36.1 - Jordan to Najibullah, FOUR, full and outside off stump, Najibullah waits for the ball to come and smashes it back over mid-on and it almost went all the way

29.2 - Bopara to Nabi, FOUR, short and outside off stump, Nabi dances down the track and slaps it hard over cover-point, he also went leg-side a bit to free his arms and times it very well

27.3 - Bopara to Shafiqullah, FOUR, in the air and in the gap. Full and angling into the right-hander, Shafiqullah allows the ball to come and lofts it over wide long-on for four

21.0 - Bopara to Nasir Jamal, FOUR, lovely on-drive from Jamal, this was full and on the stumps, he leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and punches it past mid-on. Morgan runs after the ball, slides and hauls it back in. But his arm was touching the rope as he did so, signalled as a boundary

20.0 - Jordan to Nasir Jamal, FOUR, that's nicely played by Jamal, short and wide from Jordan, he's quick to rock back and cuts it square and in front of cover, the fielder gives chase but the ball races away to the fence

12.2 - J Anderson to Shenwari, FOUR, that's a lovely shot from Shenwari, this was pitched up and well outside off, Shenwari leans forward, punches it on the up and finds the gap past cover for a boundary, the first of the day

0.4 - J Anderson to Nawroz, leg byes, FOUR, that's a cracker from Anderson, pitched up and jagging back in a long way, Mangal was neither forward nor back as he poked at that, the ball cut him in half and goes over the top of middle stump, swings away further and beats Buttler to the fence

28.2 - Tredwell to Nabi, SIX, excellent shot from the skipper. He gave it all. Slower through the air from Tredwell, Nabi steps out, gets closer to the pitch of the ball and muscles it inside-out over extra-cover

34.4 - Tredwell to Shafiqullah, out Caught by Bopara!! Excellent catch from Bopara. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Shafiqullah goes for the slog-sweep, gets a top edge, Jordan was running to his right from deep mid-wicket as Bopara runs to his left from deep backward square leg. There was a slight misunderstanding between the two as to who was going for the catch. Bopara called for it just in time, ran and dived forward to take a good low catch. Shafiqullah c Bopara b Tredwell 30(64) [4s-1]

31.4 - Bopara to Nabi, out Caught by Tredwell!! In the air and straight to mid-on. The skipper has thrown it away looking for some big hits. Nabi shakes his head in disappointment. Short of a length delivery from Bopara, Nabi goes for the pull but hits it very straight and Tredwell takes an easy catch around shoulder height. Nabi c Tredwell b Bopara 16(17) [4s-1 6s-1]

25.4 - Bopara to Nasir Jamal, out Caught by Buttler!! It's another outside edge and that is an easy catch for the England vice-captain. Nothing but a length ball outside off stump, the ball swung away just a bit, Jamal looks to defend off the front foot, but doesn't lean fully forward, feels for the ball and gets a thick edge. End of a struggling knock from Nasir Jamal. Nasir Jamal c Buttler b Bopara 17(52) [4s-2]

15.1 - Jordan to Shenwari, out Caught by Eoin Morgan!! Excellent catch from Morgan at backward point! This was full and in that channel outside off, Shenwari was leaning forward on the drive, ends up pushing at the ball, gets a thick edge and slices it towards backward point. Morgan dives forward and holds onto a good catch. Second wicket for Jordan, the in-form Shenwari falls. Shenwari c Eoin Morgan b Jordan 7(11) [4s-1]

11.2 - Jordan to Zazai, out Caught by Buttler!! First wicket for Jordan, he gets his line right, this was pitched up and shaped away very late. Zazai has to play at that, pushes forward and the outside edge is found. Buttler dives across to his right and comes up with a neat catch. Afghanistan are in early trouble once again. Zazai c Buttler b Jordan 6(14)

