Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

We are back. Ehsan Adil is rehearsing his run-up. Now, he's set to go, Tamin on strike..

Lahore Qalandars have given themselves a fair shot with the bat in what is a very crucial game. Especially taking into account that they lost their talisman Chris Gayle for a first ball blob, it looks a decent effort. Delport walked in at no. 3 and looked impressive in the way he paced his knock. Took his time early on to get a feel for the pitch which is fairly sluggish and two-paced. He found excellent support in the form of Umar Akmal and that partnership gained a lot of momentum as it went along with both going on to register half-centuries. However, given the way that Peshawar Zalmi have been going in this competition so far, we are in with a fight on our hands. Stay tuned for the chase..

U Akmal 52(31) Dwayne Bravo 1(1) Junaid Khan 4-0-32-2

19.6 - Junaid Khan to U Akmal, FOUR, and Akmal finishes it off in style to reach a half-century. Makes some room, and hoists it wide of long-off as Junaid missed out on the yorker

19.5 - Junaid Khan to Dwayne Bravo, 1 run, ah, what's going on with Sammy? The ball can't stop following him. And it's a third very difficult chance which he has put down. Low full toss outside off, Bravo's weight was leaning back as he slices it wide of short third man. Sammy stretches his hands to his right, gets fingertips - or probably a bit more than that - but can't hold on

19.4 - Junaid Khan to U Akmal, 1 run, interesting field placement this, and it's working. There's a deep backward point in place and Junaid is bowling to his field. Full and wide outside off, Akmal can only stretch out and slice it to the man

Dwayne Bravo, right handed bat, comes to the crease

19.3 - Junaid Khan to Delport, out Caught by Malan!! End of a fine, fine knock which has kept Lahore in with a real chance. Paced his innings so well, and changed gears impressively after his fifty. Couldn't get hold of this one though. Slower short ball which holds up on his attempted pull, he gets it right off the bottom of the bat and spoons it to deep mid-wicket. Delport c Malan b Junaid Khan 78(61) [4s-6 6s-3]

Junaid Khan to Delport, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

19.2 - Junaid Khan to Delport, FOUR, low full toss which has been pumped to the right of long-on. Loads of bottom hand as Delport picked the bones out of it

19.1 - Junaid Khan to U Akmal, 1 run, sliced past backward point. Junaid actually fired it full and wide after seeing Akmal back away. However, he manages to stretch and run it behind square by using the pace. Deep point had to be quick, which he was

Junaid Khan [3.0-0-21-1] is back into the attack

Over: 19 2 LHQ 153/2
U Akmal 46(28) Delport 74(59) Riaz 4-0-39-0

18.6 - Riaz to U Akmal, 1 run, good surprise ball. Akmal must have been expecting one near his toes. Instead, gets a brisk one gunning for his rib-cage and is late on the pull. Mistimes it to deep mid-wicket

18.5 - Riaz to Delport, 1 run, cramps Delport for room by following him, keeps it near the blockhole too and watches it being squeezed down to long-on

18.4 - Riaz to Delport, 2 runs, smoke! Slower back of a length delivery wide of off, Delport smacks the flat-batted swat very hard towards long-off. The velocity is such that the fielder is taken aback and tumbles to the floor in an attempt to stop. Allows the batsmen to run back for the second

18.3 - Riaz to U Akmal, 1 run, very full ball angled away outside off, Akmal squeezes the drive to deep point

18.2 - Riaz to U Akmal, 2 runs, this one is slighly shorter than the previous one and allows Akmal to carve it over the covers. Wide enough of the sweeper for a couple

18.1 - Riaz to Delport, 1 run, good stuff from Riaz, slingy full ball which is difficult to get underneath, slapped to mid-off

Over: 18 1 1 1 1 1 0 LHQ 145/2
Delport 70(56) U Akmal 42(25) Tait 4-0-30-0

17.6 - Tait to Delport, 1 run, pitches this one up and dangerously wide of off, Delport can't quite get under the ball as he tries to loft it down the ground, drills it to mid-off

17.5 - Tait to U Akmal, 1 run, shortish outside off, chopped behind backward point

17.4 - Tait to Delport, 1 run, follows Delport with a length ball to cramp him up as he was moving leg-side, he swipes hard but only manages a thick inside edge behind square

17.3 - Tait to Delport, 2 runs, and again. But this time it will only be a couple as the ball is cut off by deep backward square. Short again from Tait and Delport was ready on the back foot to lace it along the carpet through square leg

