Welcome back.. Vinay Kumar has the new ball for MUM. Just one slip in place..

However, Anderson and Pollard checked in a series of shots to lift their sagging spirits. If Pollard mainly looked to play across the line, then Anderson played a few sumptuous shots through the off-side. Pollard even clobbered Tim Southee for 20 runs in a single over. James Faulkner and Southee came in for some severe punishment as Mumbai collected 81 runs in the last five overs.

Corey Anderson and Kieron Pollard landed mighty blows in the end overs to take Mumbai to a good score. Earlier, the Rajasthan camp had a lot to cheer about as the pacers were relentless up front and Mumbai's batsmen were tied in knots. It was Dhawal Kulkarni, who prised out Parthiv Patel. Stuart Binny then generated swing to land a crucial blow by snaffling the wicket of Rohit Sharma.

Strong finish for Mumbai. They've scored 81 runs off the last five overs. Is there quite a bit of dew on the outfield? The bowlers struggled to grip the ball towards the end.

Jagadeesha Suchith 0(1) Shreyas Gopal 1(1) C Morris 4-0-34-1

19.6 - C Morris to Jagadeesha Suchith, byes, 2 runs, sloppy from the Rajasthan. Suchith backs away and swings hard at this full ball, misses, Shreyas Gopal tries to steal a bye, Suchith was late to take off, Samson throws it to the bowler, who then has a shy at the bowler's end, he misses and they get an extra run

19.5 - C Morris to Shreyas Gopal, 1 run, fine yorker from Morris, following Gopal as well as he made room, dug out to mid-on

Shreyas Gopal, right handed bat, comes to the crease

19.4 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, out Bowled!! Knocked him over. Full in length, Anderson looks to slog it hard over mid-wicket, he misses, the ball hits the thigh pad on the back leg and crashes into the stumps. That's a lucky wicket for Morris you would have to say as it was in the slot to be put away. Corey Anderson b C Morris 50(38) [4s-5 6s-3]

C Morris to Corey Anderson, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!

19.3 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, SIX, no! That's not the place to bowl. Low full toss, Anderson muscles it over long-on and brings up his fifty in style

19.1 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, 2 runs, low full toss, Anderson lofts it over the bowler's head and Jagadeesha Suchith races back for the second to get Anderson back on strike

Pollard 70(34) Corey Anderson 38(34) Southee 4-0-46-1

18.6 - Southee to Pollard, out Caught by Nair!! End of a terrific knock from the all-rounder. Full and on the leg stump, Pollard could not get under it, he flicked it uppishly and hit it straight to deep mid-wicket, who took a good low catch. Some respite for Southee. Pollard c Nair b Southee 70(34) [4s-7 6s-5]

Southee to Pollard, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

18.5 - Southee to Pollard, no run, fine yorker, just missed the leg stump, Pollard swung and missed

18.4 - Southee to Pollard, SIX, twenty runs off the over already and still two balls to go. Short ball on the stumps, Pollard pulls and clears the deep square leg boundary. 100 partnership comes up as well

18.3 - Southee to Pollard, FOUR, this is brilliant batting. He was actually backing away initially, on seeing Southee fire a full toss outside off stump, he reached out and smashed it very hard, mid-off had no chance as it rocketed to his right

18.2 - Southee to Pollard, FOUR, four more! Back of a length delivery from Southee, Pollard pulls and gets it behind square on the on-side through backward square leg

18.1 - Southee to Pollard, SIX, whoa! Has that hit the rope on the full? Yes it has! Full from round the wicket, Southee misses the yorker by a yard, Pollard goes deep in the crease and flicks it flat and hard to the deep mid-wicket boundary

Pollard 50(28) Corey Anderson 38(34) Tambe 3-0-25-1

17.6 - Tambe to Pollard, 1 run, low full toss outside off stump, driven to deep extra-cover and that's fifty off just 28 balls for Pollard

17.5 - Tambe to Pollard, 2 runs, Tambe bowls this from way behind the wicket, Pollard steps out and pulls, Rahane tidies up at deep mid-wicket, bit of hesitation between the batsmen as they attempt the second run, the throw isn't good enough as Tambe had to move a long way to his left to collect the ball, Tambe tries to under-arm it onto the stumps but misses

17.4 - Tambe to Corey Anderson, 1 run, googly angled across, Anderson goes hard at it, gets the toe-end of the bat and it rolls to cover-point

17.3 - Tambe to Pollard, 1 run, quicker ball on the leg stump, Pollard slogs with one hand as he loses the bottom hand grip, the ball rolls to deep mid-wicket

17.2 - Tambe to Pollard, 2 runs, full toss, Pollard hits it over the bowler's head, the connection wasn't great again

17.1 - Tambe to Pollard, SIX, that's a mistimed hit from Pollard, but it's cleared long-on. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Pollard slogs and gets it on the inside half of the bat, yet it goes for six

Pravin Tambe [2.0-0-12-1] is back into the attack

MUM have scored 33 runs in the last two overs.

