18.0 - Coulter-Nile to Ashwin, FOUR, as always, Ashwin makes use of the pace on the ball. Short and wide outside off stump, Ashwin walks across the stumps and guides it past backward point and beats Tahir's chase at third man

13.4 - A Morkel to Dhoni, FOUR, that's a muscular pull shot from MSD. The length is just short enough for Dhoni to hang back and smash it along the ground through mid-wicket

12.1 - Duminy to du Plessis, FOUR, driven off the back foot after making some room, he hit in the air but hit it well over the man at cover. Good start to the over for du Plessis

9.0 - Tahir to Ravindra Jadeja, FOUR, edged and four! Unlucky for Tahir, this was the wrong 'un, Jadeja didn't spot it, he was looking to whip it against the spin, closed the face of the bat and gets a thick outside edge, past the lone slip and into the boundary

6.5 - Tahir to Dwayne Smith, FOUR, that's much better from Smith, this was tossed up and on the stumps, Smith gets forward and lofts it back over the bowler's head, ruins a good over from Tahir

5.2 - A Morkel to du Plessis, FOUR, lovely shot, fraction too short and just outside off, du Plessis makes room and cracks it in front of square on the off-side, no need to run for those

5.0 - Joseph to du Plessis, FOUR, lovely shot, a little shimmy down the track from Faf, gets to the pitch of the ball and goes over mid-off for a boundary

4.4 - Joseph to Dwayne Smith, FOUR, fraction short and just outside off, Smith presses forward and slogs it wide of mid-wicket, beats the fielder and races away to the fence

2.4 - Joseph to Dwayne Smith, FOUR, that's easy pickings for Smith, fraction short and just outside off, Smith swivels across and pulls it over mid-wicket for a boundary

2.1 - Joseph to Dwayne Smith, leg byes, FOUR, poor start from Joseph, his first ball in the Indian T20 League is on Smith's pads, he looks to flick and misses, the ball races away off the pads and past the keeper

1.1 - Coulter-Nile to Brendon McCullum, FOUR, edged and four, that will go down as a chance, but it's a tough one at first slip, on a good length and shaping back in, McCullum was early onto the flick, closed the face of the bat and gets a leading edge over 1st slip, Yuvraj leaps and the ball bursts through his hands

0.5 - A Morkel to Dwayne Smith, FOUR, fourth boundary of the over! Where was this Dwayne Smith in the World Cup? At least West Indies will be wondering. On a good length and well outside off, drilled past cover for another boundary

0.4 - A Morkel to Dwayne Smith, FOUR, lovely shot, fraction overpitched and on off, Smith leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and punches it back past the non-striker for another boundary

0.3 - A Morkel to Dwayne Smith, leg byes, FOUR, wrong line from Morkel, overcompensates and strays one onto Smith's pads, he looks to flick and misses, the ball races away off the pads and past the keeper for a boundary

0.2 - A Morkel to Dwayne Smith, FOUR, cracking shot, on a good length and well outside off, Smith leans into the drive, plays it on the up and caresses it past extra cover for a boundary

19.4 - Coulter-Nile to Dhoni, SIX, that's a one-handed hit from Dhoni. Full and in the slot, Dhoni goes for the loft, loses his bottom hand grip but the bat swing was very fast and it cleared long-on comfortably

19.3 - Coulter-Nile to Dhoni, SIX, this is a ridiculous shot from MSD. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, Dhoni was trying to pull, but he ends up slicing it, he wasn't in control but it sailed all the way over backward point. Remember the shot Maxwell hit in the World Cup against Pakistan?