17.2 - Tait to Delport, SIX, this time he stands his ground and muscles the short ball over the square leg ropes. Boy, he timed that well. Took on the fury of Tait's pace and gave it a fair waft

17.1 - Tait to Delport, no run, moves towards the leg-side and eventually can't reach out for a short and wide delivery

Shaun Tait [3.0-0-19-0] is back into the attack

Over: 17 1 1 1 1 1 1 6 LHQ 134/2
Delport 60(51) U Akmal 41(24) Riaz 3-0-31-0

16.6 - Riaz to Delport, 1 run, Riaz has followed a Delport as he was backing away with a toe-crusher, hits him smack-bang on the boot, might have eked out an inside edge or so the umpire though before the ball dribbles away in front of backward point

16.5 - Riaz to U Akmal, 1 run, short of length delivery outside off, probably an off-cutter, dabbed down to third man

16.4 - Riaz to U Akmal, FOUR, my goodness, that's a scorching stroke. Akmal finds out that playing conventional cricket works at any stage. Length ball slanted away outside off, Akmal prods across and blazes a punch on the up through extra-cover. Raced away

16.3 - Riaz to U Akmal, no run, excellent yorker outside off, Akmal is beaten while trying to squeeze it out

16.2 - Riaz to U Akmal, FOUR, Sammy has been presented with another difficult chance, and he's put it down again. Didn't even get a hand in the end. Pitched up wide of off, Akmal tries to launch it down but gets it right off the bottom of the bat. Goes hard and flat to long-off's right where Sammy covers good ground before diving with both hands but he ended up sticking his arms too far out. Went right between them

16.1 - Riaz to U Akmal, FOUR, flayed away over backward point. Lots of room given with the angle from over the wicket, allows Akmal to just flash his hands at it and carve it over the infield

Wahab Riaz [2.0-0-17-0] is back into the attack

Over: 16 1 LHQ 120/2
U Akmal 28(19) Delport 59(50) Junaid Khan 3-0-21-1

15.6 - Junaid Khan to U Akmal, 1 run, overcooks another attempted yorker into a low-full toss, Akmal drills it to long-on

15.5 - Junaid Khan to Delport, 1 run, fullish just outside off, Delport drives it carefully down to long-off

15.4 - Junaid Khan to Delport, no run, I don't think Delport even saw that. A blatant full toss and it's through Delport before he attempts a push. Almost grazed off-stump on the way to the keeper

15.3 - Junaid Khan to U Akmal, 1 run, length ball just outside off, Akmal is just swinging blindly right now, chops it off the inside edge onto pad and collects a single in front of extra-cover

15.2 - Junaid Khan to U Akmal, 2 runs, a whole-hearted effort from Riaz at third man saves a couple of runs for his team. Ironically enough, it's off the bowling of Junaid - the same man who had costed Riaz via a poor misfield. Length ball outside off, it's outside Akmal's swinging arc, he still goes through with the slog and the resulting outside edge flies away fine. Riaz hurries across and sticks his left arm out to flick it back in

15.1 - Junaid Khan to U Akmal, 2 runs, woah, look at those wrists. He's picked that length ball up from outside off and whipped it over square leg in the gap

Junaid Khan [2.0-0-14-1] is back into the attack

Over: 15 LHQ 113/2
Delport 58(48) U Akmal 22(15) Asghar 3-0-27-0

14.6 - Asghar to Delport, SIX, shocking ball to cap off a rather ordinary over from Asghar. Darts it down leg with the length being very short, Delport moves with the turn and wallops the pull over long-leg to send the umpire's arms skywards

14.5 - Asghar to U Akmal, 1 run, clipped with the angle through mid-wicket

14.4 - Asghar to Delport, 1 run, slashed away to deep cover. Another drag-down with sufficient width on offer, but Delport couldn't quite get hold of it

14.3 - Asghar to Delport, FOUR, a really well assembled half-century from Delport. The importance of this knock can't be stressed enough, on what looks a difficult pitch to bat on. Gets there by slapping a half-tracker behind square with a pull

14.2 - Asghar to U Akmal, 1 run, arm-ball which slides on towards middle and leg, nudged down to long-on

14.1 - Asghar to U Akmal, no run, shortish outside off, doesn't bounce quite enough to satisfy Akmal's expectations and he chops the cut to cover-point

Mohammad Asghar [2.0-0-14-0] is back into the attack

Strategic time-out!

