Flighted delivery on the off stump, the ball is turning away slightly but Smith is not afraid to play across the line and he flicks it well over the infield for four

1.1 - Roach to S Marsh, FOUR, starts off with a freebie, this was a low full toss outside off, Marsh leans forward and drives it through extra cover, the ball runs away to the fence in no time

97.5 - J Holder to Haddin, SIX, that's a lovely hit from Haddin. Holder overpitches this outside off stump, Haddin waits for the ball to come and lofts it handsomely over mid-off, the ball hits the rope on the full. The umpires have a look at the replay and confirm that it is a maximum

64.4 - Permaul to Voges, SIX, great use of the feet! Voges comes dancing down the track to this flighted delivery just outside off, he lofts it through the line and the ball sails over the long-off fence

12.4 - Roach to Clarke, SIX, where did that come from? Clarke leans forward to this full delivery outside off, he lifts it through the line and the ball clears the rope quite easily

126.5 - Permaul to Hazlewood, out Caught by Blackwood!! Finally, Permaul gets his name into the wickets column. Australia are bowled for 399. Flighted delivery just outside off stump, Hazlewood advances and looks to go big, but mistimes it, long-on moves forward and takes a good low catch. Hazlewood c Blackwood b Permaul 24(58) [4s-2]

126.0 - Jerome Taylor to S Smith, out Lbw!! This is a sad end to a great innings. Smith falls one run short of a deserving double-hundred. It would have been the first double-hundred by an Australian outside Australia after Jason Gillespie's effort against Bangladesh in 2006, but it was not to be. What a ball from Jerome Taylor though. With the ball reversing a bit, he bowls this very full and swings it back into the right-hander, Smith picked it up very late and before he could dig it out, the ball sneaked under the bat and hit Smith on the boot in line with middle stump. Hawk-Eye showed that it would have crashed into the leg stump. End of a terrific innings from a top-class batsman. It's a six-wicket haul for Taylor and these are his career-best figures as well. S Smith lbw b Jerome Taylor 199(361) [4s-21 6s-2]

110.4 - J Holder to Starc, out Bowled!! Holder picks up his second wicket and gets his reward for some fine bowling. It was a tad fuller and just held its line to take out Starc's off-stump. Starc looked to flick, but was beaten by the movement. Starc b J Holder 6(28)

102.5 - Roach to Johnson, out Caught by Darren Bravo!! Roach takes his first wicket. Johnson looks to cut a back of a length delivery that was bowled outside off, gets a thick edge, Bravo at first slip takes a well-judged catch above his shoulder. Johnson c Darren Bravo b Roach 5(16) [4s-1]

98.5 - Jerome Taylor to Haddin, out Bowled!! Knocked him over. Fourth Test fifer for Taylor and it's his third in Jamaica. He is a happy man and why not. Fullish in length around off stump line, Haddin goes for the drive, but leaves a big bat-pad gap, the ball jags back in off the deck and sneaks through the gate to hit middle and leg stump. Haddin b Jerome Taylor 22(23) [4s-3 6s-1]

92.3 - Jerome Taylor to Watson, out Bowled!! Poor judgement from Watson. That was too close to leave and he perishes. Curtly Ambrose is a happy man in the dressing room. Nothing but good length delivery just outside off stump, Watson left it alone thinking it would swing away, but it came in with the angle and hit the top of off stump. That's wicket number four for Jerome Taylor and he continues to impress in this Test match. This is just the start West Indies wanted to the day. Can they work on this opening? Watson b Jerome Taylor 25(73) [4s-4]

68.3 - Jerome Taylor to Voges, out Caught by Ramdin!! Taylor gets his third wicket and it's Voges, the centurion from the last game, who is gone. It was full and well outside off, there was a hint of away movement as well. Voges goes for the drive, but can only manage an outside edge to Ramdin, who snaffles it with ease. Voges didn't even wait for the umpire to raise his finger and walked off. Voges c Ramdin b Jerome Taylor 37(81) [4s-5 6s-1]

39.0 - J Holder to Clarke, out Caught by Ramdin!! Holder gets the big wicket of Clarke. It was not a wicket-taking delivery but West Indies won't mind it one bit. This was bowled full and shapes away slightly from outside off, inviting the batsman to drive. Clarke obliged and went after it, ended up edging it to the keeper, who took the easiest of catches. Clarke c Ramdin b J Holder 47(107) [4s-4 6s-2]

