Sri Lanka change squad for remaining ODIs against Zimbabwe

Sri Lanka have made a couple of changes in their squad for the rest of the games to be played against Zimbabwe

The selection committee of Sri Lanka who recently got an extension, have decided to drop the all-rounder Lahiru Madushanka and the left arm spinner Amila Aponso.

Suranga Lakmal and Chamara Kapugedara were added to the squad from the 2nd ODI itself as a replacement for Lasith Malinga and Kusal Mendis.

They were down with Viral flu but yet they both managed to play the 2nd ODI.

Lahiru Madushanka and Amila Aponso both played the first ODI against Zimbabwe. Amila Aponso was a bit expensive in the overs he bowled, whereas Lahiru just faced one ball and bowled 2 overs and they both were dropped for the 2nd ODI.

Squad:

Niroshan Dickwella, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Upul Tharanga, Angelo Mathews (Captain), Asela Gunarathne, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Lakshan Sandakan, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Pradeep, Suranga Lakmal, Akila Dananjaya, Chamara Kapugedara.
