19.4 - Umar Gul to U Akmal, FOUR, goes for the fullish delivery just inside the tramline, Akmal's meets it with protracted hands and flogs it through cover

19.2 - Umar Gul to Dwayne Bravo, FOUR, follows Bravo with a full delivery and Bravo has seen this too many times. Opens his bat face while digging it out and beat backward point to race away

17.3 - Elliott to Dwayne Bravo, FOUR, that was a a monstrous attempt at a heave. Legcutter on off, Bravo swung through it, found the outside edge on the bat swing and it races away wide of the keeper

16.5 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, FOUR, not at all in control. Deep square leg came gushing in, threw himself forward but the ball bounces underneath him to the fences. Shortish ball it was and pulled half-controlled round the corner

16.1 - Anwar Ali to Dwayne Bravo, FOUR, BRAVO! That's the shot of the night. Back of a length, Bravo stands tall and punches it on the up. Through mid-off and he ended up with his back arched and bat high to pose for the cameras

14.5 - Babar to U Akmal, FOUR, another full toss. It's a buffet. On the pads, Akmal met it with Warney's wrists and clips it away through mid-wicket

14.3 - Babar to U Akmal, FOUR, high full toss outside off and it's been sliced, like your morning bread. Opens his bat, gets on top of the bounce with protracted hands and gets it away behind point

14.1 - Babar to Azhar Ali, FOUR, that's been drilled. Flatter outside off, Ali hits through the line and tonks it through mid-off. A dive at long-off but it's not good enough

12.4 - Babar to Azhar Ali, FOUR, there's his half-century! Gets a PSL fifty on his cricket resume. Flighted delivery, Ali leans into a drive and bludgeons it through covers

9.4 - Nabi to Azhar Ali, FOUR, reverse lap in action and Ali does well to get his bat behind this flighted delivery, beats the fielder at short third man with ease

8.3 - Elliott to Gayle, FOUR, fifty for Gayle, full toss and breakfast stuff for Gayle, cracks the extra cover drive and no one moved inside the ring

8.1 - Elliott to Azhar Ali, FOUR, edged and that runs away to the third man fence, Ali went hard on the cut and got a thick outside edge that beat the fielder at short third man

7.3 - Nabi to Azhar Ali, FOUR, in the air but safe, Ali goes for the sweep and gets it off the top edge, the ball carries over the fielder at short fine leg and races away

5.3 - Nabi to Azhar Ali, FOUR, this time Ali connects with the sweep and it looked good, no chance for the fielder scouting the deep square leg fence, the ball races away to the ropes

5.1 - Nabi to Azhar Ali, FOUR, uses his feet this time but the length is short, Ali adjusts well and cuts it through the backward point region

2.0 - Umar Gul to Gayle, FOUR, full toss and timing would do, did not use a single muscle perhaps, just let the ball meet the willow and opened the face a touch to beat the two fielders stationed in the cover region, the ball raced away in a jiffy

0.1 - Anwar Ali to Gayle, FOUR, full and just outside off, the kind of juicy one Gayle would have wanted. Does not try to hit it too hard, caresses past mid-off for an easy four

18.4 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, SIX, and with the last two being tooo full, this one's being stuffed with lots of short length. Akmal stands tall and upper-cuts it over backward point. Hat-trick of sixes!

18.3 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, SIX, and another! What's with the full tosses? Lower this time on off, Akmal sinks lower and heaves it pancake-flat over long-on

18.2 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, SIX, full toss and it's like a rom-com movie. All predictable. Knee-high, Akmal bends his front knee a touch and clobbers it over deep mid-wicket

17.0 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, SIX, boom! Slower ball that bled. fuller in length, Akmal backs away, gets under it and thumps it over deep mid-wicket

10.3 - Babar to Gayle, SIX, he eats, sleeps and churns out sixes like a mill. And a full toss is like a Diwali bonus. Stays put, swings his bat and swings it over long-on