Over: 14 1 Wd LHQ 100/2
Delport 47(45) U Akmal 20(12) Tait 3-0-19-0

13.6 - Tait to Delport, no run, such a clever follow-up delivery. Slower, fuller and wider outside off. Delport's feet are stuck in a blob as he might have expected another throat-seeker and simply sticks out his bat looking to push it away. Beaten on the outside edge

13.5 - Tait to Delport, no run, slips in a brisk bouncer which drives Delport into evasive action. He ducks underneath it just in time to escape

13.4 - Tait to U Akmal, 1 run, uses all the pace on this short of length delivery and glides it to third man

13.3 - Tait to Delport, 1 run, back of a length delivery on middle and leg, clipped in front of mid-wicket for a rushed single. Could have been tricky had the throw at the non-striker's end found its target as Delport was being lazy and plonking his bat rather than sliding

13.2 - Tait to U Akmal, 1 run, short of length delivery wide of off, punched through the covers

13.1 - Tait to Delport, 1 run, worked down to long-on

Shaun Tait [2.0-0-15-0] is back into the attack

U Akmal 18(10) Delport 45(41) Riaz 2-0-17-0

12.6 - Riaz to U Akmal, FOUR, Riaz is a grumpy man. He has every reason to be. His compatriot in the field has let one sneak right under his hands. Driven on the up to the left of mid-off, Junaid ends up over-running the ball with the slide and allows it to go underneath his palms

12.5 - Riaz to U Akmal, 2 runs, shuffles across to a back of a length delivery on the stumps and clips it wide of fine leg before haring back for two

12.4 - Riaz to Delport, 1 run, nudged down to long-on

12.3 - Riaz to Delport, FOUR, short of length delivery angled into the body, Delport moves inside the line of it and simply glances it away fine. Again, once it clears short fine leg, there is no doubting the result

12.2 - Riaz to Delport, FOUR, a good chunk of luck falls Delport's way. Nowhere near short enough to be pulled, Delport still commits to the stroke and nearly chops it on off a thick bottom edge. Instead, the ball whistles past off-stump and past the outstretched arms of the keeper

12.1 - Riaz to Delport, no run, length ball outside off, driven on the up to cover

Wahab Riaz [1.0-0-2-0] is back into the attack

Delport 36(37) U Akmal 12(8) Afridi 2-0-15-0

11.6 - Afridi to Delport, 1 run, might have been the googly which turns after being darted on leg, Delport picks it and works it through mid-wicket

11.5 - Afridi to U Akmal, 1 run, whipped down to long-on

11.4 - Afridi to U Akmal, 2 runs, that's sliced in the air, Sammy runs back from backward point, stretches his arms but can only manage fingertips. Wasn't quick enough to cover the ground, or maybe I am being too harsh? Initially though, Afridi forced Akmal to reach out for an inside out drive by tossing it wider and getting it to dip and he could never really control the stroke. Lives to fight another day

11.3 - Afridi to Delport, 1 run, flatter on the pads, nurdled round the corner

11.2 - Afridi to U Akmal, 1 run, driven with the turn to sweeper cover

11.1 - Afridi to U Akmal, FOUR, that's very very well played. Even Afridi is impressed with the stroke. Created his own length by going deep in the crease and plays the back-cut effectively to hit the smallish gap between short third man and backward point

Over: 11 0 0 4L 0 LHQ 71/2
Delport 34(35) U Akmal 4(4) Sammy 3-0-20-1

10.6 - Sammy to Delport, no run, fullish and slanted away outside off, Delport prods across and drives to extra-cover

10.5 - Sammy to U Akmal, 1 run, allows the off-cutter to come on before dabbing it wide of short third man where the fielder is forced into a slide to stop

10.4 - Sammy to Delport, 1 run, short of length and angled into the body to tuck the batsman up, nudged through mid-wicket

10.3 - Sammy to U Akmal, 1 run, picks a short of length delivery from off and clips it through mid-wicket

10.2 - Sammy to Delport, 1 run, punched down to long-off

10.1 - Sammy to Delport, FOUR, Delport has looked good since coming in. Looks at relative ease on a sluggish pitch. This time transfers his weight back after judging the length early and pulls it behind square off the middle

9.5 - Afridi to U Akmal, 1 run, turning away from a back of a length just outside off, dabbed wide of short third man

9.4 - Afridi to Delport, 1 run, sees it being tossed up very full on leg, nurdles it round the corner

9.3 - Afridi to Delport, no run, no run this time as mid-wicket intercepts the flick and moves across quickly to stop

9.2 - Afridi to U Akmal, 1 run, drifting in with the arm to end up on the pads, nudged wide of mid-wicket