11.2 - Mishra to Ravindra Jadeja, SIX, dancing shoes on again, this time he's close to the pitch of the ball as well and he lofts it high into the night sky, the ball sails over the long-on boundary for an 86-metre hit

19.5 - Coulter-Nile to Dhoni, out Caught by M Agarwal!! Short ball from round the wicket. Dhoni tries to pull, plays more of a tennis smash, the ball goes off the bottom of the bat and goes high up in the air, mid-off settles under it and takes it cleanly. Those two sixes from Dhoni could prove crucial! Dhoni c M Agarwal b Coulter-Nile 30(27) [4s-1 6s-2]

16.4 - Joseph to Dwayne Bravo, out Lbw!! Huge shout for LBW, umpire takes a long look and raises his finger. That looked absolutely plumb. Short of a length delivery on the stumps, probably the ball kept a bit low, Bravo jumped and tries to flick, missed and got hit above the knee roll, but the lack of bounce meant it was crashing into middle and leg. Timely wicket for DEL, Bravo could have got some quick runs at the end. Dwayne Bravo lbw b Joseph 1(3)

15.2 - Mishra to Ravindra Jadeja, out Stumped!! Easy stumping for the keeper. Googly from Mishra, Jadeja dances down the track and plays the slog, loses his shape and fails to meet the ball, he was a long way down the track and keeper had a long look before taking the bails off. Ravindra Jadeja st C Gautam b Mishra 17(18) [4s-1 6s-1]

12.2 - Duminy to du Plessis, out Caught by Shreyas Iyer!! "Catch it" is the cry and the fielder at long-off holds on to a wonderful catch. Iyer was close to the rope, but he did well not to step onto the boundary. du Plessis goes leg-side and goes for the lofted drive off the back foot again, doesn't get the distance, the fielder moves back and takes it with both hands above his head. He moves back a couple of steps but does well to stay inside the rope. du Plessis c Shreyas Iyer b Duminy 32(24) [4s-3]

8.1 - Tahir to Dwayne Smith, out Caught by Coulter-Nile!! Tame dismissal for Smith! Poor ball from Tahir, a real long hop, Smith rocked back on the pull, he was looking to clear mid-wicket, doesn't get hold of the shot and ends up finding Coulter-Nile in the deep, third wicket for Delhi and the fightback continues. Dwayne Smith c Coulter-Nile b Tahir 34(31) [4s-6]

4.0 - Coulter-Nile to Raina, out Bowled!! That's a huge blow from Coulter-Nile! Raina has been bowled - neck and crop. This was pitched up and held its line around leg, Raina was on the walk, gave himself room and was looking to hoick it over mid-wicket, misses and the leg-stump is pegged back. Delhi are fighting back after a poor start. Raina b Coulter-Nile 4(7)

1.2 - Coulter-Nile to Brendon McCullum, out Caught by Yuvraj!! No fireworks from Brendon McCullum! This was banged in short and on the stumps, McCullum charged down the track, gets cramped for room and ends up getting a top-edge on the pull. Yuvraj runs back from first slip and completes the catch, early strike from Coulter-Nile. The Delhi neeeded this. Brendon McCullum c Yuvraj b Coulter-Nile 4(2) [4s-1]

16.3 - Joseph to Dhoni, 1 run, short of length delivery outside off stump, Dhoni guides it to the left of backward point and sets off, Yuvraj Singh has a shy at the striker's end but misses. A direct-hit would have been curtains

20.0 - Dwayne Bravo to A Morkel, FOUR, ohh dear! Morkel hits a boundary, but the Delhi lose by a solitary run. Dhoni applauds the effort, but he knows the pain of the batsman as well. CHN win their first game and DEL will be very disappointed with this. Coming back to the ball, it was full and just outside off, Morkel lofts the drive inside-out over extra-cover but the ball bounces just before the rope

19.1 - Dwayne Bravo to A Morkel, FOUR, too much width on offer this time and Morkel goes hard at it. He gets a thick edge that runs away to the third man fence. Dhoni had no chance there

16.1 - Dwayne Bravo to A Morkel, FOUR, edged and four! As has been the case, Bravo starts off his new over with a short and wide one. Morkel slashes hard at it and gets a thick edge that flies over Dhoni and crashes into the third man fence

