West Indies announce squad for first Test against India

West Indies have announced their Test squad for the 1st Test match against India. 

Roston Chase, an uncapped middle-order batsman has been named in West Indies' squad for the four-Test series against India. Wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin has been dropped from the squad.

The WICB said that Ramdin was "sanctioned" for his outburst in relation to his non-selection on Twitter last week. Dowrich will take over wicketkeeping duties from Ramdin.

Shannon Gabriel is the only specialist fast bowler in the squad, with Carlos Brathwaite and captain Jason Holder being the other fast bowling options. 

The first Test against India begins on July 21. India have already arrived in West Indies.
