Afghanistan had to cancel their Ireland tour due to domestic T20 clash. 
 
Afghanistan were scheduled to play an ODI series against Ireland next month, but because of their clash with the domestic t20 event they had to withdraw their tour of Ireland. 

Cricket Ireland have been informed that the  Afghanistan Cricket Board is not in a position to approve the tour because their main preference is domestic t20 league as it’s a huge platform for the local Afghan players. 
 
Cricket Ireland official said,

“

Our preference is to give as many opportunities as possible to our senior men to play our closest rivals on our home turf, so we are disappointed the matches won't proceed in July,

”

However, both these cricket boards will work to re-schedule the matches at a later date.
