Following Australia's disastrous ashes series, Lalit Modi, who faces corruption charges in India, offers details about his blueprint for a new governing body for international cricket. Under the new structure players will receive higher wages, and one-day cricket will be dropped entirely.

The plan that I have put together is a very detailed plan, it's not a plan that's come off the cuff, it's been taking years and years and years in the making.

”

Having consulted business analysts, players and consultants, Modi claims his plan is ready to implement and could rewrite the way the sport is played and governed.

“

ICC is not for the players and for me getting players is a switch of a button.

”

- Says Modi further stating its an easy cheque to right.

“

I would like everybody to be involved in the plan;like all the stakeholders in the business along with the players. There should be no bias. It's a dream project!

”

Modi said his blueprint comprises a calendar of events to rival the ICC’s schedule in Tests and T20 games.

It's a plan that one day, if implemented will rewrite history in sports or in that particular sport.