15.5 - I Pandey to Coulter-Nile, FOUR, Coulter-Nile has smashed the first ball for a boundary. That's a great way to start for the Australian. It was short and it sits up nicely for Coulter-Nile to pull it over mid-wicket for a boundary

13.5 - Mohit Sharma to Yuvraj, FOUR, Mohit Sharma, you can't bowl to Yuvraj there. It was on the pads and these are easy pickings for Yuvi, who just tickles it fine and the ball runs away to the fence in a hurry

11.3 - Ashwin to K Jadhav, FOUR, good shot from Jadhav, it wasn't all that short from Ashwin, but Jadhav did well to go back and he pulls it magnificently to the deep mid-wicket fence

10.1 - I Pandey to K Jadhav, FOUR, short, wide and asking to be hit, Jadhav stays back in the crease and cuts it uppishly past a diving backward point, the ball runs away to the fence in no time

9.4 - Ashwin to A Morkel, FOUR, that's lazy from Nehra in the deep, this was dropped short and just outside off, Morkel made room and cracked it in front of square. Nehra gets across from the deep, doesn't put in the dive and concedes a boundary

8.2 - I Pandey to A Morkel, FOUR, that's nicely played by Morkel, short and just outside off, Morkel makes room outside leg and dabs it very late, gets it fine and beats third man to the fence

6.1 - I Pandey to A Morkel, FOUR, that's a poor start from Pandey, full and wide outside off, Morkel throws his bat at that, gets a thick edge that races away past Dhoni and into the fence

4.1 - Nehra to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR, that should give Iyer some confidence, on a good length and well outside off, Iyer leans forward, plays with an open face and goes over extra cover. McCullum gives chase, but the ball beats him to the fence

4.0 - Mohit Sharma to A Morkel, FOUR, that's nicely played by Morkel, on a good length and well outside off, Morkel leans forward and caresses it past mid-off. Faf gives chase, but the ball wins the race

3.3 - Mohit Sharma to A Morkel, FOUR, too short from Mohit Sharma, can't bowl those at his pace, pulled away past mid-wicket for a boundary

2.5 - Nehra to M Agarwal, FOUR, Agarwal continues on his merry ways! On a good length and well outside off, slapped away past point for a boundary, played on the up and found the gap to perfection

0.4 - Nehra to M Agarwal, FOUR, lovely shot, on a good length and just outside off, Agarwal takes a step or two down the track, picks up the length early and whips it through mid-wicket for a boundary

19.4 - Dwayne Bravo to A Morkel, SIX, finally Morkel hits one out of the park! It was a back of a length delivery angling away outside off, Morkel waits for it, clears the front leg and hammers it over the cow corner fence. First clean strike from Morkel in this innings

1.5 - Mohit Sharma to M Agarwal, SIX, lovely shot, this was pitched up and held its line outside off, Agarwal leans forward, meets the ball on top of the bounce and lifts it over mid-off for a maximum

19.3 - Dwayne Bravo to Tahir, out Caught by Raina!! Tahir goes for the big one but holes out to Raina at deep mid-wicket. It was a short delivery from Bravo, Tahir went for the full-blooded pull, but he got more height than distance on it. Raina at deep mid-wicket runs forward, dives and completes a good catch. Tahir c Raina b Dwayne Bravo 2(2)

18.5 - Nehra to Mishra, wide, out Mishra Run Out!! A needless run-out for the Delhi. It was banged in short and went over Mishra's head as he was backing away. Morkel was running for the bye but Mishra just didn't pay heed to his partner as he was busy looking at the square leg umpire. He was a little too late to take off. Dhoni underhands the ball to Nehra and Nehra runs back and disturbs the stumps at the non-striker's end with another underhand throw. It was also called a wide. Mishra run out (Dhoni/Nehra) 4(4)

