The lucky coin

On the eve of the fifth Test at The Oval in 1961, Australian batsman Norm O'Neill received a 'lucky' coin whose owner hoped that its fortune would rub off. O'Neill was not particularly superstitious but he anyway kept the coin.
He kept it in his pocket and felt for it when, on 19, he was dropped at second slip.
The 'luck' continued till his score reached 117....