9.1 - Nabi to Azhar Ali, SIX, round the wicket and angling away from Ali, he is hardly bothered by that, goes deep in the crease and sinks on one knee, flogs it over the fielder at deep mid-wicket for a maximum

7.2 - Nabi to Azhar Ali, SIX, comes down the track and connects with the heave, the ball just carries over the fence at deep mid-wicket

4.3 - Babar to Gayle, SIX, when he is hitting good deliveries for sixes, why bowl a low full toss, dangles it full on his pads and Gayle clubs it wide of the fielder at long-on, who is a mere spectator on this occasion

4.2 - Babar to Gayle, SIX, quick hands, that will make McCullum proud, flatter delivery on the legs and Gayle flicks it over the deep mid-wicket region

3.2 - Umar Gul to Gayle, SIX, now Gul faces the wrath. Nothing wrong with the delivery, touch short and a little wide of off, Gayle fetches the pull from there and dispatches it out of sight, the next time the ball was spotted, it was deep into the stands at the deep mid-wicket

2.5 - Anwar Ali to Gayle, SIX, and another six, did not time it at all, but the big bat and bigger muscle does the job, slower delivery on off and Gayle tonked it over long-off

2.3 - Anwar Ali to Gayle, SIX, when you have got so much power, you do not need to transfer weight, this time it was full and Gayle just lofted it from the crease, the ball sailed well over the ropes at the long-off fence

15.2 - Elliott to Azhar Ali, out Caught by Anwar Ali!! The shot was on. Slower ball on a length and on the pads, the kind of balls that are butchered for the cricket dinner, Ali bends low and swipes it uppishly. Finds deep mid-wicket squatting to pouch that. End of a welcome innings from Ali. Azhar Ali c Anwar Ali b Elliott 61(45) [4s-7 6s-2]

10.4 - Babar to Gayle, out Caught by Ahmed Shehzad!! And you know what? Another Diwali bonus in a full toss avatar and he's gone paupers. Knee-high full toss and this should have seen the near empty stands. Gayle perhaps goes too hard, mistimes it and lobs a straight catch to long-on. The show's over. You may leave the theatre now. Gayle c Ahmed Shehzad b Babar 60(34) [4s-3 6s-6]

18.5 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, 1 run, a single of sanity to bring up his fifty off 23 balls. Second-fastest of the tournament. On the pads and he nudges it to mid-wicket

10.0 - Nabi to Gayle, 1 run, arm ball and Gayle does well, softly pats it in front of the cover fielder and sets off for a run

4.4 - Babar to Gayle, 1 run, to long on, fuller from Babar and he tries to go too hard, gets it off the toes of the bat to long-on for a single

20.0 - Zohaib Khan to Nabi, FOUR, Nabi has done it in style. Quetta Gladiators trickle home by 2 wickets. And that ball was what your grandmum will bowl to you. Wide, wide ball outside off, Nabi threw his bat at it and ended up slicing it over deep point! Protracted hands, fetched the ball and hammered it for a one-bounce four to nail a win

19.2 - Zohaib Khan to Nabi, FOUR, executes the full ball again but it's met with more class. Squeezed out for the bowler's head and it pierces the long-on and long-off boundary

18.2 - Dwayne Bravo to Nabi, FOUR, and another one! Slower one, Nabi wanted to glide it fine but eked out an outside edge that runs to the third man fence

15.2 - Ehsan Adil to Sarfraz, FOUR, to put it simply, Ehsan Adil is not having a good day. Followed Ahmed with a full ball down leg, Ahmed could still create room and drag it off the inside half to deep mid-wicket. Uppish and vrooms away

14.0 - Delport to Sangakkara, FOUR, neater than my mathematics paper at school. Creamed. Timed. And with that delicious and flowy loft down the ground, the fifty-run partnership comes up too. Just 32 balls

13.1 - Delport to Sangakkara, FOUR, deft. Leans in, opens the face of the bat late and steers it away wide of deep backward point

