When a stubborn Benaud didn't agree with Bradman

The last Test match of the 1958-59 Ashes was played in Melbourne.

Australia won 3 out the first 4 matches and turned this into a dead rubber. But a Test match in The Ashes can never be dead- the intensity doesn't go down one bit.

Just before the captains left the dressing-room for the toss, Bradman walked over to Benaud and said, "It's never been done before, did you know?"

Benaud answered with another question, "What hasn't?"

"No captain has ever sent England in to bat in Australia and won the match."

"Well, there's always a first time, you know,..."

Benaud won the toss and chose to field first. England were skittled out for 205 and Australia went on to win the match by 9 wickets.
