Miller: 'We put down a few catches, it wasn't a great performance in the field from us today. They have got the runs, we need to get out there and get them now. It looks a really good wicket. Obviously, the guys have come off from a good win, we want to get off to a good start, score big in the six overs and put them under pressure. We want to keep up with the scoring rate and then take it deep as much as we can while chasing.'
Among PUN's bowlers, Axar Patel and Sandeep Sharma bowled reasonably well. Their batsmen haven't exactly fired on all cylinders this season. However, this is their chance to prove their worth and help the team to overcome their fancied opponents.
Brendon McCullum carted the opposition to all corners of the ground as CHN piled up a massive total. McCullum played a volley of thunderous strokes and for a brief period, PUN wilted under pressure. It could be seen by the fact that Mitchell Johnson dropped a couple of catches. MS Dhoni, Dwayne Smith and Suresh Raina too played rousing knocks. In the third over, Smith landed meaty blows off Karanveer Singh to clobber him for 22 runs. Raina had his fair share of luck as he was dropped by Johnson and survived an appeal for caught behind when he had clearly edged it. In the slog overs, MS Dhoni smacked lusty blows.

Once you get going in the first few overs, it is the ideal platform for the middle-order. They (McCullum and Smith) back their strengths and they do it really well. We made things pretty difficult for ourselves and you need to do better when you're playing against a formidable batting line-up like that of CHN. We haven't put a complete game together yet. Earlier in the day, PUN put up a disappointing show with the ball. To make it worse for them, Mitchell Johnson dropped a slew of catches. For the hosts, Brendon McCullum cracked a powerful knock. MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Dwayne Smith too played useful hands to lift the home team to an imposing total.
CHN's spin twins, Ashwin and Jadeja snaffled five wickets between them to take the hosts to a comprehensive win.
