West Indies name Charles as a replacement to Darren Bravo

West Indies have named Johnson Charles as a replacement for Darren Bravo afer the latter decided to pull out of the World T20.

The 27 year old is a top order batsman who can also keep wickets. He has featured in 23 T20 Internationals for his side and was also an integral part of the team that won the title in Sri Lanka in 2012.

Charles also went onto score a match winning 84 in the quarter finals against England for which he was awarded the Man of the Match.

Up until now, apart from Darren Bravo, ace spinner Sunil Narine and  Kieron Pollard have puled out of the original squad which will travel to India from March 8 to April 3.

West Indies will face England, South Africa, Sri Lanka and a qualifier in the Super 10 phase of this year's World T20. Their opening fixture against England takes place on March 16 in Mumbai.
