edged the drive. A faint nick but that was enough and reward for Starc for pitching it up and working the angle across in his favor. Root c Nevill b Starc 130(176) [4s-19 6s-1]

61.5 - Hazlewood to Bairstow, out Caught by Chris Rogers!! Well, Bairstow has found the fielder at mid-wicket and that is a soft dismissal. This delivery was straying down leg, Bairstow clips it, but in the end it gets stuck on the stomach of Rogers and he takes the catch. End of a fine innings. Bairstow c Chris Rogers b Hazlewood 74(105) [4s-12]

27.4 - Starc to Cook, out Lbw!! Woah! How do you keep producing such deliveries? Teach me please. This was a toe-crusher from Starc, Cook wasn't expecting that, he stayed too deep inside the crease. By the time he thought of blocking the ball it already hit him plumb in front. In fact it is hitting middle of middle, bat came outside the line and Cook fell over too. Cook didn't even waste a second after that - Walked straightaway. Cook lbw b Starc 43(87) [4s-7]

13.4 - Starc to Bell, out Lbw!! That was a jaffa! It could have got any batsman out. Fast, swinging and right in the blockhole. The right word is - toe-crusher. Bell was late to bring his bat down, he couldn't get his front foot out of the way, the ball strikes his front boot before crashing into the back pad. As per HawkEye, it was going on to hit leg-stump. Bell lbw b Starc 1(6)

11.2 - Starc to Lyth, out Caught by Nevill!! A much needed wicket for Australia as some of the heads had started to drop. Lyth once again in this series nicks off. This was a lovely delivery from Starc, kept it on a length in the channel around off, the late away movement catches the outside edge and settles nicely in Nevill's mitts. Lyth pushed at it and that is the reason the outside edge was found. Lyth c Nevill b Starc 14(28) [4s-2]

79.3 - Lyon to Broad, no run, close, real close. Broad knelt down to paddle sweep and missed, was struck low on the pad and since the impact was umpire's call he survived. The ball was hitting the off stump

72.3 - Mark Wood to Lyon, FOUR, he plays that shot well, drifting down leg, Lyon clips it to fine leg for a boundary. Needed to get bat on it and did so

70.2 - Mark Wood to Voges, byes, FOUR, Mark Wood got carried away, swinging and slipped down leg, Buttler despite a dive to his left had no chance

62.2 - Mark Wood to Starc, byes, FOUR, going down leg and Mark Wood gets seam movement too, but the keeper can't stop it from going to the boundary despite diving to his right

60.5 - Broad to Johnson, FOUR, fuller from Broad, Johnson plays through the line and lofts it back over the bowler's head for a four. That shot came from nowhere

57.5 - Stokes to Johnson, leg byes, FOUR, Stokes tries the big inswinger, but it goes down leg, hits the boot of Johnson and it runs away for four leg-byes

56.0 - Stokes to Nevill, FOUR, Stokes goes for the magic delivery by trying an inswinger. However, this one turns out to be a full toss and goes down leg, Nevill gets a bit of bat on it, Buttler dives to his left, but can't stop the boundary

52.1 - Moeen Ali to Nevill, byes, FOUR, going down leg from Moeen Ali, Nevill tries to flick it, misses and Buttler again can't collect it cleanly and it runs away for four byes

52.0 - Finn to Voges, FOUR, well, Lyth at fourth slip gets a finger onto an attempted drive from Voges, but can't hold onto the catch. It was a full delivery tempting the drive, Voges goes after it, gets an outside edge and it runs away for a four

51.3 - Finn to Voges, FOUR, short delivery that was going down leg. Finn didn't even get bounce, Voges just helps it to fine leg for a boundary

50.3 - Moeen Ali to Nevill, FOUR, from round the wicket, Moeen Ali bowls it short and wide, Nevill stays back in the crease and cuts it to deep backward point. Poor bowling from Moeen

50.1 - Moeen Ali to Voges, FOUR, tossed up delivery and outside off, Voges leans into the drive and finds the gap between extra cover and long-off for a boundary

48.1 - Moeen Ali to Voges, FOUR, Voges leans forward into the drive and finds the gap through deep extra cover for a boundary

