Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

The Lahore players are in a huddle as Quetta openers walk out. This should be a cracker of a chase...

He said that he "builds leagues" around the world and he just lit up Dubai. Chris Gayle arrived late but compensated with a 34-ball 60 that was decked with 6 sixes. Azhar Ali, feeding on the inductive aggression, chipped in with an understandably subtle but agressive 61 and Umar Akmal blazed away in the end, feeding on full toss platters, to make the score Himalayan. This pitch is a "tawa" and a run-flood in response can't be ruled out, specially with a hungry KP waiting to Gayle up the tournament today. Refill your coffee and join us back..

Dwayne Bravo 20(17) U Akmal 55(25) Umar Gul 3-0-26-0

19.6 - Umar Gul to Dwayne Bravo, no run, hey, what was that? Had his bat reversed to hammer this short ball over the keeper. Ball was quick, Bravo a little awkward and tangled. Misses and Lahore end up on 201

19.5 - Umar Gul to U Akmal, 1 run, understandably wanted to go bog over mid-wicket. Fetches it with a heave but the ball's too full and is dragged to long-on off the toe-end

19.4 - Umar Gul to U Akmal, FOUR, goes for the fullish delivery just inside the tramline, Akmal's meets it with protracted hands and flogs it through cover

19.3 - Umar Gul to Dwayne Bravo, 1 run, lovely shot but it's been played straight to the sweeper in the deep. On a good length, Bravo high-elbows the drive but couldn't back it up with better placement

19.2 - Umar Gul to Dwayne Bravo, FOUR, follows Bravo with a full delivery and Bravo has seen this too many times. Opens his bat face while digging it out and beat backward point to race away

19.1 - Umar Gul to Dwayne Bravo, no run, another fullish delivery, not quite the yorker length and Bravo slices it out while backing away. Straight to KP at backward point

19.1 - Umar Gul to Dwayne Bravo, no ball, Gul'd. Gone. Fires in a yorker off the first delivery, Bravo was trying to dig it out to third man with an open blade but misses. Clatters the stumps...but wait! Gul has overstepped and it's a free-hit. Like cotton for a candy..oh cricket, why cricket?

18.5 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, 1 run, a single of sanity to bring up his fifty off 23 balls. Second-fastest of the tournament. On the pads and he nudges it to mid-wicket

18.4 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, SIX, and with the last two being tooo full, this one's being stuffed with lots of short length. Akmal stands tall and upper-cuts it over backward point. Hat-trick of sixes!

18.3 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, SIX, and another! What's with the full tosses? Lower this time on off, Akmal sinks lower and heaves it pancake-flat over long-on

18.2 - Anwar Ali to U Akmal, SIX, full toss and it's like a rom-com movie. All predictable. Knee-high, Akmal bends his front knee a touch and clobbers it over deep mid-wicket

18.1 - Anwar Ali to Dwayne Bravo, 1 run, fullish delivery veering down leg, Bravo turns and clips it to deep backward square leg

Anwar has been dry-washed for 26 runs today. His last over..

17.4 - Elliott to Dwayne Bravo, 1 run, quicker and fuller, Bravo drives it through cover

17.3 - Elliott to Dwayne Bravo, FOUR, that was a a monstrous attempt at a heave. Legcutter on off, Bravo swung through it, found the outside edge on the bat swing and it races away wide of the keeper

17.1 - Elliott to Dwayne Bravo, no run, keeps his boots glued but arches back to make room, thumps the cut to backward point

17.1 - Elliott to Dwayne Bravo, wide, down the leg-side, Bravo turns to glance but doesn't connect

14.4 - Babar to U Akmal, 2 runs, bends forward and clips this ball stylishly to long-on

14.3 - Babar to U Akmal, FOUR, high full toss outside off and it's been sliced, like your morning bread. Opens his bat, gets on top of the bounce with protracted hands and gets it away behind point

That's it for today. Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi first up followed by Islamabad United vs Lahore Qalandars tomorrow for the double-header. Who will grab the fourth play-off berth? Karachi or Lahore? Karachi are through if they win and will dump Lahore out. Have a good night's sleep and join us for both the potential nail-biting encounters. Cheers and ta-ta.

