Safyaan Sharif to Chigumbura, FOUR, this time, Chigumbura shuffles across and slogs this low full toss to the deep square leg boundary. Nice flow of hands from Chigumbura there

Alasdair Evans to Sean Williams, byes, FOUR, from round the wicket, Evans bowls a slower delivery and keeps it in the channel outside off, Williams aims to flay it to third man and is beaten. The keeper is a victim of low bounce. As a result, runs away for four byes

Davey to Sean Williams, FOUR, Williams posts his fifty with a well-connected shot. He raises his bat to acknowledge the crowd and his teammates. Shorter in length and begging to be hammered, Williams pulls it to the deep backward square leg fence
14.2 -
Mark Watt to M Waller, FOUR, lovely shot from Waller. Slower through the air and just outside off, Waller makes room and then uses the lofted drive to collect a boundary to the deep extra cover fence

M A Leask to Sean Williams, FOUR, drifting down leg, Williams sits on one knee and sweeps it to the deep square leg fence, where the fielder puts in a dive, but can't succeed in his endeavour

M A Leask to Sean Williams, FOUR, woof! Dar is down on the ground. Williams used the reverse sweep to a flatter delivery to perfection. Dar at backward point had to take evasive action. The fielder in the deep put in a dive, but to no avail

Mark Watt to Sean Williams, FOUR, from round the wicket, Watt bowls it slower through the air, Williams sinks on one knee, bends low and slog-sweeps it to the deep mid-wicket fence. He bisects two fielders in the deep to perfection. As he crouched low, he was able to play that stroke all along the ground
10.1 -
Alasdair Evans to Sean Williams, FOUR, shorter in length from round the wicket by the former Derbyshire seamer, Evans, Williams pulls it to deep backward square leg and it runs away to the fence. Nice connection from Williams

Davey to Sean Williams, FOUR, another one down leg and unlike his partner Williams takes full toll of it, helps it with a fine tickle down to fine leg, no need to run for those!

Safyaan Sharif to Mutumbami, FOUR, full toss outside off, Mutumbami says "Thank you" and bludgeons it back over the bowler's head. Sharif tried to get his hand but that was hit with some power
5.3 -
Safyaan Sharif to Mutumbami, FOUR, length ball and with not much pace off the track, Mutumbami has decided to create his own pace by advancing down the track. Goes for a flat-bat smite over mid-on and clears the fielder, jussssst. The fielder at mid-on leapt full length to his right, but it was just past him. Again focus on that word just

Alasdair Evans to Chigumbura, SIX, short of length delivery and just outside off, Chigumbura stays back and biffs it over deep extra for a maximum. He went deep in the crease and then muscled it all the way. Raw power from Chigu

M A Leask to Mutumbami, SIX, that's a bonzer! Flighted high and nice for Mutumbami, he drops to one knee and smokes it straight down the ground. Stand and admire stuff!

Safyaan Sharif to Chigumbura, out Caught by Mommsen!! Scotland have put in a good show today in the slog overs and they have restricted the opposition ranks to some extent. Low full toss and just outside off, Chigumbura clears his front leg and looks to bury it over the fielder at extra cover, but can't get the connection right. He gets it off the toe-end and Mommsen pouches the catch by leaping in the air. Chigumbura c Mommsen b Safyaan Sharif 20(17) [4s-1 6s-1]

Safyaan Sharif to Sean Williams, out Caught by Alasdair Evans!! The big fish has been chugged down. Williams walks back to the pavilion with a forlorn look on his face. Sharif bowled a full toss, but it was outside off, Williams aimed to lap it around the corner after shuffling across. However, as it was bowled outside off, Williams could not get enough wood on it. It hit high up on Williams's bat, too. Relatively easy catch at backward square leg for Evans. The idea was right as there were only two fielders inside the circle, but not the execution. Sean Williams c Alasdair Evans b Safyaan Sharif 53(36) [4s-6]

Mark Watt to M Waller, out Caught by M A Leask!! Well, what a shame this is. Waller was going well, but he has thrown it away. Slightly shorter in length, Waller aims to play the lofted stroke, but toe-ends it to Leask at long-off, who takes a few steps forward and snaffles it with both hands. The batsman also closed his bat face too early. M Waller c M A Leask b Mark Watt 13(13) [4s-1]

Alasdair Evans to S Raza, out Bowled!! Well, that is a rather curious dismissal. Fuller length delivery and on off-stump, Raza aims to go for the big shot through the off-side with cemented feet and connects thin air. It flicked the bail of the off-stump. It was a cross-seamer from Evans and it might have just moved away off the seam. Evans is delighted with that scalp. One of Evans's strengths in County circles was to bowl a stump-to-stump line. He is showcasing that today. S Raza b Alasdair Evans 9(9) [4s-1]

Mark Watt to Mutumbami, out Caught by M A Leask!! Another YouTube moment ladies and gentlemen. If yesterday's catch in that Oman vs Ireland game was better, this was the best - According to me. This was floated up nicely and Mutumbami was enticed by the drift, he wanted to go for a biggie over long-off. Got the power but not the distance. Smashes it straight towards long-off. Now then! Here is the main part: The fielder had it covered for a fleeting moment. Ran to his right and went for a reverse cup above his head - seemed a little causal in that approach and hence the ball bursts through his fingers. Leask, however, was very quick to recover, leaps high and engulfs the ball with his right hand - All in one motion. His head wasn't quite still while doing so but jeez! How did he manage to cling onto that? Absolute screamer! Mutumbami c M A Leask b Mark Watt 19(17) [4s-2 6s-1]

Alasdair Evans to Sibanda, out Caught by Machan!! Spare a thought for Vusi Sibanda. The second ball he faced after that horrid collision, he picks out the fielder to perfection. It was (cross-seam delivery) short and angled in at the batsman, Sibanda was trying to help it away with a pull. Swivelled and timed the shot but couldn't have picked the fielder any better. Machan at deep backward square leg stays low and snaffles it. Good low catch that. Sibanda c Machan b Alasdair Evans 4(12)

Mark Watt to Sibanda, out H Masakadza Run Out!! Two in two for Masakadza. He has run himself out again. Yet again school-boy esque. Sibanda backed away and cut this shortish ball to cover-point where the fielder ran to his right and dived full length. The batsmen rammed into each other. Absolutely mindless running. None of them are watching each other. Collided into each other and can someone feel the pain Sibanda is going through? He is on the floor. Getting some medical attention. Looks like he might go off. Coming back to the run-out, by the time the batsmen recovered the throw was rifled at the keeper's end who catches Masakadza short. Masakadza's left shoulder slammed into Sibanda's chin. He's got a cut on his chin now and that area is being sealed by a white plaster. Both batsmen lost their bats during the collision and still ran through - Good committment. H Masakadza run out (Coetzer/Matthew Cross) 12(10) [4s-3]

Alasdair Evans to Sean Williams, 1 run, Sharif at short fine leg has put down a tough chance. Williams lap sweeps it to short fine, but the ball kept running away from Sharif. He ran backwards and tried to take the catch with his right-hand above his head, but these catches either stick or dont. It did not stick, this time around