40.2 - Mark Wood to Clarke, FOUR, Clarke looked to leave that ball initially, ball deflects away off his hanging bat and runs in the gap between gully and backward point. Stokes gave the chase and stopped suddenly, seems to have done his hamstring and he is off the field

38.1 - Mark Wood to Voges, FOUR, length delivery sitting up nicely for Voges, he had width and pounced on it. Went on the back foot and cut that through cover, it raced away in a hurry

34.4 - Broad to Voges, FOUR, on middle and leg, all Voges needed to do was time the shot. He just about does that as he flicks it stylishly through mid-wicket. Don't bother running for those

30.3 - Broad to Voges, FOUR, deliberately done by Voges, opened the bat face and guided it in the gap between backward point and gully. Slightly full and wide of off from Broad

30.0 - Stokes to Clarke, byes, FOUR, very short and over the batsman and the leaping Buttler, four much-needed runs for the Aussies

26.1 - Broad to Smith, FOUR, fuller and outside off, Smith drives it through sweeper cover for a boundary. Smith was on a pair so he would be a happy man that he didn't get one

24.5 - Mark Wood to Warner, FOUR, short and down the leg-side, Warner helps it around the corner to fine leg for another boundary

22.5 - Mark Wood to Chris Rogers, FOUR, short and wide, Rogers takes a heavy toll of it by slashing it over the slip cordon for a boundary. With that four, he also got to his fifty

22.2 - Mark Wood to Chris Rogers, FOUR, Mark Wood bowls this one down leg, Rogers flicks it to fine leg for a boundary. Neatly played shot that one

22.1 - Mark Wood to Chris Rogers, byes, FOUR, short and high, Rogers ducks under it easily. It was miles over the keeper's head and he had no chance there. It runs away for four byes

19.2 - Stokes to Warner, FOUR, edged and yet another lucky boundary for Australia. Full and just outside off, Warner goes for a booming drive, thick outside edge flies between backward point and gully

18.5 - Moeen Ali to Chris Rogers, FOUR, full and wide of off, Rogers presses forward and clobbers the drive through cover, middled it well and timed it well too.

18.3 - Moeen Ali to Chris Rogers, FOUR, well played Rogers! It's again that late cut that he plays so well, short and wide, Rogers rocks back and executes the cut to perfection. Towards the third man fence

16.4 - Moeen Ali to Chris Rogers, FOUR, slightly overpitched and Rogers seizes the opportunity, went through with the front foot drive and caresses it through cover, no need to run for those

15.2 - Stokes to Warner, FOUR, well done Warner! You will be forever remembered for hitting the millionth legal delivery (in Tests in England) for a four, this was full and in the slot for Warner, he went with the on-drive and placed it wide of a diving mid-on fielder

13.4 - Finn to Warner, FOUR, full and wide, Warner doesn't miss out on those, leans on the front foot and laces the drive through cover, middled it and it raced away

13.2 - Finn to Warner, FOUR, finally luck seems to be going Australia's way, a thick top-edge flies towards the third man fence. Warner had no clue about that, slightly short and on leg, Warner didn't go through with the shot as he looked to attempt the pull, ball got big on him and took the top-edge that went over the slip cordon

12.1 - Stokes to Chris Rogers, FOUR, poor first ball from Stokes, the Aussie crowd stand and applaud as Australia get past their first innings total, down leg, flicked away nicely towards the fine leg fence. It was more of sarcastic/trolling applause from the Aussie crowd

11.3 - Finn to Chris Rogers, FOUR, overpitched and Rogers punishes it with an elegant drive through mid-off, stayed still got into a good position while leaning onto the drive, placed it well wide of the fielder

9.4 - Finn to Warner, FOUR, sprays it down leg, Warner helped it on its way towards the fine leg fence, beat Moeen Ali's dive in the deep

9.3 - Finn to Warner, FOUR, there is the typical Warner shot, stand still and drives it through the line, full and in the slot, Warner goes through with the drive wide of mid-off, no chance for the fielder

6.2 - Broad to Warner, FOUR, overpitched and punished. Broad goes in search of big swing but there's hardly any on this one, Warner leans forward and drives with an angled bat to send it through cover, nicely done that by Davey Warner