17.4 - Ashwin to Coulter-Nile, out Bowled!! Coulter-Nile has perished for the cause. It was a good slowish delivery from Ashwin, the off-spinner hits middle of middle as Coulter-Nile goes down on one knee and went for the big slog sweep. He missed it completely and Ashwin hits the timber. Coulter-Nile b Ashwin 5(4) [4s-1]

15.4 - I Pandey to Duminy, out Bowled!! Ohh dear! The Delhi have lost their captain now. It was another back of a length delivery just outside off, Duminy went for another dab down to third man, but this was very close to his body. He ends up getting an inside edge and drags it back on the stumps. Pandey is delighted and Duminy walks back dejected. Morkel is the key for the Delhi now. Duminy b I Pandey 5(5)

14.3 - Dwayne Bravo to Yuvraj, out Caught by I Pandey!! Bravo gets his dancing boots out as he has taken the wicket of the big fish. Yuvraj, who was controlling the pull so well in the last over plays a poor shot this time. It was a well directed short ball from Bravo, Yuvraj was in two minds whether to go after it or duck. In the end, he ends up playing a half-hearted forehand pull and ends up giving a catch to Pandey, who runs to his right from mid-wicket and takes it. Yuvraj c I Pandey b Dwayne Bravo 9(6) [4s-1]

13.1 - Mohit Sharma to K Jadhav, out Caught by Ravindra Jadeja!! Sharma strikes first ball after coming into the attack. It was not a great ball from him, but he will take this wicket. It was touch wide outside off, Jadhav made room and wanted to guide it down towards third man. Instead of doing that, he ends up hitting it uppishly and straight to Jadeja at backward point. Can't get an easier catch than that. K Jadhav c Ravindra Jadeja b Mohit Sharma 20(20) [4s-2]

5.0 - Nehra to Shreyas Iyer, out Caught by du Plessis!! Iyer has thrown it away! This was pitched up and just outside off, Iyer swings at that, doesn't get a decent connection, the ball goes high and towards mid-off. Faf keeps his eyes on the ball even as he backpedals and completes the catch, before tumbling onto the ground. Delhi are in familiar trouble now. Shreyas Iyer c du Plessis b Nehra 7(7) [4s-1]

3.0 - Nehra to M Agarwal, out Caught by Dhoni!! Edged and caught! Nehra has two wickets in his second over. This was full and wide outside off, the off-cutter from Nehra, he rolled his fingers around it, tempts Agarwal into the drive, he chases and gets a thick edge, safely taken by Dhoni. Not the start that the Delhi would have liked. M Agarwal c Dhoni b Nehra 15(12) [4s-2 6s-1]

2.3 - Nehra to C Gautam, out Caught by Dwayne Bravo!! Poor shot from Gautam! He never looked relaxed in the middle, this was pitched up and held its line outside off, Gautam was looking to go over mid-on with the punchy drive, doesn't get the height nor the elevation, straight to Bravo at mid-on. The celebrations start in the CHN camp, Nehra sends Gautam on his way with a kiss. C Gautam c Dwayne Bravo b Nehra 4(5)

18.5 - Nehra to A Morkel, 1 run, a direct-hit and Morkel would have been a goner! It was full and right in the slot, but Morkel can only drill it towards mid-off and sets off for the single. McCullum was quick to fire it at the stumps at the non-striker's end, but can't hit the stumps and Morkel survives

18.1 - Nehra to Mishra, 1 run, a direct-hit would have meant curtains for Mishra! It was a length delivery angling away outside off, Mishra opens the face of the bat and pushes it towards point and sets off, Jadeja takes his time and fires in the throw at the non-striker's end, Mishra was out by miles had that hit

16.5 - Dwayne Bravo to A Morkel, 2 runs, another mistimed pull helps Morkel get two and that brings up his fifty as well, it was a short one outside off from Bravo, Morkel went for the pull, but ends up dragging it towards mid-wicket, the batsmen come back for the second as the fielder was on the boundary