5.0 - Jerome Taylor to S Marsh, out Lbw!! Taylor picks his second of the morning. This was full and swings back in sharply from outside off, Marsh comes across to work it through the on-side but the shape back in beats his blade and hits him low on the pad. There was a loud appeal and the umpire raised his finger immediately, much to the delight of the West Indians. It was bowled wide of the crease and would have gone on to hit the leg stump. S Marsh lbw b Jerome Taylor 11(15) [4s-1]

0.3 - Jerome Taylor to Warner, out Caught by Shai Hope!! Dream start for West Indies. The dangerous Warner is gone without troubling the scorers. The umpire checks for the front foot, but Taylor is fine on that count. This was a back of a length delivery outside off that just explodes off the pitch, Warner was surprised by the extra bounce on that, he looks to get out of the way, but the ball catches the blade and flies to third slip, where Hope takes a low catch and falls backwards. The West Indians are extremely delighted to see the back of Warner. Warner c Shai Hope b Jerome Taylor 0(3)

94.0 - Roach to Haddin, 2 runs, dropped, Blackwood has dropped a tough chance at backward point. Full and outside off stump, Haddin goes for the drive on the up, gets a thick edge, Blackwood jumps and tries to take the catch with both hands above his head but it pops out

72.0 - Kraigg Brathwaite to S Smith, no run, dropped! This was flatter outside off, it was bowled quicker as well. Smith goes for the cut and gets a thick outside edge that flies to Bravo at slip, who got up a little too quickly, the ball hits the fingertips of the left hand and lobs up, he tries to take it on the second attempt but fails to do so

116.2 - Jerome Taylor to Hazlewood, 1 run, full and outside off stump, Hazlewood drives it to mid-off for a quick single. The fielder has a shy at the bowler's end but misses. A direct-hit would have been curtains for Hazlewood. In fact, Hazlewood's bat got stuck before the crease as he tried to ground it

92.4 - Jerome Taylor to Haddin, no run, short of length delivery on the stumps, Haddin hops and looks to defend, fails to get bat on ball and gets hit high on the flap of the pad, height was there issue there and umpire Richard Kettleborough got it spot on

86.5 - Permaul to Watson, no run, flighted delivery goes very full, doesn't turn much, Watson looks to defend, but hits the boot with the bat, the ball strikes him on the front pad and it was clearly going past the leg stump

73.0 - Jerome Taylor to S Smith, no run, yorker length ball angling down leg, Smith misses the clip and wears it on the pad. The ball was clearly going down with the angle and both the batsmen were surprised after umpire Kettleborough gave that out. Smith had a chat with Watson and decided to go for the review and rightly so as the ball was missing the stumps

36.0 - Roach to S Smith, no run, on a good length and nips back in sharply, Smith comes across and was completely squared up as he played at that off the back foot. He missed and the ball strikes him high on the pad, there was an appeal but umpire Gould was not interested. West Indies reviewed but it goes in vain

53.1 - Lyon to J Holder, FOUR, tossed up just outside off, beautifully driven by Holder, the timing was perfect on that occasion, once it passed the man at cover there was no stopping that

52.3 - Johnson to J Holder, FOUR, Holder is certainly looking to deal in bouundaries. This time Johnson bowled it fuller, Holder goes for the drive with an angled bat, hits it over backward point for a boundary

49.3 - Hazlewood to J Holder, FOUR, good shot, this time he doesn't give the charge to the bowler, just walks leg-side and gives himself a bit of room, the length ball was right in the slot and Holder lofted the drive inside-out over cover for four more

49.1 - Hazlewood to J Holder, FOUR, this is interesting. Holder comes down the track and attacks Hazlewood, length ball on the stumps, Holder also gives himself a bit of room to go inside-out, he went for the lofted drive, but got it on the outside half of the bat, but it had enough legs to clear the man at cover and go for four

53.3 - Lyon to J Holder, SIX, given this one more air outside off, Holder advances and lofts it high and over long-off, and that will be fifty for Holder, brilliant knock under pressure. He actually mistimed the ball on that occasion but just managed to clear the man at long-off

51.5 - Hazlewood to J Holder, SIX, fuller length and just outside off, Holder clears his front leg out of the way to thwack it over wide long-off for a sumptuous six. He is certainly looking to force Hazlewood to change his length. The bowler has a few words with the batsman