7.3 - Broad to Ahmadi, out Caught by J Root!! Catching practice for Root at first slip! Another poor shot, this time from Ahmadi, this was full and well outside off, Ahmadi was lured into the drive, he can't resist and goes hard at that, gets a thick edge that is snapped up by Root, moving across to his left. Afghanistan have lost both openers now. Ahmadi c J Root b Broad 7(15)

6.3 - J Anderson to Nawroz, out Caught by J Root!! England have struck first blood! Poor shot from Mangal, this was short and well outside off, could have let it go, instead, he goes chasing after that, gets a thick edge and is well held by Root, jumping at first slip and holding it above his head. Afghanistan have lost their first wicket. Nawroz c J Root b J Anderson 4(28)

19.1 - Jordan to Nasir Jamal, no run, this was short and angling down leg-side, Jamal gets inside the line, gets his bat and glove out of the way and lets it go. Buttler appealed for a caught behind and umpire Ravi was quick to raise his finger

16.4 - Shapoor to Bell, FOUR, good length delivery outside off stump, Bell tries to guide it down to third man, but gets a thickish edge that flies over the man at first slip. Bell is on 49 now and England are just one hit away

11.3 - Shenwari to Bell, FOUR, misfield again! Low full toss on the leg stump, Bell flicks it along the ground, Hamid Hassan runs ro his left and gets to the ball, but the he fumbles and it gets to the boundary

9.3 - Shenwari to Bell, FOUR, oh dear, another fumble! Short and on the off stump again, Bell pulls well through mid-wicket, the fielder in the deep runs to his right and gets there, but misfields the ball as he slides

6.3 - Dawlat Zadran to Hales, FOUR, edged but it's gone over the keeper. Short and on the stumps, Hales rocks back and pulls, gets a top edge and it flies over the diving keeper, who tried to jump high and grab it with his right hand

6.2 - Dawlat Zadran to Hales, FOUR, short and on the leg stump, Hales rocks back and pulls it over square leg and it rocketed to the boundary

2.3 - Shapoor to Bell, FOUR, now he's crashed this. Overpitched and outside off stump, Bell plays a lovely little uppish square-drive, he ended up slicing it over cover-point and it went away to the boundary

1.3 - Dawlat Zadran to Bell, FOUR, Dawlat Zadran is not learning his lessons. With three slips in place, Dawlat opts to bang the ball short again for some reason, Bell has enough time to rock back and pull it through mid-wicket

1.0 - Shapoor to Bell, FOUR, hit deliberately in the air and in the gap as well. Good length delivery outside off stump, Bell leans forward and drives on the rise, there is no one at extra-cover and Bell opens his account in style

11.5 - Shenwari to Hales, SIX, flighted delivery on the leg stump, Hales gets down on one knee and sweeps it over backward square leg. The ball goes all the way over the boundary

1.1 - Dawlat Zadran to Hales, SIX, rank long hop to start with and Hales sends it all the way. Short and not rising much, Hales goes on the back foot and pulls powerfully over backward square leg, the ball goes all the way

13.3 - Hamid to Hales, out Caught by Zazai!! Edged and taken. Good length delivery outside off stump, Hales looks to defend, ends up feeling for the ball and gets an outside edge which is easily held by the keeper. Maybe, the ball just nipped away off the deck. Hales c Zazai b Hamid 37(33) [4s-3 6s-2]

4.3 - Shapoor to Hales, no run, "catch ittt" is the cry and Hales has been dropped again. It's Najibullah again. Full and outside off stump, Hales plays the square-drive and hits it to backward point, where the fielder moves to his left and grasses the ball despite getting both hands to it

0.3 - Shapoor to Hales, no run, dropped. Looks like it is Najibullah, who has put down the catch. Fullish and outside off stump, Hales drives away from the body, gets a thickish edge that flies to backward point, he almost sliced that, the fielder dives forward and gets both hands to it, but spills it

16.5 - Shapoor to Bell, 1 run, 35th ODI fifty, short of length delivery outside off stump, Bell runs it to third man and raises his bat to acknowledge the applause
