It was a shortish ball from Rubel outside off, Thirimanne arches back and looks to ramp it over third man, but finds the fielder instead. Short and wide outside off stump, Sangakkara cuts, but doesn't control the shot, it goes straight to backward point, where Mominul Haque tries to reverse-cup the ball but spills it. He has a shy at the non-striker's end as Sanga tries to take a run but there was no one backing up. Rubel was disappointed with the drop and did not bother going upto the stumps to collect the throw. In fact, long-on wasn't aware of the situation either. It was only after Rubel yelled at him that the fielder ran to his left to stop the ball

33.0 - Taskin Ahmed to Sangakkara, no run, in the airrrrr, oh was that dropped catch? Good attempt by Taskin. Short of a length delivery on the stumps, Sangakkara tried to work it on the on-side, he got a soft leading edge, the bowler dived to his left and forward in his followthrough but couldn't grab the ball. Oh yes, it is a dropped catch. Taskin actually had it in his hands for a while

This was shaping away from the batsman, Thirimanne goes fishing, gets a thick outside edge and the ball flies to the widish slip fielder, the ball pops out of his hands the first time and he keeps fumbling, juggles it thrice before dropping

49.1 - Taskin Ahmed to Sangakkara, 1 run, full and outside off stump, Sangakkara drives it to long-off. 22nd ODI hundred for Sanga. He is the first player to scored a hundred in his 400th ODI and it is his first hundred at the MCG. In fact, it his fastest ODI hundred. No great celebrations from the champion, just raises his bat to the crowd and the dressing room

42.2 - Taskin Ahmed to Dilshan, 1 run, low full toss outside off stump, Dilshan drives it straight to cover and takes off, Sanga asks him to go back, Dilshan was halfway down the track, he teases the fielder to have a shy at the stumps and Anamul Haque misses a direct-hit. Eventually, they get a run. Rahim was very slow to react as well. He should have ran upto the stumps

20.1 - T Perera to Mahmudullah, FOUR, Mahmudullah breaks the shackles! A little shimmy down the track, forces Perera to bang this one short and just outside off, pulled away in front of square on the on-side for a boundary

14.3 - T Perera to Mahmudullah, FOUR, that's poor fielding from Lakmal at the wide long-on fence, this was full and on the stumps, Mahmudullah came charging down the track and heaves it over mid-wicket. Lakmal runs across and puts in a lazy effort, allows the ball to sneak past him and into the fence

9.5 - Mathews to Mahmudullah, leg byes, FOUR, Mathews gets his line wrong once again, full and on Mahmudullah's pads, he looks to flick and misses, the ball rolls off the pads. Sangakkara gets across on the slide, but the ball bounces in front of him and goes past him for a boundary. Leg-byes is the call

9.3 - Mathews to Mahmudullah, FOUR, that's nicely timed by Mahmudullah, tad too full and too straight from Mathews, Mahmudullah shuffles across and clips it past square leg. Karunaratne gives the chase, puts in the dive but the ball eventually beats him to the fence

3.3 - Lakmal to Soumya Sarkar, FOUR, this is the best of the lot, Soumya Sarkar is looking in exquisite form, pitched up and just outside off, Soumya gets a big stride forward, meets the ball on top of the bounce and creams it past extra cover for a boundary, all along the carpet

3.2 - Lakmal to Soumya Sarkar, FOUR, this is positive batting from Soumya Sarkar, fuller and well outside off, Soumya Sarkar has the room to throw his bat, goes over mid-off and the ball races away to the fence

3.1 - Lakmal to Soumya Sarkar, FOUR, beautifully played, tad too full and tad too wide from Lakmal, Soumya Sarkar gets a good stride forward, takes the ball on top of the bounce and crunches it square past cover for a boundary

2.4 - Malinga to Anamul, FOUR, that's a controlled pull from Anamul, this was banged in short and on the stumps, Anamul swivels across, rolls his wrists and pulls it behind square on the on-side, the fielder at long leg has no chance

1.4 - Lakmal to Soumya Sarkar, FOUR, that's nicely played by Sarkar, on a good length and just outside off, he leans forward and caresses it square past cover, no need to run for those

0.5 - Malinga to Soumya Sarkar, FOUR, Malinga goes for another yorker, ends up offering a juicy full-toss, Soumya presents the full face of the bat and punches it past mid-on for a boundary

31.1 - Dilshan to Rahim, SIX, in the air. Is that going all the way? Oh! Malinga has palmed it over the boundary. Flighted delivery from Dilshan, Rahim steps out and looks to loft it hard, doesn't get the connection right, it goes high in the air, long-on, who was close to the boundary tried to reverse-cup the ball, but he spills it

28.2 - Herath to Shakib, SIX, in the air and it's gone all the way. A great effort by Chandimal at long-on. Flighted delivery from Herath, Shakib steps out and lofts, long-on runs to his right and dives full length to his right, only manages to get a fingertip and the ball goes over the boundary

5.2 - Mathews to Anamul, SIX, that's a stunning shot from Anamul, fraction short and on the stumps, Anamul swivels across quickly and helps it on its way, the timing is sublime and the ball ends up in the stands at backward square leg

47.0 - Malinga to Taskin Ahmed, out Lbw!! Slower ball yorker, too good for Taskin, he tries to defend but misses and gets hit on the boot. The umpire raised his finger in a flash and it was going to hit the middle stump. So Sri Lanka have completed a comprehensive 92-run win. Taskin Ahmed lbw b Malinga 0(1)