Pitched on a good length and swung back into Taylor, the ball hit him on the back pad as he offered no shot and the umpire had an easy decision to make. Jerome Taylor lbw b Hazlewood 0(2)

59.3 - Hazlewood to Roach, out Caught by Haddin!! Hazlewood has finally made the breakthrough for the visitors. It was a good length ball and in the corridor of uncertainty, Roach gets half forward and looks to drive, but edges it to the wicketkeeper. End of what was an excellent partnership. Roach c Haddin b Hazlewood 7(36)

47.0 - Johnson to Permaul, out Caught by Haddin!! Eventful end to the day. Umpire Ian Gould has had to change two decisions in this over. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, Permaul pokes at it and gets a faint edge, Australia were very confident in their appeal and Clarke reviewed immediately after Gould shook his head. The replay showed that the ball took the outside edge. Permaul c Haddin b Johnson 0(4)

45.5 - Hazlewood to Blackwood, out Caught by Warner!! Oh dear! What have you done Blackwood? He's hit this straight to the fielder. With just about 10 minutes to go for stumps, it was a needless shot. Nothing but a full delivery outside off stump, Blackwood goes hard at the drive, doesn't bother to keep it down and Warner takes a smart low catch at mid-off. Blackwood wanted to send it wide of the fielder but picked him out to perfection. West Indies are seven down for 142. Blackwood c Warner b Hazlewood 51(80) [4s-7 6s-1]

11.1 - Lyon to Darren Bravo, out Lbw!! Bravo has been given out LBW, it looked plumb in front, he's not reviewing that and rightly so. Two wickets in a space of 8 balls now for Lyon and this a big one as well. This was cleverly bowled by the offie. He was bowling off-spinners to Bravo earlier, but now he bowls a slider, Bravo plays across the line, he was caught in the crease and it hit him right in front of middle stump. Darren Bravo lbw b Lyon 14(23) [4s-2]

Kraigg Brathwaite b Lyon 4(27) [4s-1]

2.4 - Starc to Rajindra Chandrika, out Caught by Haddin!! Oh dear! The debutant has to depart for a duck. He should have been off strike for this ball as there was an easy single available in the previous ball, but Brathwaite denied him the run and now Chandrika has edged one to the keeper. Hang on, the umpires are checking for the no-ball. Oh this is very close, but Starc seems to have got something behind the line. That was so tight and the third umpire was convinced Starc landed his heel behind the line. Full and angling away from the right-hander, Chandrika goes for a booming drive, gets a thick edge that goes at a good height to the keeper. Rajindra Chandrika c Haddin b Starc 0(7)

20.4 - Starc to Shai Hope, 1 run, edgedddd and dropped. That was a tough catch, but it should have been taken. 37.5 - Hazlewood to Ramdin, leg byes, FOUR, 100 up for the hosts. Short of a length delivery swinging down the leg-side, Ramdin gets his front foot across the stumps and gets into a bit of tangle as he looks to work this into the on-side, misses and it brushes the front pad before running away to the fine leg boundary

37.3 - Hazlewood to Ramdin, FOUR, once again it goes through the vacant third slip region. Not sure why Clarke doesn't have a man there though. Good length delivery swinging away outside off stump, Ramdin pushes hard at it and gets a thick edge that runs away for four

7.4 - Lyon to Darren Bravo, SIX, brave hit, considering that this is the last over of the day. Flighted delivery very full, Bravo launches it over mid-off and it goes all the way

42.0 - Lyon to Jerome Taylor, out Bowled!! That's it! Two-in-two for Nathan Lyon and Australia have won by 277 runs. Ugly shot from Taylor. Flighted delivery pitching outside off stump, Taylor plays a wild slog, misses and the ball shatters the stumps. Jerome Taylor b Lyon 0(1)

41.5 - Lyon to Roach, out Caught by S Smith!! Appeal for a bat-pad catch and umpire Ian Gould nods. That is a dolly for Smith at short leg. 40.2 - Johnson to Ramdin, out Caught by Clarke!! Well taken by the skipper at second slip. Nothing but a short of length delivery outside off stump, just a hint of away swing on this one, Ramdin pokes at it and gets a thick edge, Clarke dives forward and to his right to take a good low catch. End of a gritty 49-run stand Ramdin c Clarke b Johnson 29(74) [4s-3]

