Starc to K Jadhav, FOUR, Starc goes round the wicket, bowls a full toss outside off, Jadhav says thank you very much and puts it away, he reaches out, opens the face of the bat and steers it behind point, no chance for third man
14.2 -
Starc to K Jadhav, FOUR, superb shot! Pitched up delivery outside off, Jadhav doesn't move his feet much, takes half a step and drives it to deep extra cover. The man in the deep was very square and had no chance of stopping that
13.3 -
Wiese to Coulter-Nile, FOUR, cracking shot! Short and wide outside off, it was asking for trouble and Coulter-Nile obliged, he stands tall and hammers it between extra cover and mid-off
10.1 -
Harshal Patel to K Jadhav, FOUR, poor delivery to start the second spell by Harshal Patel. Short and plenty of width on offer, Jadhav doesn't bother to get on top of the bouncer, cracks the cut over backward point and picks up a boundary
9.4 -
I Abdulla to K Jadhav, FOUR, that's cheeky from Jadhav, pushed through quicker and down leg-side, Jadhav goes down on his knees, uses the pace on the ball and laps it very fine for a timely boundary
3.4 -
Aaron to Duminy, FOUR, too short and leg-sidish from Aaron, Duminy swivels across and gets a bottom edge off the hip, beats Karthik and races away to the fence. That was once again bowled at 149kmph
2.4 -
Starc to Duminy, FOUR, lovely shot, this was a tad fuller and wider outside off, Duminy leans forward, covers for the swing, converts it into a half-volley and eases it through extra cover for a boundary
1.2 -
Aaron to M Agarwal, FOUR, fuller length delivery and just outside off, Agarwal pushes forward with an angled bat, gets a thickish inside edge that goes past mid-wicket, the fast outfield takes care of the rest
4.0 -
Aaron to M Agarwal, SIX, Agarwal doesn't shy away from playing his shots, this was short and just outside off, Agarwal was late on the pull, gets a fat top-edge that sails over the long-leg fence for a maximum
18.2 -
Wiese to Joseph, out Joseph Run Out!! That just sums up DEL's innings. Slower delivery around off, Joseph pushes it towards backward point and takes a step out of the crease, Gayle fires a throw at the striker's end, the man backing up lets the ball go past him and the batsmen go for the run, ABD comes across from deep mid-wicket and hits the bulls-eye at the bowler's end, Joseph didn't expect the throw to come to his end, but it did and he was nowhere in the picture. Joseph run out (de Villiers) 1(3)
17.3 -
Harshal Patel to K Jadhav, out Caught by Starc!! Would you believe it? It was a half tracker and Jadhav finds the fielder. The slower delivery that is dragged short, Jadhav had all the time in the world to pick his spot, he would have hit it anywhere, instead he pulls it straight to deep mid-wicket, Starc takes a simple catch. DEL might not complete their quota of overs. K Jadhav c Starc b Harshal Patel 33(29) [4s-4]
16.3 -
Starc to S Nadeem, out Bowled!! This is just too good for the DEL tailenders. Harsh Bhogle says, "He knocks over the tail for fun." Another yorker speared in on off-stump, Nadeem can't get his bat down in time to keep it out, the ball his the base of off-stump. S Nadeem b Starc 2(7)
15.0 -
Starc to Mishra, out Bowled!! Castled! Starc does what he was brought in to do, that is take a wicket. This was just too good for the leg-spinner. A yorker from Starc, Mishra is beaten by the pace on the ball, he missed it completely and the ball crashes into off-stump. Mishra b Starc 2(4)
13.4 -
Wiese to Coulter-Nile, out Lbw!! Wiese has his man. DEL's innings going nowhere. It was cleverly bowled by the South African, the slower delivery on the stumps, Coulter-Nile takes a step forward and goes for the hoick towards cow corner, he missed and the ball hit the back leg. It is as plumb as you can get. Easy decision for umpire Ravi. Coulter-Nile lbw b Wiese 4(8) [4s-1]
12.1 -
I Abdulla to M Agarwal, out Stumped!! DEL slip further. They have now lost half their side. Agarwal was trying to up the ante and perished. Well flighted delivery just outside off, Agarwal shimmies down the wicket and looks to go big, misses and DK does the rest behind the stumps. Agarwal looked at the wicket after being dismissed indicating that the ball kept low. In fact, it did stay low and went under his bat. M Agarwal st D Karthik b I Abdulla 27(34) [4s-1 6s-1]
6.3 -
Aaron to Mathews, out Caught by de Villiers!! Aaron is on a hat-trick! This is sensational bowling from the BLR speedster. This was banged in short and on Mathews' hips, Mathews was shuffling across on the flick, gets into an awkward tangle, ends up getting a loopy edge on the shot. AB moves across to his right from mid-wicket and takes the dolly. DEL are in serious trouble now. Mathews c de Villiers b Aaron 0(1)
6.2 -
Aaron to Yuvraj, out Caught by D Karthik!! Edged and caught! Another failure for Yuvraj, this was short of a length and nipped away at pace, Yuvraj went poking with an angled blade, gets a thick edge and is well snaffled by Karthik. BLR celebrate, they have now nipped out the top three batsmen of DEL. First wicket for Aaron. Yuvraj c D Karthik b Aaron 2(5)
5.2 -
Wiese to Duminy, out Caught by D Karthik!! Wiese has dismissed his fellow South African. A loose shot from Duminy, this was on a good length and angled away from the left-hander, Duminy had a loose waft at that, gets a bottom edge through to the keeper. Karthik started celebrating, so did the bowler. Duminy knew he had edged it, walks away even before the umpire raised his finger. Duminy c D Karthik b Wiese 13(14) [4s-2]
0.5 -
Starc to Shreyas Iyer, out Lbw!! That's a cracking inswinging yorker, Iyer didn't have any idea about that. This was pitched up and nipped back in sharply, Iyer was caught across on the shuffle, misses and is struck plumb in front of middle. The ball was going on to crash into middle and leg. Simple call for umpire Erasmus. DEL have lost their in-form opener. Replays suggest that the ball might have just done a bit too much. Hit Iyer in front of leg-stump, was it going down? Looked good on first view though. Shreyas Iyer lbw b Starc 0(1)
13.1 -
Wiese to K Jadhav, 1 run, miscommunication between the two batsmen and a run-out chance goes begging. Slower delivery on off, Jadhav walks across the stumps, nurdled it to the left of short fine leg, Coulter-Nile was almost near the striker's end before being sent back. Aaron fires a throw at the striker's end, instead of the bowler's end. Jadhav had made it in, even if the ball had hit. There was no one backing up and the duo eventually pick up a run, Sarfaraz did well at sweeper cover to stop the ball from reaching the boundary
1.1 -
Aaron to M Agarwal, no run, a direct hit might have sent Duminy packing! This was a back of a length delivery outside off, dabbed straight to Mandeep at backward point. Duminy set off for a quick single, he was more than half-way down the track before being sent back. Mandeep aims at the bowler's end and misses, Duminy was a goner
