Steyn: "Good to be on the field and I really enjoyed it out there. To get Pollard off the first ball in the last over made a big difference. Their batters got in and got out, overall it was good bowling. I think it is a pretty par score."
For HYD, Dale Steyn prised out a couple of batsmen, including the dangerous Simmons. Praveen Kumar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled with good control and were rewarded with wickets. The outfield is lightning fast and it is a placid pitch, so HYD have every chance of overhauling the target.
Lendl Simmons' crunching innings piloted MUM to a decent total. Simmons, with his pyrotechnics, mainly looked to hoick it across the line and unfurled a series of boundaries. He then completed a fine half-century. Rohit Sharma looked in fine touch during his brief stay at the crease before he lost his wicket to Karn Sharma. It was Kieron Pollard, who cracked a few thunderous shots to give MUM's bowlers something to bowl at.

Earlier in the day, HYD's bowlers made an impact by landing crucial blows. Dale Steyn, Praveen Kumar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took seven wickets between them. However, it wasn't enough to prevent MUM from emerging victorious.
HYD's batsmen put up a disappointing show to hurtle towards a defeat. Shikhar Dhawan played with precise metre of timing to essay a flurry of fine shots. However, once he was dismissed, HYD lost momentum. KL Rahul and Ravi Bopara struggled to up the tempo and that didn't help the visitors' cause.
