20.0 - Chameera to Dhoni, FOUR, in the blockhole well outside off, Dhoni once again looks to smash it away as he goes for a big heave, can only manage an inside edge that runs away past the keeper and crashes into the fence

17.5 - Chameera to Raina, FOUR, edged and four! Lucky runs for India and that brings up the 50-run stand as well. Another one in the blockhole wide outside off, Raina looks to jam the drive out, can only manage a thick outside edge that rolls away fine past the diving keeper, hits the fence in no time as third man was inside the ring

17.3 - Chameera to Raina, FOUR, just short of a good length and around off, Raina slogs it across the line, didn't get it off the middle but it lands in the vacant deep mid-wicket region, the fielder from deep square leg, runs across to his right, puts in the dive near the rope but fails to pull the ball back in, trickles away to the fence to make it three boundaries in a row now (not counting the wide of course)

17.2 - Chameera to Raina, FOUR, pitched up and right in the slot on middle stump line, Raina hoicks it over mid-wicket, picks out the gap in the deep and collects another boundary. He cleared his front leg to get right underneath that

17.1 - Chameera to Raina, FOUR, slower short ball on middle stump line, Raina goes right across to get inside the line of the ball and then he pulls it over short fine leg, crashes into the fence in a jiffy

16.0 - Kasun Rajitha to Raina, FOUR, take that! Raina backs away a touch to give himself room and Rajitha bowls a low full toss, Raina wouldn't miss out on the freebie as he slaps it past a diving extra cover, who dived across to his right but couldn't get a hand on it, runs away to the fence

15.1 - Kasun Rajitha to Pandya, FOUR, short-arm hoick! If there's a shot that goes by that name. On a good length and on the stumps, Pandya gets forward and hoicks it over mid-wicket, middled it and it runs away to the fence in a jiffy. The extension of the arms was not there, yet he timed it to perfection

12.5 - Dasun Shanaka to Rahane, FOUR, lucky boundary for Rahane but he won't mind it one bit. Short of length delivery on off, Rahane waits for the ball to arrive, glides it late to the left of short third man, who dives across but makes a mess of it, didn't get his body behind the ball and it trickles away to the fence

12.4 - Dasun Shanaka to Rahane, FOUR, good strike! Rahane has timed the pants off this one. Slower ball on a fuller length outside off, Rahane had enough room to free his arms and he smacks it back over the bowler's head, no need to run for those

8.5 - Siriwardana to Rahane, FOUR, nicely played by Rahane, Siriwardana drops one short and on the stumps, Rahane rocks back and pulls it to the right of long-on, the fielder puts in the dive, but the ball is too quick for him

6.0 - T Perera to Dhawan, FOUR, a boundary laden batting powerplay for India, back of a length and on Dhawan's hips, he uses the pace on the ball and tucks it away behind square on the on-side, the fielder is in the ring and the ball rolls away for a boundary

5.5 - T Perera to Dhawan, FOUR, cracking shot, on a good length and just outside off, Dhawan gets forward, drives it on the up and finds the gap past extra cover, no need to run for those

4.5 - Senanayake to Dhawan, FOUR, back-to-back boundaries for Dhawan, gets down low, uses Senanayake's pace and sweeps it past the square leg umpire, no one in the deep and the ball rolls away past the ropes

4.4 - Senanayake to Dhawan, FOUR, Senanayake drops this one way too short, Dhawan is quick to rock back and pulls it to the right of square leg. The fielder in the deep is very square and the ball rolls away to the fence

4.0 - Kasun Rajitha to Dhawan, FOUR, hat-trick of fours, but this is poor bowling from Rajitha, a long half-volley outside off, Dhawan bends down and drills it wide of mid-off, kept admiring his shot as the ball raced away to the fence in a hurry

3.5 - Kasun Rajitha to Dhawan, FOUR, this is turning out to be an expensive over, full-toss outside off, Dhawan gets forward and drives it through extra cover, no need to run for those