9.1 - Afridi to Delport, 1 run, gives it some air on leg stump, flicked through mid-wicket

Umar Akmal, right handed bat, comes to the crease

8.5 - Sammy to Azhar Ali, out Caught by Tamim!! Azhar looks to heave one out of the park and falls in the process. Didn't get hold of it at all as the bat-face may have turned slightly on impact and lobs it down to long-on. Azhar Ali c Tamim b Sammy 25(26) [4s-3]

Sammy to Azhar Ali, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

8.4 - Sammy to Delport, 1 run, loads of encouragent from the keeper. Keeps yelping "good bowling Sammy" after a short of length delivery is tucked down to long-on

8.3 - Sammy to Azhar Ali, 1 run, fullish on middle, whipped to deep mid-wicket who is quick in skating to his right and prevents the second run

8.2 - Sammy to Delport, 1 run, punched wide of extra-cover

7.6 - Asghar to Delport, 1 run, another one which is fired on leg-stump. Just round-arm darts these with no intention to get turn. Delport ekes out an inside edge onto pad while looking to glance it away and hurries across

7.5 - Asghar to Azhar Ali, 1 run, wristed down to long-on. Not a lot of turn which enables Azhar to close the bat-face without much danger

7.4 - Asghar to Delport, 1 run, short and sliding away outside off, slashed to deep point

7.3 - Asghar to Azhar Ali, 1 run, turns away from a length on off after being fired in, Azhar doesn't commit early, and works it beside the pitch gently before scampering across for a well judged single

7.2 - Asghar to Delport, 1 run, darted down leg, it's well down and could have been a wide had Delport not been so intent on prying and flicking it behind square

7.1 - Asghar to Delport, no run, flatter on off, Delport hangs back and blocks

6.5 - Sammy to Azhar Ali, no run, short ball outside off, hurries onto Azhar's attempted pull and he mistimes it off the splice towards extra-cover

6.4 - Sammy to Delport, 1 run, keeping it on a back of a length, worked through mid-wicket

6.3 - Sammy to Azhar Ali, 1 run, clipped away through mid-wicket

6.2 - Sammy to Delport, 1 run, slower bouncer which grips the surface and actually turns away outside off, Delport rolls his wrists on the ball to control the bounce and swats it down to long-on

4.5 - Riaz to Azhar Ali, 1 run, short of length delivery which manages to rise towards Azhar's mid-riff, he stands on his toes to ride the bounce and clips it to deep backward square

4.4 - Riaz to Azhar Ali, no run, tucked to mid-wicket

4.3 - Riaz to Delport, 1 run, adjusts his pace on seeing Delport give the charge, means that Delport has nothing to work with on the attempted slog and drags it off the inside half of the bat wide of mid-wicket

4.2 - Riaz to Delport, no run, back of a length delivery on off, defensively pushed towards mid-off from the crease

4.1 - Riaz to Delport, no run, that's nearly planted a kiss on the off-stump. Awfully close. Stays a touch low from a length to sneak past the inside edge of Delport's attempted off-drive, and nearly .. so nearly

0.1 - Junaid Khan to Azhar Ali, 2 runs, driven sweetly through the covers. Not even close to a half-volley outside off, Azhar leans across after a good forward stride and plants the full bat-face before threading the ring. Didn't extend his arms though and the ball is chased down

Azhar Ali and Gayle are at the crease. Azhar Ali is on strike. Junaid Khan will open the attack

That's what a cliff-hanger is like. As Afridi mentioned, it opens up the competition nicely with plenty depending on every match. Phew. I need to lie down after this one. Will be back for tomorrow's double header. See you then. Cheers!

Azhar: We needed this win. Was a pressure game for us. The guys held their nerve well. If you don't take catches in this format, you won't win. Just need to be focused and do better in the field. Obviously it was tough. At one stage we got wickets in the middle. But one big over changed it. Before he [Adil] got hit for six, I told him that if you get through this ball we will win, but then he conceded six.

Afridi: Congratulations and credit to Lahore for playing better cricket than us. Dew came into effect and the ball was getting wet so it wasn't that difficult a task. This result opens up the competition nicely.

Delport: We found a bit hard to bat out there. There was a bit for the bowlers and the focus was on building partnerships. Big win for our team. We've played some good cricket but not capitalized on big moments.