Sarfraz Ahmed: Very good wicket and credit to Bismillah Khan for his innings. Any amount of appreciation will fall short. Nabi played well too. I knew that if we had a batsman till the end, we will win. You can't help if such big players play on a ground with small boundaries. It's good that we have rotated players and are still winning. Vivian Richards is as good a person as he was a player. Very humble and we are enjoying our time with him. I am learning a lot as a captain. I try to keep myself calm. Sanga and KP backed me today and I hope that I will learn a lot after PSL too. My owner takes a lot of tension [chuckles].

Azhar Ali: When you score 200, you think you have good runs on the board. But they started very well. We leaked too many runs in the first 6 overs. When they needed 8rpo, we needed out best bowlers to bowl then. Still no regret in letting a spinner bowl the last over. Last game is a must-win and we have to rely on others. Guys tried hard though.

Bismillah Khan: They trusted me and it helped me perform. Performing in a winning team is easier. Moin Khan and others gave me a lot of confidence. People must be celebrating in Quetta. This cricket is easier than the one in Quetta; here there is just some more pressure. I have played U19, then played First Class. I am thankful that I am doing well. Played in the Emerging Camp too.

Bismillah Khan is the Man of the Match for his 30-ball 55 on his PSL debut

What a match! The pitch signalled a run-fest and boy, did it not turn out to be one! 200+ pitted against 200+. A wicket in Ehsan Adil's second over which would have been expected to cut the runs off. But Pietersen walked in and tonked the next five balls for boundaries. Bismillah Khan delighted with a half-century to jet off Gladiators and entertain hopes of an early finish but Bravo walked in, consumed both the well-set batsmen to flip the game on its head. After Adil felled Sarfraz and Sanga in his 2-wicket over, the game looked over but there was a twist. Nabi walked out, entertained with 3 fours and 2 sixes to steal the match away. It's simple for Karachi now - they have to win their match tomorrow to go through.

19.5 - Zohaib Khan to Babar, 1 run, dropped? Low full toss, Babar shimmies out and drills it back at the bowler. Falls just in front of Zohaib Khan who threw himself on the ground but could only half-stop the ball. Parried to mid-on for a single

A boundary to finish? Or a Super over?

19.4 - Zohaib Khan to Nabi, 1 run, drifting in outside off, Nabi goes for the booming drive and skews it off the inside edge to short fine

5 runs in 3 balls..

19.3 - Zohaib Khan to Nabi, SIX, SIX! SIX! SIX! What did I mention about this match? Length ball has been assassinated. Swings his arms and flogs this ball over deep mid-wicket. Always looked like it would just drop inside the ropes but it overwhelmed to sail over

19.1 - Zohaib Khan to Nabi, no run, fired in full, it's back out to the bowler who fields and turns around in a flash to flick the bails off at the bowler's end. Babar aborted the backing up, dragged his bat in and was found to be in on the umpire referral

16.6 - K Cooper to Elliott, out Caught by Ehsan Adil!! And the match's turning. A flurry of wickets and Ehsan Adil has another victim, this time with a catch at short fine. Elliott bent low with a pick-up flick but placed it straight to Adil who wasn't sure about the catch. Had dived in front and wrapped his fingers over the ball. Replays, initially unclear, suggested that Adil had done a fine job and after millions of replays, the decision was ruled against Elliott. Elliott c Ehsan Adil b K Cooper 3(3)

Short fine leg isn't sure about the catch and it's been referred upstairs. Not a no-ball by a distance. The zoomer is very blurred, even with my thick glasses on. 16.4 - K Cooper to Anwar Ali, no ball, 2 runs, too high and it's been called a no-ball. The batsman was surprised, the ball arrived late and the top-edge was found on the bat swat. On the bounce to the keeper and the batsmen sneak in two runs too