46.5 - Malinga to S Rahman, out Caught by Sangakkara!! Slinga is a happy man. A sharp bumper from Malinga, it rises steeply as well, Sabbir couldn't get out of the way, tries to jump and fend, the ball takes the glove, Sanga dives forward and to his right to take a good low catch. 43.5 - Dilshan to Mortaza, out Stumped!! Second wicket for Dilshan, what a day he's having. That's his 99th ODI wicket as well. Nothing but a flighted delivery from Dilshan, Mortaza steps out early and tries to go big. He misses the ball and Sanga quickly takes the bails off before Mortaza grounded his bat. Third umpire has a look and confirms that Mortaza was short of his crease. Mortaza st Sangakkara b Dilshan 7(7) [4s-1]

40.2 - Lakmal to Rahim, out Bowled!! Knocked him over! The slower ball again from Lakmal, Rahim exposed all sticks as he backed away to go over the off-side, he didn't pick the off-pace delivery, he was on the move while trying to meet the ball. He got an outside edge that rattled into middle and off. Well deserved wicket for Lakmal. Rahim b Lakmal 36(39) [4s-2 6s-1]

31.5 - Dilshan to Shakib, out Caught by Malinga!! Now this is a dolly and Malinga makes no mistake. Nothing but a flighted delivery from Dilshan, Shakib steps out and looks to loft, but he doesn't go through with the shot fully, just chips in the air and long-on easily swallows the ball. 20.4 - T Perera to Mahmudullah, out Caught by Herath!! The pressure was telling on Mahmudullah and he has thrown his wicket away. This was short and on the stumps, Mahmudullah was looking to help it on its way, closed the face of the bat a tad too early, gets a thick top-edge that goes behind square on the on-side. Herath comes running in from the deep, looked like he lost it under the lights, the ball nearly burst through his hands but he ends up clasping it with his fingers pointing up. A sigh of relief after holding on, Bangladesh lose their fifth wicket. Mahmudullah c Herath b T Perera 28(46) [4s-3]

15.1 - Herath to Mahmudullah, out Anamul Run Out!! That's disaster for Bangladesh, the running was always suspect between these two. This was tossed up and on the stumps, Mahmudullah worked it to the right of mid-wicket and took a step or two down the track. Anamul responded and was almost half-way down the pitch before being sent back. Mathews runs across, picks up the ball and hits the stumps at the bowler's end, Anamul was way short of his ground. 6.2 - Lakmal to Mominul, out Caught by M Jayawardene!! Doesn't matter one bit! MJ was agitated after the Snicko wasn't available for the previous ball, he now has made amends with a sharp catch at 1st slip. This was short and went with the angle, Mominul went chasing after that, gets a thick edge and to the left of MJ. he moves across and holds onto the catch, he's still chuntering there, but Sri Lanka have got their man. 5.5 - Mathews to Soumya Sarkar, out Caught by Sangakkara!! Edged and caught! Loose drive from Soumya Sarkar, he was looking very promising but his stay is short. This was the slower ball from Mathews, pitches in that corridor outside off and nips away, lures Sarkar into the drive. His feet is nowhere as he aimed the flashy shot, ends up getting a thin nick through to the keeper. Mathews didn't get to bat, but has struck in his first over. 0.2 - Malinga to Tamim, out Bowled!! That's a cracker from Malinga, Iqbal didn't read it one bit though. This was pitched up in that corridor around off-stump and held its line, Iqbal doesn't cover the line, he reckons that it was going away with the angle, plays inside the line and lets it go. The ball rattles the off-stump, a stunned Iqbal walks away in disappointment. This is not the start that Bangladesh would have hoped for. Tamim b Malinga 0(2)

9.0 - Lakmal to Anamul, 1 run, chance and Mathews has dropped it, Anamul loses his patience, runs down the track to a length ball and looks to lift it over mid-off, doesn't get hold of the shot. Matthews runs back from mid-off, looks to take the ball over his shoulder as he jumped, ends up dropping it

1.3 - Lakmal to Anamul, 1 run, Dilshan has made a mess of a simple chance, rush of blood from Anamul, comes down the track and plays an ugly hoick towards cover, the ball goes off the bottom of the bat and spoons in the air towards point. Dilshan called for the catch, doesn't get anywhere near the line and ends up not getting even a hand onto it. Lakmal looks disappointed and he must certainly be, can't expect Dilshan to drop a chance

14.2 - T Perera to Mahmudullah, no run, lots of confusion between the two batsmen, almost a huge mix-up, the fielder didn't spot it though and that helps the batsmen get back to their respective creases, on a good length and just outside off, Mahmudullah dabbed it to the left of cover and set-off. Anamul was watching the fielder who makes a tumbling stop. On seeing this, Mahmudullah runs back to his crease while Anamul sets off for the single. They were both running at the same end, the throw comes to the same end as well and misses, Anamul has time to rush back into his crease

6.1 - Lakmal to Mominul, no run, fuller length delivery and shaping away from outside off, Mominul slashes at that and misses. Sri Lanka think there was some bat on that and they have made a late call to review it. No issues with the no-ball, I can't hear any noise there. Have to see if something registered on the Snicko. The third umpire didn't even bother to see the Snicko, NOT OUT is the call
