33.1 - Mirwais to H Masakadza, FOUR, short and wide and Masakadza won't miss out on those, rocks back and clatters the cut through backward point, no one moved

31.3 - Rokhan Barakzai to H Masakadza, FOUR, this one is much slower and just outside off, not much flight on that one though, Masakadza goes down and reverse paddles it fine to third man fence

29.3 - Mirwais to C Ervine, FOUR, appeal for an lbw but that has been given runs which means there was an inside edge, it was a length delivery and just outside off, he moved across and swooped low to sweep it fine, did not quite get it off the middle and it raced down to fine leg fence

28.1 - Rokhan Barakzai to H Masakadza, FOUR, that is a nice looking shot, a revers sweep, it was a flatter delivery and H Masakadza, swooped low to reverse sweep it fine, the fielder gave a chase but could not stop it from crossing the fence

21.4 - Shenwari to H Masakadza, FOUR, this one is better from Masakadza, it was a slider down the leg and Masakadza swooped low to sweep it fine, that one raced to fine leg fence

18.4 - Rokhan Barakzai to C Ervine, FOUR, and again. Hunches low, not quite sitting on his knees but using the drift from over the wicket to his advantage and paddling the reverse-sweep away

5.0 - Mirwais to Peter Moor, FOUR, well calculated risk! Mid-off is up, the pace is gentle and the length is benevolent. In the slot on a good length just outside off, Moor lofts it through the line and clears the ropes on the bounce

46.1 - Dawlat Zadran to C Ervine, out Caught by Nawroz!! Zadran survives a no-ball check on two counts - first the front foot, and then the height of the full toss. Both are marginally okay and he is finally granted Ervine's scalp. Ervine could have hit this anywhere. Had ample width as well. Instead, slapped it straight to long-off. Hit hard and flat after skating down the track, the ball was going at the rate of knots to the right of the fielder. He skittles across, and cups it over his head. 39.4 - Nabi to H Masakadza, out Bowled!! Yes, you could sense he was twitching to break free. And lovely bowling. Lobbed it up in the air above the eyeline, took ages to land even as Masakadza gave the charge. He played for some turn while attempting an agricultural swing across the line. Doesn't turn as much, beats the edge and clatters into middle and leg. H Masakadza b Nabi 47(64) [4s-4]

16.3 - Rokhan Barakzai to Mutumbami, out Caught&Bowled!! A wicket follows another. Mutumbami follows his opening partner back to the dressing room. Such a soft dismissal. Looked like the ball stopped on him as he stood on the back foot looking to punch it away. Tried checking his shot but chipped it straight back to the bowler. Barakzai juggled with it, but was alert enough to grab the rebound. Mutumbami c and b Rokhan Barakzai 21(47) [4s-1 6s-1]

15.5 - Nabi to Peter Moor, out Stumped!! Just the man Afghanistan would have wanted to see the back of. Moor was ticking along beautifully but now has to amble back into the pavilion. Beautiful piece of bowling. Draws him forward with the flight, add to that the drift in the air which curls it away from the bat, Moor had to really stretch out, ended up dragging his back leg outside the crease. 40.5 - Amir Hamza to C Ervine, 1 run, on the pads and nudged behind square in the vacant spaces to bring up a fifty

14.2 - Rokhan Barakzai to Peter Moor, 1 run, fifty for Moor! He's gone at a brisk pace as well. Punches a single down to long-off to get to the landmark

47.3 - Luke Jongwe to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, makes room and cracks this length delivery over cover to level the scores

46.3 - Muzarabani to Mirwais, FOUR, that is the shot of a top class batsman, full and outside off, Ashraf square drives to beat the backward point fielder, that went like a bullet

39.2 - Chigumbura to Najibullah, FOUR, that is a poor delivery and it deserved tha treatment, it was a short delivery and Zadran rocked back to pull it hard through the deep mid-wicket region, there is no protection there and it raced to the fence

32.0 - Chigumbura to Nawroz, FOUR, lucky boundary to get off the mark, fuller length and outside off, Mangal looks to push at it with laden feet, gets a thick inside edge and beats the keeper to scoot through to fine leg fence

28.5 - Muzarabani to Nabi, FOUR, the fielder at deep mid-on has misjudged that one, he had to keep an eye on the ball as he went back to catch, in the end could not snaffle it. It was a fuller length delivery and Nabi lofted it high and handsome, could not get the distance though, there was enoguh elevation on it. The fielder could not get to it and it went one bounce over the ropes

27.0 - Muzarabani to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR. Whacked. That actually made a cracking sound, short delivery and Shahzad cracks it off the back foot to find the gap through deep mid-wicket, that one raced to the fence in a jiffy

25.1 - S Raza to Nabi, FOUR, flighted delivery and Nabi creams the drive through the cover region, the fielder at extra cover dived but could not stop that one

22.2 - Cremer to Nabi, FOUR, this time he has found the gap, allow the ball to come to his bat and late cuts it to beat the fielder at backward point

20.1 - Cremer to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, sweeps and sweeps it fine, that one was time beautifully, flighted delivery and on the stumps, Shahzad stooped and swept it fine to beat the fielder at short fine leg

