Leicestershire signs South African batsman for NatWest T20 Blast

In a move to strengthen its squad for NatWest T20 Blast, Leicestershire signed South African batsman Rilee Rossouw for the later stage of this season's NatWest T20 Blast campaign.
The 26-year-old left-hander will be available as cover for Pakistan's Umar Akmal in the final six group stage games. Umar Akmal will be flying away to play in the Caribbean Premier League.
Rossouw's first match will be against Derbyshire Falcons at the Fischer County Ground on July 8.
Rossouw is a part of the South African 15-man squad for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament in India. He averages 34.55 in T20I and a plays with an impressive strike rate of 145.32 for the Proteas.
Rilee Rossouw has scored more than 2,000 runs in his T20 career. Rossouw has played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.
