5.3 - Aamer Yamin to Chibhabha, FOUR, Chibhabha on the charge. Takes a couple of strides down the pitch making room while doing so, it was a back of a length delivery outside off, Chibhabha slaps it through cover all along the carpet

4.5 - Irfan to H Masakadza, FOUR, I just realized that he wasn't off the mark even before this delivery. 14 balls of patience is followed by a waft down the ground. It was there to be hit in all honesty. Overpitched around off stump, Masakadza clears his front leg and smashes it straight of mid-off, was in the air and cleared the infield easily

He gave away the plan way too early, shuffled across and was looking to go over short fine. Yamin spotted it and bowled the slower bouncer, Raza's shot went awry and he ended up gloving the pull. 48.3 - Riaz to Chigumbura, out Hit Wkt!! That's a strange way to get dismissed! A first for Chigumbura? This was full and well outside off, Chigumbura was camping deep inside his crease, looked to follow the ball and smash it over extra cover, he was so deep that the bat hit the stumps even before he could get towards the ball. 42.3 - Riaz to Chibhabha, out Caught by Sarfraz Ahmed!! Edged and caught! Chibhabha falls in the nineties once again against Pakistan. This was a teasing delivery from Riaz, full and wide outside off, looking to lure Chibhabha into the drive. Chibhabha can't resist and went chasing after that, gets a thick edge that is well held by Sarfraz - diving across to his right, got to it with both hands and was never dropping it. 30.5 - Riaz to Sean Williams, out Caught by Hafeez!! Williams' poor form continues as he loses his wicket. Perhaps Williams was expecting a bouncer and as a result, hung back in the crease to a back of a length delivery, pushes at it and gets an outside edge to the fielder at 1st slip. 28.5 - Irfan to Chari, out Caught by Hafeez!! Irfan gets the reward for some incisive bowling. He surprises Chari by hitting a fuller length and angles it away from the right-hander. Chari was perhaps thinking of playing this delivery from the back foot, so in the end, comes half-forward and gets an outside edge to the fielder at 1st slip, who takes the catch with a touch of calm countenace. 7.4 - Riaz to H Masakadza, out Caught by Irfan!! Irfan made it look so simple, those giant hands absolutely engulfed the ball. Well, I am afraid the pattern so far of the Zimbabwean innings has been uncannily similar to their previous match. Taking a lot of time early on only to throw it away. Banged in halfway by Riaz, it was angling away outside off, Masakadza is hurried in his pull and only manages a thick top-edge. The ball swirls in the air on it's way to fine leg and holds up in the atmosphere. No problem for Irfan. H Masakadza c Irfan b Riaz 7(22) [4s-1]

24.2 - Azhar Ali to Chibhabha, 1 run, dropped, that wasn't a tough one though, Chibhabha drives this full delivery to the left of the bowler who tries to grab it with both hands, spills it in the end. He was too quick onto to latch the ball and was undone by the pace of the shot

45.4 - Irfan to Chigumbura, 1 run, another full toss from Irfan, Chigumbura runs it down towards third man and raises his 19th ODI fifty, gets a good round of applause from the balcony

21.3 - Bilal Asif to Chibhabha, 1 run, well played Chibhabha! Reaches his fifty with a clip wide of mid-on (on the walk). That's his 14th ODI fifty

47.0 - Panyangara to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, this is an absolute hara-kiri from Zimbabwe, poor fielding first and now to add insult to injury they keep bowling lollypop (sort of) deliveries. Full and wide, Malik sinks low and slices the drive over backward point, with that he gets into nineties

45.4 - Luke Jongwe to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, things are getting worse for the hosts. Luke Jongwe bowls a juicy length delivery on the stumps, Malik makes room slightly and lofts it over extra-cover, no protection in the deep and it raced away

45.1 - Luke Jongwe to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, Luke Jongwe yells out a loud cry as soon as he finished the delivery stride, he knows that's a rank long hop - short and ample width on offer, Malik flays it over backward point with a flashy cut. No one in the deep which means Malik moves into the eighties

31.3 - John Nyumbu to Aamer Yamin, FOUR, fired on leg stump, Yamin gets down on one knee and deliberately lifts the pull behind square. Panyangara, at deep backward square hurtles forward towards it, fair play to him as he went for the catch diving forward but is unable to get to it

