19.5 - Dwayne Bravo to Najibullah, FOUR, that was surreal, more because the ball that was bowled to deny Zadran the room has been driven. through extra cover. Zadran was making room, Bravo followed him and Zadran outsmarted by making more room. Then used his hands to shave a drive through the off-side

19.1 - Dwayne Bravo to Najibullah, FOUR, what if I say that it's the wristiest sweep-pull I have seen? And what if it was a reverse sweep-pull? Sees a full toss down leg, winds up with his bat reversed and swipes it wide of backward point

17.2 - Dwayne Bravo to Najibullah, FOUR, *insert a bravery and luck quote*. A Bravo special off-cutter, rips away to take the outside edge as Zadran swings powerfully. Squirted to the third man fence

15.0 - Brathwaite to Nabi, FOUR, crisper than fries this. Just back of a length delivery outside off, pootling up giving Nabi enough time to swipe his blade and pull it over square leg. One bounce and it's history

12.5 - A Russell to Najibullah, FOUR, leg-stump half-volleys are fun. Ask Zadran. Just turned around, got a toe-end and it raced away to the fine leg fence

2.5 - Brathwaite to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, short ball and Shahzad swivels inside the line before helping himself to a pull past short fine leg

2.3 - Brathwaite to Mohammad Shahzad, FOUR, now Shahzad unloads. He's waited long enough. All of 6 balls. Takes a couple of steps down and heaves a length ball over mid-wicket

0.5 - A Russell to Usman Ghani, FOUR, that's a flat-batted whack straight back down the ground. Gives the charge, finds the length being shortened but he isn't deterred. Has a heave-ho at it and thumps it over Russell. Enough to clear the infield

19.0 - A Russell to Rashid Khan, SIX, that's mighty. Rashid Khan is facing his first ball and see what he does. Stays back to this full length delivery and smokes it over Russell's head

15.2 - Sammy to Najibullah, SIX, that's been packaged, stamped and couriered to downtown! Looped up delivery from Sammy, dipped in front of Zadran's shimmy but it found the middle and sailed away courtesy a clobber

9.2 - Badree to Stanikzai, SIX, that's huge. Picks the googly like a hawk, puts his skates on and flushes it into the long-on drains

4.0 - Benn to Mohammad Shahzad, SIX, down the track comes Shahzad, right to the pitch, and sends it soaring over the sightscreen with a big swing through the line. He doesn't bother to follow the trajectory of the ball as it disappears over Benn, instead looking down on the pitch

18.1 - A Russell to Shafiqullah, out Caught by Andre Fletcher!! That looked headed to the old Nagpur stadium but it was more into the stratosphere. Full delivery, Shafiq made room and swung. Just swung. Got under it too well in the end as he could only manage height on this. Deep mid-wicket settles under this skier and latches onto it sanely. Shafiqullah c Andre Fletcher b A Russell 4(4)

16.3 - A Russell to Nabi, out Caught by Samuels!! Superman vs Batman? It's Superman and Batman here at Nagpur. Low full toss, Nabi flat-batted it with all his might and then rest will be into the comics. Sammy puts on a jet pack at short-cover, dives mid air and tips the ball towards mid-off, where Samuels has the easiest of grabs to take. Lovely tag-team work and a full toss fetches a wicket. Nabi c Samuels b A Russell 9(8) [4s-1]

11.5 - Sammy to Naib, out Caught by Dwayne Bravo!! Two-in-two for long-on. It's in fashion. Sammy bowls it slow, slower and slowest. This was the slowest ball dished out full on off, Naib went for the ambitious cross-batted mow, put in lot of power but the lack of pace meant that it was spooned straight into the hands of Bravo. Naib c Dwayne Bravo b Sammy 8(14)

10.2 - Benn to Shenwari, out Caught by Sammy!! That's self-service...for your own demise. That's overdoing a Good Samaritan. Looped up outside off, Shenwari cheekily opens the bat face trying to run one down, doesn't spot the slip fielder(?) who flung to his right to grab that one-handed. Tame way to go. Shenwari c Sammy b Benn 1(3)

9.3 - Badree to Stanikzai, out Caught by Dwayne Bravo!! Oh my. Overambition. Tries to go big again and perishes. Charges down, the ball doesn't rip back in for him to connect and he drags it off the inner half. Lots of power into the shot meant that it carries..only as far as long-on. Stanikzai c Dwayne Bravo b Badree 16(22) [6s-1]

6.0 - Badree to Mohammad Shahzad, out Caught by Benn!! Shehzad had to go. Badree was frustrating him and you could feel him getting twitchy. Hurls down the track, and doesn't concede defeat despite Badree shortening his length. Tries to forehand it over mid-off, gets it high on the bat and spoons a simple catch to Benn. Mohammad Shahzad c Benn b Badree 24(22) [4s-2 6s-1]

1.5 - Badree to Usman Ghani, out Bowled!! Now this one's definitely the googly. Ghani has not picked it at all, and aims to drive it through the covers assuming he is playing with the turn. He leaves a big gap between bat and pad in the process and the ball snakes through it to rattle off and middle. So his eventful 6-ball stay comes to an end. Usman Ghani b Badree 4(6) [4s-1]