3.4 - Kasun Rajitha to Dhawan, FOUR, that's easy pickings for Dhawan, length delivery outside off, Dhawan gets a big stride forward and drives it on the up, it was in the air but well wide of mid-off, rolls away to the fence for a boundary

3.1 - Kasun Rajitha to Rohit, FOUR, Rohit is looking in good touch, length delivery outside off, the line was perfect to play the lofted off-drive, Rohit leans forward and lifts it over that fielder, one bounce and over the ropes

0.1 - Kasun Rajitha to Rohit, FOUR, cracking shot, gentle loosener from Rajitha, short and wide outside off, Rohit gets on top of the bounce and cuts it up and over point, that will give him some pleasure, he was out for a duck in the first match

16.2 - Senanayake to Pandya, SIX, Pandya is turning it on in Ranchi. Back-to-back sixes for him! This was full and darted on the pads, Pandya clears his front leg, gets right under it and tonks it over the wide long-on fence for another maximum

16.1 - Senanayake to Pandya, SIX, glorious strike! Senanayake bowls a flatter delivery on the stumps, Pandya quickly goes on the back foot and clubs it over the deep mid-wicket fence for a maximum

12.0 - S Prasanna to Rohit, SIX, smashed! Prasanna shortens his length and pays the price. Bowls a rank long hop, Rohit quickly rocks back and muscles the pull over the deep mid-wicket fence, went sailing into the stands. Gets the crowd going as well

2.4 - Senanayake to Dhawan, SIX, nicely played! This was flighted and on off, Dhawan went down low and lifts it high and over square leg, went sailing over the ropes for a maximum

2.0 - T Perera to Dhawan, SIX, lovely shot, leg-stump half-volley on Dhawan's pads, he spots the length early, plays the pick-up shot and sends it whistling over the deep square leg fence for the first six of the innings

19.0 - T Perera to Yuvraj, out Caught by Senanayake!! Perera has done it. He now has a hat-trick to his name. Fourth time a bowler has taken a T20I hat-trick. Yuvi departs for a first-ball duck. Nothing but another full toss from Perera, Yuvraj wanted to go big over long-on, swings hard but couldn't quite get his timing right. Long-on settles under it and takes a very simple catch in the end. Perera is delighted as his team-mates run in to congratulate him. Yuvraj c Senanayake b T Perera 0(1)

18.5 - T Perera to Raina, out Caught by Chameera!! Two in two for Perera and Raina too departs now. Nothing but a low full toss well outside off, Raina wanted to lap it fine behind square on the on-side, doesn't bother to keep it down and ended up hitting it a little squarer than he would have wanted, backward square leg moves across to his left and takes an easy catch. He's on a hat-trick now. Raina c Chameera b T Perera 30(19) [4s-5]

18.4 - T Perera to Pandya, out Caught by Gunathilaka!! Pandya's cameo comes to an end. He departs after a 12-ball 27. Another low full toss from Perera, Pandya looks to swing it over long-on but couldn't quite get under it, can only manage to get it off the toe-end and it goes high in the air, long-on runs forward and hangs on to the skier. Pandya c Gunathilaka b T Perera 27(12) [4s-1 6s-2]

14.2 - Senanayake to Rahane, out Caught by Dilshan!! Another one bites the dust and India find themselves in a spot of bother now. Drags this short this time around, it was much quicker than what Rahane anticipated. He looked to pull it away but the ball takes the top-edge and goes high in the air, extra cover hardly had to move to take the catch. The ball skidded on towards the batsman and hence, he just couldn't connect well. Rahane c Dilshan b Senanayake 25(21) [4s-3]

13.1 - Chameera to Rohit, out Caught&Bowled!! What a catch! Chameera, take a bow for snaffling this. Slower ball on the stumps, Rohit was looking to work it away on the on-side, closes the bat face a little too early and ends up spooning it to the right of the bowler off the leading edge. Even though it was in the air, Chameera had a lot of ground to cover, he quickly moves across to his right, puts in a full length dive and takes a magnificent catch with both hands. This wicket will surely boost his confidence. Hat-trick ball coming up next as he took Dhawan's wicket with the last ball of his previous spell as well. Rohit c and b Chameera 43(36) [4s-2 6s-1]

