Perth Scorchers have dealt yet another blow with Andrew Tye before upcoming Big Bash.
Tye hurt his shoulder while fielding in grade cricket in Perth.
He is awaiting the results of scans to determine the extent of the damage.
It comes as major blow for the Scorchers, who will already be without fast bowlers Jason Behrendorff, Joel Paris and Nathan Coulter-Nile for parts of the tournament due to injury.
Scorchers did however announce the signing of Mitchell Johnson in August, who will be making his debut in the BBL.
Andrew Tye was one of the main players for the Scorchers and made his Twenty20 debut for Australia against India last January.
He was also selected in the Australian squad for the World T20.
