Tony Cozier, before becoming a respected journalist, played a bit of cricket at the school-level.
Wes Hall was a contemporary and was pretty fast even while being at school.
Once Cozier's Lodge School faced Hall's Spartan in the first division of Barbadian Club Cricket.
Cozier opened the batting and hit Hall's first ball through square leg for four.
Almost fifty years later, when Cozier reminded Hall of this incident, the legendary West Indian fast bower chuckled and said, " You lucky you still living! "
