South Africa Head Coach Russell Domingo's contract has been extended till August 2017.
Domingo's contract was going to end in April 2017 but has now been extended till August 2017.
CSA CEO Haroon Lorgat stated,
“
As part of the domestic cricket review, we are currently evaluating the entire coaching framework in South Africa and the Board believed the best approach at present was to extend the tenure of Mr Domingo until the end of the England tour in 2017.
”
Domingo was under scrutiny just a few months ago but with the backing of the players, he has been given a chance to coach the team during the Champions Trophy.