6.0 - Mark Wood to Chris Rogers, FOUR, edgeddd and past the flying fourth slip. Lucky for Bucky! Back of a length delivery outside off stump, Rogers looks to force it off the back foot, gets a thick edge that goes at a catchable height but luckily for Rogers it went to the left of Adam Lyth

3.4 - Mark Wood to Warner, FOUR, not convincing from Warner. He goes for the back foot punch as Wood bowls in the back of a length region, the ball hits the outside half of the bat and flies through the vacant point region, a fielder there would have swallowed it

1.5 - Mark Wood to Chris Rogers, FOUR, another overpitched delivery outside off, swung but was too full, Chris Rogers watched it well and drove it through cover all along the ground, another boundary

1.3 - Mark Wood to Chris Rogers, FOUR, Chris Rogers is off the mark and off the dreaded pair. Leg stump half-volley and he flicks it away emphatically wide of square leg. Easy pickings

0.4 - Broad to Chris Rogers, leg byes, FOUR, shaping in towards the thigh pad, takes the thigh pad and beats fine leg's despairing dive, given as leg byes

24.2 - Mark Wood to Warner, SIX, Geez! Warner is certainly flirting with danger. He gets into two minds whether to pull or not, in the end he was late on that shot and it flies away via a fat top edge over fine leg for a six. When he hit it, he must have felt he had holed out but it kept sailing over the fielder

9.5 - Finn to Warner, SIX, Warner is slowly getting into his groove, this was thumped over the deep backward square fence, short and Warner had enough time to rock back and time the pull over the fence. He looked in complete control while playing that shot

72.4 - Mark Wood to Lyon, out Bowled!! There it is! England have regained the Ashes! A fantastic comeback after a horror series away in 2013-14 when they were Mitchell Johnson-washed 5-0. A historic moment for the entire team and the TB crowd go wild. Redemption for Cook as he was the one who was captain when they lost 0-5 in Australia. He must be a happy and delighted man. That's the beauty of sport for it offers a chance for the vanquished to be a victor once more. Another three-day Test. Coming to the wicket - it was full and outside off, Lyon was shaping to leave that but was late in getting the bat away from the line of the ball, the thick inside edge crashes into the stumps and the celebrations begin. The stumps are a mess as Mark Wood roars and leaps in delight. Lyon b Mark Wood 4(12) [4s-1]

69.0 - Mark Wood to Hazlewood, out Bowled!! Brilliant yorker. And the stump takes a beating. Inswinging and late too, too good for Hazlewood as he couldn't bring the bat down in time. The ball clatters into middle stump and just the wicket away now from winning the Ashes back again are England. Mark Wood roars in delight. He was aiming for that delivery all over and finally executed it to perfection. Hazlewood b Mark Wood 0(10)

66.0 - Stokes to Starc, out Caught by Bell!! Didn't take long, did it? On a back of a length and outside off, Starc could've left it alone but tried to defend, went off the splice of the bat and Bell at 2nd slip took it fingers pointing upwards. The ball was travelling but Bell ensured he caught it comfortably. Just the two wickets away now are England. Six for Stokes. Starc c Bell b Stokes 0(17)

61.3 - Stokes to Johnson, out Caught by Cook!! Finally, Cook takes a catch! This one swings away late from Johnson, he pushes at it with him rooted to the crease, gets an outside edge and it goes to Cook at first slip, who takes the catch. Stokes has got a five-for now. He holds the ball in the air like McGrath used to do and waves to the crowd. Johnson c Cook b Stokes 5(16) [4s-1]

57.4 - Stokes to Nevill, out Lbw!! Well, Nevill is gone, too. He took the review, but it was clear that it was in line and hitting the top of middle-stump on replays. This one jagged back off the seam appreciably, Nevill just tried to leave it, it hit him on the pad and he was trapped in front. Stokes has certainly got the ball to move in the air or off the seam since 2011 when he took his first five-wicket haul in County cricket. Nevill lbw b Stokes 17(57) [4s-2]

