Karnataka to give support to 2nd T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind

 

Cabi_logo_Cricket_Association_for_the_Blind_in_IndiaKarnataka has assured that they will give their full support for the upcoming 2nd T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind.

The World Cup is scheduled to be held between January 28, 2017 and February 12, 2017.

Mr. Pramod Madhvaraj, Minister of State for Fisheries, Youth Services & Sports, Government of Karnataka, assured the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) that Karnataka would extend maximum support for the sports initiative.

Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, President, CABI, said,

 

 

We briefed him about the tournament and its importance in promoting sports among the visually impaired. He was impressed with the innovative way the game has been modified to suit the comfort of visually impaired cricketers.

 

 

Mr. Pramod has invited CABI to send suggestions and inputs for drafting the new Sports Policy by the Government of Karnataka, considering the needs of the specially-abled sports personalities.