7.0 - Chameera to Dhawan, out Caught by Chandimal!! Dhawan falls after a handy knock, lovely delivery from Chameera. This was banged in short and just outside off, Dhawan was arching backwards as he looked to guide it towards third man, the ball got big on him - a result of some extra bounce for Chameera. Dhawan ends up getting a thick edge on the dab and it's a simple catch for the keeper. Chameera is excited as he celebrates, India lose a wicket after a strong start. Dhawan c Chandimal b Chameera 51(25) [4s-7 6s-2]

6.2 - Chameera to Dhawan, 2 runs, maiden T20I fifty for Dhawan, width on offer from Chameera, Dhawan gets on top of the bounce and chops it behind square on the off-side, the fielder in the deep gets across, puts in the slide and keeps them down to a couple of runs. Plenty of cheers from the packed Ranchi crowd as Dhawan raises his bat

15.3 - Bumrah to Siriwardana, FOUR, slower ball on the stumps, Siriwardana backs away to give himself room and flays it to the left of backward point, runs away to the fence in a hurry

10.4 - Yuvraj to Chandimal, FOUR, 50-run stand comes up. Chandimal goes inside-out wide of long-off with this lofted drive, Rohit seemed to have it covered but he ends up jarring his knee onto the ground, couldn't quite collect the ball and it escapes to the fence

5.5 - Nehra to Kapugedera, FOUR, this is even better! On a good length and well outside off, Kapugedera leans forward, drives it on the up and finds the gap past cover, no need to run for those

5.4 - Nehra to Kapugedera, FOUR, lovely shot, length delivery outside off, Kapugedera spots it early, gets down on his knees and swipes it over mid-wicket, almost went all the way, bounces just in front of the ropes

3.5 - Nehra to Kapugedera, FOUR, top-edge and four, the surprise bouncer from Nehra, Kapugedera was in no position as he looked to get the pull going, the top-edge flies fine, bounces once and crosses the ropes

2.0 - Nehra to Chandimal, FOUR, lovely shot, full and wide outside off, Chandimal gets forward and drills it through cover for a boundary

16.0 - Bumrah to Dasun Shanaka, SIX, Shanaka this time bends low on his front knee and swings across the line. Even though he didn't time his slog really well, it had enough on it to clear a leaping Pandya at the long-on fence. 13 runs came off the over

14.5 - Raina to Dasun Shanaka, SIX, that's an even better hit from Shanaka. Kneels down and goes for the slog sweep off this tossed up delivery, nails it to perfection over the cow corner fence. 88-metre hit

14.2 - Raina to Dasun Shanaka, SIX, slightly quicker on the stumps, Shanaka clears his front leg, gets right under it and hammers it over the long-on fence for a maximum

13.1 - Ravindra Jadeja to Siriwardana, SIX, that has been smashed! Darted on off and middle, Siriwardana clears his front leg and slogs it across the line, gets it over mid-wicket and the fielder in the deep can only watch it sail into the stands

8.1 - Yuvraj to Kapugedera, SIX, lovely shot, this was tossed up invitingly outside off, Kapugedera used his reach to good effect and then lifted it handsomely over long-off, sails over the fence

18.0 - Bumrah to Chameera, out Bowled!! Bumrah has broken the leg stump. Brilliant bit of bowling in the death overs and the Sri Lankan lower-order has no answers. Fourth player to go for a duck today for Sri Lanka. This was angled in on a fuller length, Chameera plays all around it as he looks to drive, misses it completely as the ball snakes past the inside edge and crashes into the leg stump. Took some wood out of the leg stick there. Too good for the batter. Chameera b Bumrah 0(3)