29.3 - Watson to J Holder, out Caught by Starc!! That's as simple as it gets. Such a soft dismissal and Watson is delighted. No heroics from Holder in the second innings, this was pitched on a good length and angled into the pads, Holder went through the flick as he was looking to work it through mid-wicket, he got the timing right but unfortunately Clarke set a trap for him, Starc at short mid-wicket accepts a simple opportunity, he didn't even move an inch on that occasion J Holder c Starc b Watson 1(9)

26.5 - Johnson to Shai Hope, out Bowled!! That's a beauty from Johnson, he gets the reward for staying round the wicket, pitches it on a good length and gets it to tail back into the right-hander, Hope was pressing forward to defend, he was a little late and the ball sneaks through the gap between bat and pad and knocks the off-stump. What a sight for a fast bowler. Brilliant aggressive stuff from Australia, Johnson leaps high, pumps his fist and then goes for a celebratory run. Shai Hope b Johnson 16(36) [4s-2]

17.4 - Hazlewood to Blackwood, out Bowled!! Well bowled Hazlewood, he gets the reward for being consistent and this is turning out to be a dream outing for the youngster. This wasn't quite a wicket taking delivery but Blackwood was caught on the crease. He was playing for the outswing indeed, it was full and just outside off, he goes for the drive, but gets a thick inside edge and the ball crashes into middle and leg. The replay suggests that Blackwood wasn't fully forward as well. Blackwood b Hazlewood 0(5)

15.5 - Hazlewood to Darren Bravo, out Caught by S Marsh!! Bravo is gone and Hazlewood gets the breakthrough, this was a key wicket and now Australia can sense that they can finish this early. On a good length and angling away from the left-hander, Bravo came forward looking to push at it, he plays at it without balance, the ball takes the thick outside edge and flies towards gully, Marsh pounces forward and takes a good low catch, good catching backed by a very good delivery. Marsh took a low catch yesterday to get rid of Chandrika and he's taken another one today. Darren Bravo c S Marsh b Hazlewood 11(49) [6s-1]

12.3 - Starc to Dowrich, out Bowled!! Brilliant delivery from Starc, Dowrich pays the price for staying on the back foot, it was pitched on a fuller length and swung back in sharply, Dowrich wasn't playing for the swing, he was looking to flick it away and misses, the ball clips the back pad and knocks the off-stump. In fact Starc appeals for LBW and the umpire raised the finger. Both were blinded by the batsman and missed that the ball hit the stumps. Dowrich b Starc 4(31)

1.0 - Starc to Rajindra Chandrika, out Caught by S Marsh!! Oh dear! Debutant Rajindra Chandrika bags a pair. No sir, that's not a shot to be playing in the first over of a Test innings. Starc has now got him twice in this Test match. Full and well outside off stump, Chandrika lunges forward to drive, he overbalances and was in no position to play, gets a thick edge and Marsh takes a good low grab at gully. West Indies have lost two wickets in just the first over. What an opening over for Australia. Rajindra Chandrika c S Marsh b Starc 0(2)

0.3 - Starc to Kraigg Brathwaite, out Bowled!! This is just the start Australia wanted after the declaration. Kraigg Brathwaite's poor run continues. His scores in the last few innings: 0, 25, 10, 15, 4 and now 0. Nothing but a full ball outside off stump, Brathwaite was not fully forward to drive this one, throws his hands at it, it was a little wide as well and he chops it back onto the stumps. Probably the ball just swung back into the right-hander on that occasion. Starc has a big smile on his face and why not. Straightaway, West Indies are under pressure! Kraigg Brathwaite b Starc 0(3)

12.4 - Starc to Shai Hope, no run, fuller delivery and gets it to swing back in sharply, Hope flicks and misses, loud appeal for lbw but is turned down and Australia reviewed in vain

5.4 - Lyon to Darren Bravo, no run, slider on the stumps, Bravo leans forward to defend but misses and is hit in line with middle and off, it was a loud appeal from the Aussies and umpire Ian Gould raised his finger. Bravo reviewed it, luckily for him, Hawk-Eye showed that it was bouncing over the sticks. It was surprising though as no one thought height was an issue there. Although Bravo had a good stride forward, he was hit just below the knee-roll. Yes, the new ball tends to bounce more, but it didn't look as if it was going over. In fact, Hawk-Eye showed that it wouldn't have clipped the bails either. Mark Waugh on air says "I can't see how that's going over." Anyway, let's move on
