Mushtaq Ahmed to be appointed as the interim Head coach of Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday has decided to make former bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed as a temporary head coach of Pakistan cricket team.

Since Pakistan has a series against England in the months of June and July, PCB wants an interim head coach to look after the matters until a permanent coach is finalised.

Mushtaq Ahmed had earlier served as a spin bowling coach to both Pakistan and England.

Earlier, former legendary batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq took charge as chief selector. The announcement was made by PCB chief Shaharyar Khan.

Shahryar also announced that former spin legend Mushtaq Ahmad will serve as the head coach of the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Meanwhile, Dean Jones is being considered for taking over as Pakistan's permanent Head coach.
