Bangladesh have announced their ODI squad for the series against Sri Lanka.

A 16-man squad has been named, which includes uncapped spinner Sunzamul Islam and allrounder Shuvagata Hom.

Shuvagata Hom last played an ODI in 2011 but his performance in the domestic circuit has earned him a recall.

Rumors were rife that Mahmudullah, who was dropped ahead of the 2nd Test would also be excluded from the ODI and T20 squad but he has been kept in the squad.

Bangladesh have axed Mehedi Hasan and Tanbir Hayder, both spinning allrounders.

The ODI series will commence after the 2nd Test. The 2-match Test series is currently led 1-0 by Sri Lanka.