Cameron Delport is MOM

Just imagine what Ehsan Adil must have gone through before that final ball. The plethora of emotions. Hoping for the best, while fearing the worst at the same time. And in the end, a low full toss does the trick. Doesn't allow Riaz to get underneath and wins it for his team. What a match we have had here. Tip-toed on either side, sent both dugouts into trauma, before being decided off the final ball. Lahore Qalandars needed this more badly than their rivals to be honest. After putting on a decent score with the bat, they seemed to have pulled things back nicely by picking wickets during the middle overs. But then a partnership blossomed between Malan and Shahid Yousuf which threatened to blow things apart. Ended up being 16 to defend off the final over. A six from Riaz on the fourth ball sent Lahore captain Azhar Ali jumping in agony. However, Adil followed it with two low full tosses which proved to be enough.

19.6 - Ehsan Adil to Riaz, 1 run, Adil has come through the test. Lahore Qalandars do just enough to register their second win in the tournament. It's a low full toss which Riaz can only drag through mid-wicket along the carpet. Woosh, relief

Six required off the final ball! It's happened before, and has often destroyed some careers.

19.5 - Ehsan Adil to Riaz, 2 runs, it's another full toss which hasn't been made optimum use of. Riaz swishes hard but the bat turns on impact and he can only drag it wide of long-on

19.4 - Ehsan Adil to Riaz, SIX, this is crazy! With 14 required off 3, Riaz slaps it straight back over long-off. Adil misses with the yorker, and provides length which is enough for Riaz to swipe hard and get under it

19.3 - Ehsan Adil to Riaz, 2 runs, a dropped catch, but more importantly it's a ball off which a boundary hasn't been scored. Adil changes his plan and bangs it in short, Riaz slices his flat-batted attempt over extra-cover where Azhar runs back but doesn't even get a hand while tumbling down

19.2 - Ehsan Adil to Riaz, no run, excellent delivery. On a yorker length on the stumps, Riaz squeezes it back down the pitch where Adil sticks out a boot and cuts it out

16 off 5 now. Nearly in Lahore's bag

19.1 - Ehsan Adil to Riaz, no run, oh dear. He's missed out on a full toss. It's there to be dispatched on the pads, but Riaz is too late

18.6 - K Cooper to Junaid Khan, no run, slower short of length delivery around off which is chopped off a thick under edge and onto the pitch. The ball doesn't go anywhere despite Junaid nearly swinging off his feet

18.5 - K Cooper to Riaz, 1 run, ha, try hitting that. Speared into the blockhole and Riaz should be credited for keeping it out. They rush across the single as the ball is plugged on the popping crease

18.4 - K Cooper to Junaid Khan, 1 run, now follows Junaid as he backs away, the only thing he can do is pat it down to long-off after being cramped up

18.3 - K Cooper to Junaid Khan, no run, a big swing and miss. Cooper smartly bowled it wide of off seeing Junaid wind up. Wide enough to take it out of his reach

Junaid Khan, right handed bat, comes to the crease

18.1 - K Cooper to Malan, out Lbw!! Indeed, what a massive delivery this could prove to be. Cooper couldn't have bowled a better ball. Cannons it right into the blockhole in line with leg-stump to sneak under Malan's swinging willow and smack him on the back pad. This could go a long way in ensuring a win for Lahore. 17.5 - Dwayne Bravo to Riaz, 1 run, slower ball which grips and bounces spongily to catch the splice of Riaz's forward push, bobs in front of extra-cover. More crazy running which results in a throw at the striker's end. Malan would have been in even with a direct-hit

17.4 - Dwayne Bravo to Malan, 1 run, the bottom hand comes off as Malan is deceived by a slower ball and pushed well in front of the body towards long-off

16.5 - K Cooper to Sammy, out Caught by Zohaib Khan!! The umpires have gone upstairs to check if it's a case of a bump-ball, or has Sammy scooped it straight in the air. No, it's the latter. 15.5 - Ehsan Adil to Malan, SIX, a massive strike which has tilted the balance considerably in favour of Peshawar. Adil resorts to a slower ball which is picked and gobbled by Malan. Backs away slightly and heaves it over wide long-on

15.4 - Ehsan Adil to S Yousuf, 1 run, speared in full around off, Yousuf hammers it to long-on

15.3 - Ehsan Adil to Malan, 1 run, slammed down to long-off. Very full ball which doesn't allow Malan to get underneath it

15.1 - Ehsan Adil to Malan, 1 run, dropped at extra-cover. Tough chance but a chance nonetheless. Full ball outside off, Malan drills it hard to the right of the fielder who dives across and manages to get a hand on it. But can only parry it down to long-off
