Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

The players are out in the middle.

Earlier, when Williamson and Guptill were batting, the tourists were well-placed to compile a huge total. Wiliamson showed his class by playing some eye-catching strokes. In particular, he took a heavy toll when Morne Morkel was bowling. On the other hand, Guptill struggled a bit for timing, but he too played a few power-packed shots. The deck is offering a bit of help for the seamers, but South Africa should fancy their chances of chasing down the target.

After a superb stand of 68 for the first wicket by Kane Williamson and Martin Guptill, the tourists lost their way and had to settle for a par score. It was the duo of David Wiese and Aaron Phangiso, who shared four wickets between them to peg New Zealand back. Rabada chipped in with a couple of wickets in the last over. AB de Villiers too played his part by taking a stunning catch at mid-on to send Munro back to the pavilion. A couple of run-outs didn't help their cause either.

This is Sidhant Maheshwari, signing off on behalf of Mahesh and Bharath. Ciao!

So, that's all we have for you from this game. The final game of this 2-match T20I series will take place on Sunday. Don't forget to join us then to catch all the action.

Phangiso: 'I only focus on simple things. I just wanted to bowl in the right areas. We were under pressure and the captain asked me to come and bowl. I am glad it worked out. We have made some plans regarding our bowling, especially to the left-handers. I thought that it was important to bowl slower to see whether he goes for it, he did and I am happy that we finished with a win (talking about Williamson's wicket).'

Aaron Phangiso is the Man of the Match for his 2/29

de Villiers: 'Very enjoyable experience. The Durban crowd got behind us and it was great. Now, we go to Centurion and hopefully, we can win the series there. We started pretty slow, but we pulled things back towards the end. Credit to the bowling team for the way they performed tonight, especially Aaron Phangiso, who was really good today. David (Wiese) is a very smart cricketer and his performances have been really good. New Zealand were definiely below par. You need a good foundation at Kingsmead. Morne (van Wyk) and Hash (Hashim Amla) gave us a really good start with the bat and that always helps.'

Williamson: 'After the start we got with the bat, we would have liked some more runs. Full credit to the South Africans for pulling things back. With the personnel we have, you try to play with a game plan that gives you the best chance of winning. Hopefully, we can turn it around in the next one. The way they bowled in the last 10 overs was great. 150 could have been a difficult score had we taken some early wickets, but they planned their innings quite well. We probably didn't take some good options with the bat, we would like to improve in the next game and take it from there.'

In fact, the visitors would rue the fact that they couldn't capitalise on a flying start given by Kane Williamson and Martin Guptill. For a brief period of time, Williamson threatened to take New Zealand to a massive total. Williamson showed his class by essaying some eye-catching flicks and drives. However, just in the nick of time, Phangiso prised out Williamson. With Guptill getting run-out, the visitors then lost their way. Phangiso and Wiese picked up two wickets each. One has to remember that de Villiers' stunning catch to send Colin Munro back to the pavilion also lifted South Africa's spirits. New Zealand need to up their game if they want to to level the series in the next game. The second and the final T20I will be played in Centurion.

South Africa put up a fine all-round show to overcome the tourists in the first T20I. Hashim Amla held the innings together with a steady knock. Rilee Rossouw and AB de Villiers played breezy knocks as the hosts registered a convincing win. When van Wyk was dismissed, New Zealand had a window of opportunity, but the 50-run stand between de Villiers and Amla put the home team in command. Even though, Rossouw and Amla lost their wickets in the end, the Proteas coasted towards an easy win. Doug Bracewell, Mitchell McClenaghan, Adam Milne and George Worker picked up a wicket apiece, but they needed more from their bowlers.

17.5 - Milne to Behardien, FOUR, South Africa take a 1-0 lead in the 2-match series! This was short and slightly wide outside off, Behardien cuts hard, gets it over backward point and it crashes into the fence in no time. Third man didn't stand a chance of stopping that

17.4 - Milne to Behardien, no run, short and outside off, Behardien gets on top of the bounce and cuts it in the air to the left of backward point, don't think it carried to Guptill, who dives across to his left and stops the ball