29.1 - John Nyumbu to Aamer Yamin, 4 wides, not very clever from Yamin and he should thank his stars for getting away with this. Came down way too early and Nyumbu fired it down the leg side. Yamin is caught off guard and tries to manufacture a rushed sweep. Misses but so does the keeper, short fine leg hunts it down and saves a run

28.3 - Chibhabha to Aamer Yamin, FOUR, this lad can bat. Many of his strokes have been in the V as far as I can remember. Pitched up around off stump, Yamin just clears his front leg to let the bat come down nice and straight. Lofts it through the line just over a leaping mid-off

26.2 - Luke Jongwe to Aamer Yamin, FOUR, now we are talking. Pakistan need many more of these if they are to even entertain thoughts of pulling off a heist. Fuller length delivery just outside off, Yamin nicely leans forward and plays the lofted drive down the ground, with mid-off up in the ring. His back foot lifted elegantly while playing the shot

23.4 - Cremer to Aamer Yamin, FOUR, Cremer is in serious trouble here. Looks to have twisted his ankle after landing awkwardly. He is limping off the field with the physio. Coming to the ball, it was a nicely flighted leg-break on the stumps, Yamin is drawn out of his crease in looking to launch it down the ground. Doesn't get a very clean connection but enough to clear mid-off who was up in the ring. Cremer leapt with the shot perhaps as a reflex, and then landed very awkwardly on his left foot

20.3 - Sean Williams to Rizwan, FOUR, risky but Rizwan gets the desired result. Gets forward slightly and drives it airliy to the right of a diving mid-off, ball eludes the fielder by a considerable margin and finds its way onto the fence

19.3 - Chibhabha to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, Malik loves it there - full and straight. He dispatches it with a lovely-looking straight drive that goes past the non-striker, no need to run for those

19.1 - Chibhabha to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, you can't bowl there - on the pads. Malik clears his front leg and whips it wide of mid-wicket, places it in the gap which means - save your legs (the fielder chases but in vain)

17.2 - Chibhabha to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, width on offer - what more does a batsman need? Cuts firmly and to aggravate matters there is a terrible misfield at backward point - which implies a simple boundary

9.1 - Luke Jongwe to Hafeez, FOUR, very full, Hafeez plays the wristy flick and ball creams the turf on its way to the mid-wicket fence

9.0 - Panyangara to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, that shot was worth all the wait, you'd have to say. Overpitched but you still had to put that away. Malik leans in and drives it straight past the bowler to get started, hopefully

6.3 - Panyangara to Hafeez, FOUR, length delivery wide of off, Hafeez wanted to guide it to third man, manages to outside-edge it behind, the ball bounces on its way to the keeper, misses him and reaches the fence

5.0 - Panyangara to Hafeez, FOUR, very full on middle, Hafeez backs away a touch and clips it in the air, the ball travels periliously close to the fielder at mid-wicket, runs away to the fence

3.5 - Luke Jongwe to Hafeez, FOUR, that's smooth. Luke Jongwe overpitches, Hafeez leans forward and creams the drive through cover for a welcome boundary

1.0 - Panyangara to Hafeez, FOUR, very full delivery on middle, Hafeez transfers his weight on the back foot, and just clips it nicely through deep mid-wicket for four sublime runs

36.5 - Sean Williams to Aamer Yamin, SIX, Yamin continues to play with a touch of bravado. He goes down on one knee and pulls this over fine leg for a six. The fielder in the deep jumps and tries to take the catch, but to no avail

36.0 - John Nyumbu to Aamer Yamin, SIX, Yamin composes his maiden fifty with a glorious hit. He uses his feet to this tossed up delivery, gets close to the pitch of the ball and lofts it over long-on for a six. One can only marvel at the exhibition of craft on view here

33.0 - Chibhabha to Shoaib Malik, SIX, woah! What a hit. What a way to get to you fifty, his 34th in ODIs. Off-cutter on a length on off and middle, Malik picks it early, gets into position and clobbers the slog-sweep over cow corner

30.1 - Chibhabha to Aamer Yamin, SIX, and it disappears. You never know, such moments can be match defining. On a length and in the slot to be whacked, Yamin gives it the full monty in his slog and gets a nice chunk of it. Making matters worse, the fielder, who had stationed himself on the deep mid-wicket boundary lets it burst through his hands on the reverse cup

