Virender Sehwag, India's number one, smash-hit, aggressive opener is back and will be playing the 2015 Cricket World Cup. He is to be joined by his team mates Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan. This news comes as a surprise only days after the BCCI announced the 30 player probables list for the upcoming world cup.
It was a quiet afternoon on the 4th of December here at Najafgarh when news spread that hometown favourite Viru had been dropped from the 30 man World Cup probable list announced by the selectors. News reporters lined outside Viru's house for his views on the recent developments.
Viru did not seem to be very dejected by the news, and had a glowing smile welcoming the reporters to his bungalow. After comforting everyone with tea and snacks, Viru was finally ready to answer the media.
Reporter - "What do you think about your name not in the list?"
Viru - "Whose loss is it?"
*Silence*
Reporter - "But don't you think you still have a couple of years more in you?"
Viru - "Definitely"
Reporter -"What does your future hold now?"
Viru - "Main Khelega" (In Tendulkar's accent)
Reporter - Par kidhar?
Viru: In the team!
Everyone was bemused, and then...
That's it! Viru left the conference with a big grin on his face. Reporters were left puzzled and confused.
It wasn’t until this morning at our office here at Badlapur that we received the answers to those questions.
Yes. Virender Sehwag is playing the World Cup.
Not only him, but Gautam who was gambhir since the 4th of December, Bhajji whose house is yet to 'Basra' and 14 crores will be playing the world cup.
Our office watchman, Dalit Modi received a letter today early morning from the courier boy Sundar Chaman stating the same. The letter only had a player team list. Here it goes:

Our editor, N Shrinivision was baffled reading this letter. “How is this even possible?” he asked.
He quickly ran through the office premises to the statistics division for a response.
”What is this?” - He asked to Mr. Goodgirl, our statistical head.
Apparently Goodgirl, along with his team, had made a comprehensive report as to why some of these players must be selected for the World Cup. The Goodgirl committee had a good report there. It’s just that they weren't disclosing with names from that list, for no particular reason.
Goodgirl had no reply to Shrinivision but requested some time to look into the matter.
The Goodgirl committee started looking out for the basis of this letter.
After hours of research and hard work, they finally got it!
But as always, they don't disclose their findings! Do they?