12.4 - K Cooper to Sangakkara, FOUR, this was a giftwrapped leg-side delivery. Back of a length down leg, Sangakkara rose higher and tucked it away through fine leg

11.5 - Zohaib Khan to Sangakkara, FOUR, verring down the leg-side, Sangakkara sinks low and sweeps it away through mid-wicket

11.1 - Zohaib Khan to Sarfraz, FOUR, uses his feet, reincarnates the ball into a full toss and whips it past mid-wicket for a boundary

6.4 - Delport to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, fifty for Khan , slower delivery and Khan drives it uppishly over the fielder at extra cover

6.1 - Delport to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, to deep backward point, the partnership between Bismillah Khan and Pietersen is now 53 runs, fuller length delivery and Khan opens the face of the bat on the cover drive to beat the fielder in the circle and the ball races away

4.5 - Dwayne Bravo to Pietersen, FOUR, that restores the parity, not a controlled pull but will fetch Pietersen four anyway. Short delivery and Pietersen pulls it away from the fielder at deep backward square leg

4.0 - K Cooper to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, this time he gets the blade to meet the steer on this back of a length delivery and the ball runs away to the third man fence

3.4 - K Cooper to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, take another one, length delivery and on off, Khan goes on the up on drive, does not time it but powerplay means that the fielders were in on the off-side and the ball rolls away to the deep cover fence

3.3 - K Cooper to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, wherever you bowl, he will hit, fuller length and on off, Khan presents the full face of the bat and lofts it over the bowler's head for another four. KP's aggresssion has rubbed into Khan

3.1 - K Cooper to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, leg-side seems Disneyland for the bowlers, everyone wants to go there, length delivery angling in and straying in line, Khan tucks it fine and the ball races away to the fine leg fence

3.0 - Ehsan Adil to Pietersen, FOUR, that is sheer pressure which made him bowl a half-volley on the legs of KP. He obliged and flicked it away from the fielder at short fine leg, 20 runs came off this over and that will mitigate the pain of losing Shehzad early in the innings

2.5 - Ehsan Adil to Pietersen, FOUR, this is how you grab the bull by its horn, short delivery and Pietersen whip-pulls it to get it past the fielder at short fine leg. Wasn't that wicket of Shehzad supposed to put pressure?

2.4 - Ehsan Adil to Pietersen, FOUR, hat-trick of fours from Pietersen, just a flick of the wrist on this fuller length delivery, keeps his head straight and beats the fielder at mid-on, who dived to his right

2.3 - Ehsan Adil to Pietersen, FOUR, and this time repeats the shot, just makes sure that he turned the bat a little too much to beat the fielder at short fine leg, amazing to see the same shot go in two different directions

2.2 - Ehsan Adil to Pietersen, FOUR, that is typical KP from Pietersen, moves across and covers the line of the delivery, whips it just over the fielder at mid-wicket, gets off the mark with a four

2.0 - Z Gohar to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, this is poor bowling from Gohar, he goes for 18 in this over, pitches it well short and Khan has no problems in cutting it through the backward point region

1.5 - Z Gohar to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, gets closer to the pitch of the delivery and wrists it away to beat the man at mid-on, the ball rolls all along the surface into the fence

1.4 - Z Gohar to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, short again and Khan decides not to keep it down, cuts it uppishly over the infield at cover and picks up an easy four

1.0 - Ehsan Adil to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, poor delivery and that will be the first boundary for Shehzad, goes back in the crease and pulls it well in front of mid-wicket, a controlled shot from Shehzad

0.3 - Ehsan Adil to Bismillah Khan, FOUR, straying on the pads of Khan and he whips it away towards deep backward sqaure leg, where the fielder put in a full-fledged dive to his left but could not get his fingers to it

19.3 - Zohaib Khan to Nabi, SIX, SIX! SIX! SIX! What did I mention about this match? Length ball has been assassinated. Swings his arms and flogs this ball over deep mid-wicket. Always looked like it would just drop inside the ropes but it overwhelmed to sail over

