The left arm spinner was found guilty of making inappropriate comments under the influence of alcohol.

A $20,000 fine has been charged by Cricket Australia.

He has been banned from the domestic one day tournament.

However, O’Keefe has offered an unconditional apology and has accepted the sanction, hence avoiding any court hearing.

He said,

“

At an official Cricket NSW function I became intoxicated and made highly inappropriate comments. There is no excuse for this and I take full responsibility and offer an unconditional apology.

”

This is the second time O’Keefe has been fined.
 
Earlier in 2016 he was charged $10,000 by CA during a brawl with a security personnel at a Sydney bar.
