Australia's tour of India schedule announced

The schedule for Australia’s tour of India has been announced.

Australia are in a fix as they are scheduled to play a Test just a day after playing a T20 against Sri Lanka on home soil.

Australia’s schedule is so packed that they have only a 15 to 16-hour gap between a T20 and a Test, both to be played in different countries.

Australia will play a T20 against Sri Lanka on 22nd February, 2017 in Adelaide and then the first Test against India in Pune on 23rd February, 2017.

This means that Australia must choose two completely different teams for the T20 and for the Test match.

Australia tour of India schedule:

First Test: Pune, February 23-27
Second Test: Bangalore, March 4-8
Third Test: Ranchi, March 16-20
Fourth Test: Dharamsala, March 25-29
