Pray to God and things will be all right

Dickie Dodds was a professional cricketer who served English cricket for many years.
He was a committed Christian as well. He never played on Sundays and, unlike most of his 'professional' mates, did not insure his benefit match against rain.
He just prayed to God and was blessed with glorious sunshine. Dneis Compton was at his best and the crowd flocked in to see him bat.
The match raised £2325 and he gave all of it to Moral Re-Armament.
