Welcome back.. Three slips in place as Steyn steams in.
Two quick wickets fell as Amla was caught and bowled by Elliott, who found appreciable swing and seam movement to trouble the batsmen throughout, and Wheeler nicked out another left-hander in Rossouw. de Villiers looked edgy early on but got into his groove as he drove and pulled to 8000 ODI runs and eventually to a breezy ODI fifty, his 47th overall. He was bowled by one from Bracewell that nipped back in to beat his defenses. Miller provided good support at the other end before edging pacy Milne behind to the keeper. Some good shots and a positive intent from Behardien took South Africa to what can be considered a competitive total on this Durban pitch. Join us in about 30 minutes in what should be a delicious chase in a decider..
New Zealand were a combination of sloppy and genius in the field as they dropped as many as four catches but stopped a few boundaries throwing themselves around. Earlier, opting to bat first, Amla and van Wyk brought up their first 50+ stand in the series. An early dolly drop of van Wyk at fine leg by Bracewell definitely helped on a pitch that was anti-Potchefstroom to say the least. Morne van Wyk pounced on the opportunity and registered his 4th ODI fifty which was steady but far from comfortable. Amla was sublime at the other end as he rotated the strike with ease.

Third umpire pressed into service for a run-out appeal. This is close. Rossouw's bat looks to be on the line when the stumps are disturbed, but the bails take some time to come off. This is a tough one for the third umpire. He is taking a long time. Goes with the batsman. Not out the call.

South Africa have moved up to No. 3 in the ICC ODI rankings with this series win. And that brings an end to proceedings. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Join us back for plenty more cricketing action. Until next time, take care and Cya!
Earlier, South Africa rode on de Villiers' and van Wyk's fifties and some late order hitting from Behardien to put up a handsome total on board for the decider. In the process, de Villiers completed 8000 ODI runs and became the fastest batsman to do so.
Latham notched up his third consecutive fifty of the series, which was also the 4th ODI fifty of his career. He played some gorgeous shots but couldn't carry on as a superlative bullet-ish under-arm throw from Miller found him short of his crease. Wiese chipped in with two wickets as he cleaned up Worker and got the World Cup semi-final hero Elliott caught by Rabada at deep square leg. Ronchi, the last Kiwi hope, steered a Rabada delivery into the hands of the lone slipper as his form continued to betray him. With the run-rate climbing and most of the recognized batsmen back in the hut, New Zealand dragged on but only managed to take the lost game deeper.
Fielding was the Disappointment Of the Day yet again, but South Africa impressed as they managed to win the 3rd ODI by 62 runs and the series 2-1. Steyn Remover joined hands with the Durban bounce very early in the innings to remove the dangerous Guptill - he tried to play the back foot punch only to edge it behind. Williamson and Latham played cautiously and brilliantly as they brought up a 50-run stand for the 2nd wicket. Williamson was dropped twice and Steyn messed up a catch at long-on but they didn't prove to be too costly as he charged down to a Tahir googly and was bowled.