19.4 - S Raza to Nabi, FOUR, width on offer and Nabi does not miss out, clatters the cut through backward point, the ball races to the fence in a jiffy

13.5 - W Masakadza to Ali Zadran, FOUR, that is a good looking drive, did not try to hit that hard, came down the track and creamed it straight, long-on had no chance there

12.3 - H Masakadza to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, width on offer and that man will kill you on those, this was wide and Shahzad finds the gap on the cut to get it to square third man fence

9.1 - W Masakadza to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, tossed up and on his legs, Shahzad takes it on full to paddle it to fine leg fence

8.5 - Luke Jongwe to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, it was only a matter of time before Shahzad would go for it, it was a length delivery and on the stumps, Shahzad lofts it across the line to get it over mid-on, one bounce over the ropes

7.4 - Muzarabani to Ali Zadran, FOUR, bad delivery and that deserved to be punished, it was too straight and Zadran clipped it fine to beat the fielder at short fine leg, that one raced to the fence

6.2 - Luke Jongwe to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, who would have stopped that? short delivery and he saw it early, rotated his body and pulled it behind square on the on-side, the fielder put in a dive but to no avail

3.1 - Muzarabani to Ali Zadran, FOUR, that is a good looking punch, that will be the first boundary of the Afghan innings, it was short of length delivery and just outside off, Zadran stood tall and punched it through the cover region, the fielder gave a chase but was not quicker than the ball

44.3 - W Masakadza to Mirwais, SIX, down the track he goes and has cleared the ropes with ease, did not quite get to the pitch of the delivery but went with the shot and got it over long-off, the fielder at long-off saw it sail over him

30.3 - Luke Jongwe to Mohammad Shahzad, SIX, how would you define that shot? It was a short delivery and Shahzad swung at it, did not look like a conventional pull though. However what mattered was that it went over the fielder at deep mid-wicket

24.5 - Cremer to Mohammad Shahzad, SIX, this time he decides to go against the spin and connects it well, it was always going over the fence, flighted delivery and he goes down on one knee to slog it over deep mid-wicket for the maximum

18.4 - Cremer to Mohammad Shahzad, SIX, that will be fifty for Shahzad, flighted delivery and Shahzad goes on one knee to flog it over deep mid-wicket, that one went into the stands

15.1 - W Masakadza to Mohammad Shahzad, SIX, big shot from Mohammad Shahzad and that will clear long-on, it was a tossed up and Zadran saw it early, came down the track and lofted it over long-on, who jumped but could not get fingers to it

11.0 - H Masakadza to Mohammad Shahzad, SIX, oh, how can you keep this man silent? It was a fuller length delivery and just outside off, Shahzad cracked it over the bowler's head and that one went soaring over the long-off fence

40.0 - Chigumbura to Najibullah, out Caught by (sub)Chibhabha!! That is a brilliant catch. It looked like falling in the safe zone but the fielder covered good ground and got to it with both the hands. It was a short delivery and Zadran was late onto the pull, ended up ballooning it to mid-wicket, the fielder from square leg ran for it and got there in time. 38.0 - Chigumbura to Shenwari, out Bowled!! There is pin drop silence at the ground. Shenwari has to depart. This one pitched on a length and nipped back in to find the gap between bat and bad of Shenwari as he looked to push at it from the crease. The ball hit the top of middle. Zimbabwe are delighted. More pressure for Mohammad Shahzad, he will have to play through the innings now. Shenwari b Chigumbura 4(14)

35.1 - Chigumbura to Stanikzai, out Bowled!! What is going on here? Afghanistan have lost another one, this is typical minnows stuff fron Afghanistan. It was slightly short but there was not enough room to cut it, Stanikzai went for the expensive cut without moving his feet, ended up chopping it back to the stumps. Stanikzai b Chigumbura 1(2)

34.5 - Cremer to Nawroz, out Caught&Bowled!! That's as easy as it gets. This match is not over yet. Cremer has struck. To be honest, Nawroz was never looking comfortable there, it was a flighted delivery and Mangal scooped it back to the bowler, a dolly for Cremer and he accepts it gleefully. This wicket is going to put some pressure on Shahzad. Nawroz c and b Cremer 8(14) [4s-1]

31.4 - Chigumbura to Mohammad Shahzad, out Nabi Run Out!! 1 run completed. A terrible mix-up was the only way Afghanistan were going to lose a wicket, Shahzad eased down this fuller length delivery to long-on and called for 2, Nabi hesitated before going for it. But the second run was never there, the throw from the deep was right at the stumps at the bowler's end. Chigumbura collected the throw and caught Nabi short of the ground. 17.5 - S Raza to Ali Zadran, out Caught by C Ervine!! Big, big wicket that is. It looked like clearing the fielder there, Zadran timed the pants off it but may be did not get enough on it, came down the track and lofted it across the line, the fielder at deep mid-wicket snaffled it and that will be the end of Zadran. 37.4 - Chigumbura to Mohammad Shahzad, 1 run, he has done it, his 4th ton in the ODIs. Jumps in the air and then does Sazda to thank the almighty. It was a fuller length delivery and he guided it to third man to get to the milestone.