25.5 - John Nyumbu to Aamer Yamin, SIX, way to go Yamin! He has cleared the longest part of the ground wide of long-on with a monster hit. Nyumbu had give this one a lot of air drifting across off, Yamin is down in a jiffy and smokes it with the turn. The fielder at long-on sprints across the circumference and puts in a desperate dive with his right hand outstretched. Turns to be futile

41.5 - Chigumbura to Riaz, out Riaz Run Out!! Excellent work from Chigumbura has done the trick for Zimbabwe. It was a back of a length delivery from Chigumbura that angled back into the right-hander, Riaz tried to dab it, got an inside edge onto the pad. However, he still thought of stealing a single. Unfortunately for him his partner sent him back, Chigumbura, with athletic strides ran down the pitch. As a result, Riaz had to make his way back to the striker's end. Chigumbura got to the ball quickly and flicked an under-arm throw at the stumps and the batsman is short of the crease. Riaz run out (Chigumbura) 3(8)

39.5 - Chigumbura to Aamer Yamin, out Caught by Mutumbami!! Zimbabwe are ecstatic as the dangerous Yamin is out. It was a short delivery that was going down the leg-side from Chigumbura, Yamin tried to pull, but can't get it anywere near the middle off the bat and it turns out to be a strangle down the the leg-side. The keeper showed good reflexes by moving to his left to take the catch. Zimbabwe desperately needed that scalp. The credit has to go to Yamin as he underpinned the rare qualities of self-belief and skill to play a fine knock. Aamer Yamin c Mutumbami b Chigumbura 62(68) [4s-5 6s-4]

21.2 - Cremer to Rizwan, out Caught by John Nyumbu!! How is that done John Nyumbu? That's a blinder and guess what the ball is travelling. Rizwan can't believe it. This was a flighted delivery spinning away just outside off, Rizwan waits on the back foot and steers it late (hoping it goes well wide of the lone slip fielder). Nyumbu anticipates and moves to his right, grabs a well-judged catch and makes it look so easy. Rizwan c John Nyumbu b Cremer 8(10) [4s-1]

17.5 - Chibhabha to Sarfraz Ahmed, out Caught by Sean Williams!! What is happening out there? Sarfraz is the latest to walk back to the hut, he does so with a grim face. Nothing delivery this from Chibhabha, on a length and just outside off, Sarfraz looks to defend, but ends up checking his shot at the last instant. Ball lobs straight to the man at extra cover who pouches it safely - with both hands. Meanwhile, Chibhabha is having a dream day, first with the bat and now with the ball. 14.0 - Chibhabha to Hafeez, out Hafeez Run Out!! Hugeeee mix-up and Zimbabwe have got a big wicket. The Zimbabweans are elated. Pakistan 40/4! Short of a length delivery on the off stump, Hafeez goes on the back foot and tucks it to the right of mid-wicket, the fielder dives full length to his right and saves, Hafeez rushes for a single, his partner responds and then turns his back, Hafeez was halfway down the pitch and had no chance of getting back in time. 5.3 - Luke Jongwe to Shafiq, out Caught by Mutumbami!! If there was ever a Christmas for Zimbabwe, it seems that it is today. Pitched up delivery swinging away wide outside off, Shafiq is on his knees as he slashes at it hard, the ball flies off the outside edge and keeper completes a simple catch behind. 2.4 - Panyangara to Azhar Ali, out Bowled!! Two wickets down so early and both the openers are back in the hut. This was a length delivery that nipped back in a touch, the batsman was well forward as he pushed at it away from his body, he cannot cover for the sharp movement, the ball takes the inside edge to sneak between the bat-pad gap, the middle pole is ruthlessly knocked over. 30.5 - Chibhabha to Shoaib Malik, no run, oh dear me. If Zimbabwe go on to lose this, they would look back on the madness of the last fifteen minutes. Short and wide of off, Malik nails the cut after bending his knee slightly, was in the air and straight to Mutombodzi at backward point. The ball just pops out after hitting the palms

Yes, in fact replays confirm that Masakadza did get his right hand to it on the dive. Fuller length delivery outside off, Yamin is lured into the drive but only manages an outside edge. A tough chance but goes down

46.5 - Panyangara to Yasir Shah, 1 run, full and a hint of width on offer, Yasir drives firmly to cover and hustles across for a quick single. The fielder fires a direct hit at the bowler's end and misses, had that hit - Yasir was out by a long way