18.1 - Dwayne Bravo to Nabi, SIX, going...going...gone! Nabi hasn't given up. Full outside off, walks down the track and slices it over over deep extra cover

1.2 - Z Gohar to Bismillah Khan, SIX, he did not get enough bat on it, but still the ball sails over the fielder at deep mid-wicket, who for a moment was interested in it, tossed up delivery and Khan goes down on one knee and slogged it big

18.5 - Dwayne Bravo to Anwar Ali, out Caught by U Akmal!! Umar Akmal swoops in from nowhere and gobbles that up straight down the ground. Runs across from cow corner to pouch that. This looked like a well-timed loft but not much power. Dragged his back leg further back to propel the shot but couldn't get the distance. Anwar Ali c U Akmal b Dwayne Bravo 6(8)

17.3 - Ehsan Adil to Mohammad Nawaz, out Caught by Rizwan!! Someone's jumping in the corporate box and it has to be Lahore Qalandars's owner. Riches-to-Rags-to-Riches match for Ehsan Adil. Good length ball swinging away late, Nawaz swings across the line, manages a feather behind and the keeper snaffles it. Mohammad Nawaz c Rizwan b Ehsan Adil 0(2)

17.0 - K Cooper to Elliott, out Caught by Ehsan Adil!! And the match's turning. A flurry of wickets and Ehsan Adil has another victim, this time with a catch at short fine. Elliott bent low with a pick-up flick but placed it straight to Adil who wasn't sure about the catch. Had dived in front and wrapped his fingers over the ball. Replays, initially unclear, suggested that Adil had done a fine job and after millions of replays, the decision was ruled against Elliott. Elliott c Ehsan Adil b K Cooper 3(3)

16.0 - Ehsan Adil to Sangakkara, out Bowled!! Two in the over! How fortunes change. Wicket to start the innings, then a run-flood and then this over from Ehsan Adil, the man who started it all. Full on off, Sangakkara was late into his drive and the ball took the off stick down. Lots of deliberation over the no ball, Adil's found to be fine and finally Sangakkara walks back. Sangakkara b Ehsan Adil 37(26) [4s-4]

15.3 - Ehsan Adil to Sarfraz, out Bowled!! And Ehsan Adil's misery perhaps seems to be over. Wicket. Dry wash. Wicket. Sarfraz shuffled too far across to paddle the ball to fine leg, misses the straight delivery which cannons into the wood behind. Zing bails light up, Sarfraz falls and screams out a change in batting order as he walks back. Is there life in this match still? Sarfraz b Ehsan Adil 21(17) [4s-2]

8.5 - Dwayne Bravo to Bismillah Khan, out Caught by Rizwan!! Back to back wickets for Bravo, this time the bouncer does the trick. Khan follows KP into the pavilion, short delivery and Khan went for the pull, was in no position whatsoever, did not even transfer weight, the ball took a thick top edge and skied high, the keeper ran back to his left and stretched his arms to take it with ease. The fine leg was also running in but the keeper called in time to take it. Bismillah Khan c Rizwan b Dwayne Bravo 55(30) [4s-10 6s-1]

8.4 - Dwayne Bravo to Pietersen, out Caught by U Akmal!! Pace off the ball and that will take the pace off the game as well, slower delivery and Pietersen went early on the loft, the bat turned in his hands and it ballooned high towards the fielder at long-on, who did not have to move an inch to snaffle it. Pietersen c U Akmal b Dwayne Bravo 34(21) [4s-6]

2.1 - Ehsan Adil to Ahmed Shehzad, out Lbw!! Big appeal and Ahmed Shehzad is gone, length delivery and Shehzad moved way too across to work it into the on-side, missed it completely, the ball hit him on the knee roll and since he was deep in the crease, the umpire did not think the ball would have gone over the stumps. There was never a doubt about the line of the delivery, replays show it would have just clipped the bails. Ahmed Shehzad lbw b Ehsan Adil 4(2) [4s-1]