9.4 - Shenwari to Dwayne Bravo, FOUR, that's what he does so well. In fact that's what all West Indians do so well. They don't go into a shell. A bad ball comes along and they put it away. Shenwari drags it down and Bravo is quick to make good on it. Jumps back and slots a pull wide of deep mid-wicket who can't get there despite stretching his hand out to its fullest

6.1 - Rashid Khan to Samuels, FOUR, shocking long-hop first ball from Rashid and is butchered wide of deep mid-wicket with a blistering pull

5.1 - Hamid to Charles, FOUR, slower short ball but it's misdirected towards leg, and Charles simply swivels and pulls it past short fine leg

4.2 - Amir Hamza to Andre Fletcher, FOUR, that's an outrageous drive from Fletcher. Not that the ball was tossed up or anything. Nor was it full. He just cleared his front leg and muscled it past mid-off with a flat-batted smack

3.2 - Hamid to Andre Fletcher, FOUR, what a reply. That's a classic from Fletcher. There isn't a lot of width but he just slides towards leg to create his own and cuts it tremendously behind backward point

18.5 - Naib to Brathwaite, SIX, Carlos Brathwaite, wow. Another biff and it's outta the park. Shahzad is on his haunches. Full toss on middle and leg and Brathwaite pummels it with a brutal smite

18.2 - Naib to Brathwaite, SIX, oh he's done it again. He's done it again. Carlos Brathwaite just walks out and thumps sixes in pressure situations. He knocked the wind out of South Africa in their final over. And now again. Naib misses with a wide yorker, by around six inches, and is clobbered with a ruthless swing over long-off

13.0 - Rashid Khan to Dwayne Bravo, SIX, shortish on the stumps and Bravo has pulled it emphatically over wide long-on. Lots of height on it, and the distance as well

1.5 - Nabi to Charles, SIX, butchered! Gets low, gets under this flighted delivery and nails it over cow corner

1.1 - Nabi to Charles, SIX, gets a bit of flight on this and Charles smokes it over deep mid-wicket

19.3 - Nabi to Brathwaite, out Caught by Najibullah!! It's a full toss. It's Brathwaite's supper. And he has heaved it in the air. Oh wait. Why is the deep mid-wicket fielder running across? It's coming down, the ball is coming down and Najib has plucked off a brilliant running catch. He tumbles and tumbles on the turf almost like soaking in the glory. Brathwaite c Najibullah b Nabi 13(8) [6s-2]

18.4 - Naib to Sammy, out Caught by Shenwari!! And Naib hits back. The West Indian captain is gone. Full and wide ball outside off, Sammy reaches out looking to loft it inside out, and picks out the man at deep cover. This match keeps swinging. And so do the celebrations from Afghanistan. Sammy c Shenwari b Naib 6(10)

17.3 - Shenwari to A Russell, out A Russell Run Out!! 1 run completed! This is chaos. Sheer chaos. "The thing about chaos is that, it's fair". I'm drifting into Batman mode as West Indies need a saviour. Firstly, it's an excellent ball from Shenwari after seeing Russell charge at him, fired it well wide outside off. Then Russell did well to stretch out and squeeze it through the covers. Sammy has settled for the single, but Russell is scampering down the pitch for a second. The throw is at the keeper's end and you'd think the chance is gone. Na, na, na. Not when the keeper is Shahzad. He collects and fires the stumps down at the non-striker's end to catch him short despite a dive. A Russell run out (Rashid Khan/Mohammad Shahzad) 7(9)

16.0 - Rashid Khan to Ramdin, out Stumped!! Brilliant from the 17-year old. What composure in this pot-boiler. Tosses the googly wider after seeing Ramdin charge at him. Makes him reach out for the slog and then gets it to snake back in past the inside edge for an easy stumping. Look at the cheek he's got! Celebrates by doing a jig from Bravo's "Champion" track. Ramdin st Mohammad Shahzad b Rashid Khan 18(24)

14.0 - Nabi to Dwayne Bravo, out Lbw!! Afghanistan have broken through this partnership to liven things up once again. Nabi tosses it up just outside off, and Bravo plants his foot across and plays round his front pad looking to flick it away. He misses and is hit right in front of off. Dwayne Bravo lbw b Nabi 28(29) [4s-1 6s-1]

6.2 - Rashid Khan to Samuels, out Bowled!! Three down now. Effectively four down? Rashid has completely made a fool out of Samuels with this googly. Slipped it in short on off, and Samuels was looking for a square cut thinking it will spin away. To his bemusement, shock rather, it snaked in, went right through him and knocked over the top of leg. Samuels b Rashid Khan 5(5) [4s-1]

5.3 - Hamid to Charles, out Bowled!! Oh. The off-stump has taken an absolute pounding. Such pace from Hamid. Skids on deceptively from a back of a length and skids past Charles attempted chop towards off. Actually, it might have deflected off the outside edge. Not a very smart shot after being deprived for room. Had absolutely no width to work with. Charles b Hamid 22(15) [4s-1 6s-2]

2.3 - Amir Hamza to Lewis, out Caught by Rashid Khan!! Lewis's debut - a much cherished, a much anticipated debut has turned into a horror one. He was strangled at the crease, went 6 balls without scoring and is forced into trying something out of the ordinary. Goes down on one knee and launches into an attempted slog sweep, skies it up off a thick top edge and is easily pouched at square leg. Lewis c Rashid Khan b Amir Hamza 0(7)