17.3 - Bumrah to Senanayake, out Lbw!! The Sri Lankan ship is sinking quickly. Senanayake departs without troubling the scorers. Third Sri Lankan batsman to get out for a duck. Pitched up and angled in on middle and leg, Senanayake was deep in the crease as he looked to work it away, missed and wore it low on the pad. The bowler went up immediately and the onfield umpire too didn't take long to raise his finger. Senanayake lbw b Bumrah 0(2)

16.4 - Ashwin to T Perera, out Caught by Rahane!! Hat-trick boy Perera doesn't have the same luck today with the bat. Departs for a first-ball duck. Nothing but a flighted delivery that was tossed up well outside off, Perera looks to smash it away after dancing down the track, can only manage a thick outside edge that goes high in the air. Rahane at backward point settles under it and he will never drop those. T Perera c Rahane b Ashwin 0(1)

16.2 - Ashwin to Dasun Shanaka, out Caught by Raina!! Shanka departs after a handy little cameo, but his team are nowhere close to the target. Dragged this short well outside off, Shanaka wanted to flat-bat it over the bowler's head, can only end up slicing it high. Raina at long-on runs across to his left and tumbles as he takes a good catch. Dasun Shanaka c Raina b Ashwin 27(18) [6s-3]

11.3 - Ravindra Jadeja to Chandimal, out Stumped!! Dhoni is the best man for the stumping job. He's too quick for everyone else. Drifting in around off and spinning away late, Chandimal was reaching out on the front foot to push at it, the ball goes past the outside edge and Dhoni in a split second, collects and breaks the stumps down, even before Chandimal could ground his back foot. It was in the air and Sri Lanka have lost their captain as well now. Chandimal st Dhoni b Ravindra Jadeja 31(30) [4s-2]

11.2 - Ravindra Jadeja to Kapugedera, out Caught by Pandya!! Jadeja has his man. Kapugedera backs away and wanted to go big straight back over the bowler's head, mistimes it completely and Pandya from long-on runs to his left and takes a well-judged catch. He had a lot of ground to cover and he did it with ease in the end. Kapugedera c Pandya b Ravindra Jadeja 32(27) [4s-3 6s-1]

3.2 - Nehra to Gunathilaka, out Caught by Dhoni!! Nehra is on fire, India have their third wicket now. This was bowled with a wobbly seam, held its line after pitching, drew Gunathilaka into playing way in front of his body, gets a faint inside edge. Dhoni gobbles up the ball and throws it high in the air, Sri Lanka have been rocked early, the chase of 197 is looking tougher and tougher. Gunathilaka c Dhoni b Nehra 2(7)

1.1 - Nehra to S Prasanna, out Caught by Yuvraj!! Nehra strikes with his first ball as well. This was full and wide outside off, Prasanna went hard on the drive, gets it right off the toe-end of the bat, it looped slowly towards mid-off. Yuvraj runs in, dives forward, gets both hands under it and holds on. Not the start Sri Lanka would have wanted, chasing 197. S Prasanna c Yuvraj b Nehra 1(4)

0.1 - Ashwin to Dilshan, out Stumped!! Ashwin strikes with his first legal delivery. This was pushed through by Ashwin, pitched on off and went with the angle, Dilshan was looking to drive it through cover, the momemtum dragged him out of the crease, MS was quick to latch on to the ball and breaks the stumps - with Dilshan struggling to drag his foot back in. The third umpire has a look and sends him on his way. Dilshan st Dhoni b Ashwin 0(1)

10.1 - Yuvraj to Kapugedera, 1 run, looks to flat-bat this shortish delivery away, miscues it completely and Rohit from long-off runs forward, puts in the dive, gets his hands to it, but it looked like that the ball definitely touched the grass while Rohit took a tumble. Goes down as not out

1.5 - Nehra to Chandimal, 2 runs, that will go down as a chance, but it was always going to be a tough chance, Pandya was the fielder at mid-on. Chandimal shimmied down the track, doesn't get to the pitch and ends up dragging the shovel, went to the right of mid-on. Pandya threw himself at the ball, went with both hands but can't hold on