40.5 - Mark Wood to Clarke, out Caught by Bell!! That is brilliant work from Bell and Cook, Bell takes it on the rebound. Everyone watching the game knew this was coming, Clarke was feeling for the balls outside off and is going hard at those deliveries too. He finally nicked one and the outside edge was well held by Bell. Cook at first slip initially went to his right and failed to grab it on the first attempt and while losing his balance flicked it to Bell on the second attempt, Bell at 2nd slip then takes the rebound. Coming to the ball, full and seamed away sharply in the corridor of uncertainty. Clarke c Bell b Mark Wood 13(37) [4s-1]

28.2 - Broad to Smith, out Caught by Stokes!! The trap has worked perfectly for Broad. Full and outside off, Smith comes forward and drives it uppishly, he didn't keep it down, Stokes was placed perfectly for that shot at short point and it goes to him. He completes a low catch. The trap was set-up in the 27th over, especially when Smith drove a full delivery through the off-side for a four. Smith c Stokes b Broad 5(9) [4s-1]

28.0 - Stokes to S Marsh, out Caught by Root!! Stokes is finally getting just reward. This one swings back in and then seams away after pitching. Marsh comes half-forward, pushes at it, gets an outside edge and Root at third slip takes the catch. Marsh has before too paid the price for coming half-forward. It also has to be said that since the Radcliffe stand was built in 1998, it has helped the bowlers to swing as the ground has got enclosed. To make it even better for swingers, since Fox and New stands were built it has accentuated the effect. S Marsh c Root b Stokes 2(6)

26.0 - Stokes to Warner, out Caught by Broad!! From that time, Warner was getting into a tangle while playing up to a short ball. Here, Stokes bangs it short, Warner thinks of pulling it, then tries to cross-bat by bringing out the pull shot, gets a top-edge to Broad, who sets under it and takes the catch at mid-on. It has been a strange innings from Warner for sure. Warner c Broad b Stokes 64(74) [4s-9 6s-2]

24.0 - Stokes to Chris Rogers, out Caught by Root!! Stokes deserves this wicket. It was a fuller length delivery that angled in and nipped away from Rogers to catch the outside edge, with Rogers trying to drive from the crease, it flies to Root at third slip, who again dives to his left and takes an excellent one-handed catch. In recent times, too many times catches have been dropped off Stokes, but he finally gets one. They also checked for the no-ball, but he was fine. Chris Rogers c Root b Stokes 52(83) [4s-10]

15.5 - Stokes to Warner, no run, another chance goes begging, edged and dropped again, this time it's Bell at second slip. Full and angled in on off, Warner looks for the drive, outside edge flies towards the right of Bell who dived full length. It was a little low but by slip fielding standards you can't afford to leave those chances. Bell got his right hand but it was almost dying on him, could have been a chance for Cook had Bell left that

8.2 - Broad to Warner, no run, can you believe it? It is Cook at first slip who has dropped a rather easy chance. This was nicely set up by Broad, again that angle that did Warner, on a good length and seaming away late. Warner poked at it and got a thick outside edge, Cook dived to his left but allowed the ball to burst through his hands. Broad isn't too pleased with the effort

69.3 - Stokes to Voges, 1 run, the crowd cheer but it is more for Voges taking the single and exposing Lyon rather than the fact that he has got to fifty. On a short of length and outside off, pushed in front of point and Voges takes the single. With that single he gets to fifty as well. A raise of the bat and Clarke and Lehmann are seen clapping. It has been a gutsy, gritty innings from Voges who played a lot here at TB for Notts

24.1 - Mark Wood to Warner, 2 runs, Warner gets to his 18th fifty. this one was going down leg, as Mark Wood bangs it short, Warner works it away to fine leg for a brace. His bottom hand came off the bat handle there, but he wouldn't mind it. He has been lucky as he was let off twice, but it has been a pugnacious innings

4.0 - Mark Wood to Warner, no run, poor review that from England. Mark Wood goes for the inswinging toe-crusher, Warner is beaten by pace and the late inswing, tries to dig it out but the ball hits his right boot, however, it was easily pitching outside leg and it was quite clear to the naked eye that it was Not Out. England have lost a review very early