Over: 17 4 6 0 4 1L 2 MUM 116/3

16.6 - Faulkner to Corey Anderson, 2 runs, the back-of-the-hand slower ball goes full, Anderson slogs it wide of long-on, Pollard rushes back and makes his ground just in time before Faulkner took the bails off after collectiing the throw

Round the wicket to Corey Anderson

16.5 - Faulkner to Pollard, leg byes, 1 run, slower ball on the leg stump, Pollard misses the flick, the ball rolls off the thigh pad to backward point. The impact was too high for an LBW shout

16.4 - Faulkner to Pollard, FOUR, friendly full toss, dreadful ball from Faulkner. Pollard backs away and muscles it hard over mid-off and long-off had no chance

16.3 - Faulkner to Pollard, no run, bumper from Faulkner, Pollard backs away, drops his wrists and lets it go

16.2 - Faulkner to Pollard, SIX, even better! Full and outside off stump, Pollard lofts it over extra-cover and the connection is good enough to clear the boundary. What a start to the over

16.1 - Faulkner to Pollard, FOUR, can't bowl short at pace to these two. It's not high enough either, Pollard waits and pulls it very hard to the deep mid-wicket fence

James Faulkner [2.0-1-13-0] is back into the attack

15.5 - Southee to Pollard, 1 run, full and outside off stump, driven to sweeper cover

Round the wicket

15.4 - Southee to Pollard, FOUR, low full toss on the off stump, Pollard is a strong man and his flick is powerful enough and it races away to the deep mid-wicket fence. Fifty of the partnership comes up as well

15.3 - Southee to Corey Anderson, 1 run, this time Anderson drills it to long-off

15.2 - Southee to Corey Anderson, FOUR, oh no! Southee is not hitting the right areas. Tries the slower ball but bowls it too full, Anderson slogs hard, long-on is a little square and he had no chance

15.1 - Southee to Corey Anderson, SIX, he knows Southee very well. Good length delivery right in the slot, that's a gift to his New Zealand team-mate from Southee, Anderson clears his front leg out of the way and goes bangggg over long-on

Time for a strategic timeout

Over: 15 1 1 0 4 1 Nb 1 MUM 83/3
Corey Anderson 24(28) Pollard 19(16) D Kulkarni 3-0-15-1

14.6 - D Kulkarni to Corey Anderson, 1 run, Anderson misses out on the free-hit. Low full toss outside off stump, Anderson drills it to deep cover

14.6 - D Kulkarni to Corey Anderson, no ball, oh no! He's the picked the fielder out to perfection. The umpire checks for the no-ball and oh dear. Has he overstepped? It's very tight. The line belongs to the umpire. The third umpire is taking a long time to make up his mind. The angle from the stump camera shows that there's nothing behind the line. It's a no-ball and that's a lucky escape for Anderson and MUM. Full and outside off stump, Anderson mistimes the loft straight to long-off and gets away with it

14.5 - D Kulkarni to Pollard, 1 run, short of length delivery on the leg stump, Pollard gets an inside edge onto thigh pad and it rolls to square leg

14.4 - D Kulkarni to Pollard, FOUR, one slower ball too many, again on the shorter side, Pollard had a glimpse of it the previous ball, this time he waited, backed away and muscled it with a pull shot to the deep mid-wicket boundary

14.3 - D Kulkarni to Pollard, no run, the slower ball bumper from Kulkarni, Pollard delays the pull and hits it straight to mid-wicket

14.2 - D Kulkarni to Corey Anderson, 1 run, off-cutting slower ball, dabbed to third man

Corey Anderson 22(25) Pollard 13(12) Faulkner 2-1-13-0

13.6 - Faulkner to Corey Anderson, SIX, he's picked the slower ball and deposited it in the stands. It was full and in the slot, Anderson waits and lofts it easily over long-off

13.5 - Faulkner to Corey Anderson, no run, slower ball from Faulkner, Anderson defends

13.4 - Faulkner to Pollard, 1 run, Faulkner bangs it short on seeing Pollard advance, the batsman tries to defend and gets a leading edge, luckily the ball doesn't go to hand at cover

13.3 - Faulkner to Pollard, no run, beaten! Good length delivery outside off stump, Pollard is struggling with the angle away from him and the ball almost shaves the outside edge

13.2 - Faulkner to Pollard, no run, good comeback from Faulkner, short of length angling away from the right-hander, Pollard lets it go. After the ball passed him, Pollard swung his bat in an angry manner for not picking up the ball early

13.1 - Faulkner to Pollard, SIX, wowwww! What a shot that was from Pollard! What power! Just a flick of the wrists as someone would say and away she went. Tell you what, had the fielder at deep mid-wicket been right on the end, he'd have had a chance. Length ball on the leg stump, whipped away nicely, it went flat and all the way

James Faulkner [1.0-1-0-0] is back into the attack

Over: 13 0 4 1 4 0 0 MUM 61/3

12.6 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, no run, back to back of a length, Anderson can only defend off the back foot

12.5 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, no run, that was in the slot again but Morris gets away with it as Anderson fails to connect with the attempted big hit. That should have been in the stands

12.4 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, FOUR, wonder why he tried the slower ball, he was bowling so well in that back of a length region. This one goes full and in the slot, Anderson waits and muscles it down the ground over mid-off for a one-bounce four

12.3 - C Morris to Pollard, 1 run, Samson gets a hand on it and saves three for his side. Looks like Pollard is going to go for his shots. length ball way outside off stump, Pollard looks to go leg-side with a slog, luckily for him the inside edge doesn't go back onto the stumps

12.2 - C Morris to Pollard, FOUR, good shot from Pollard, a controlled shot from him. Full and angling into the right-hander, Pollard just flicks it over the infield, beats the fielder's jump at wide mid-on and picks up four

12.1 - C Morris to Pollard, no run, steeply rising short of length delivery on the off stump, Pollard hops to defend, the ball hits him high on the bat

Wow! One slip and there is a man who is deep at short leg with the helmet on.

10.6 - C Morris to Pollard, no run, inswinger on a fuller length, Pollard falls over on the flick, gets hit on the pad but it was swinging too much and missing leg. Top over from Morris, just a single in it

10.5 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, 1 run, goes hard at the drive again, full and outside off stump, smashed to deep cover

10.4 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, no run, driven very hard as Morris bowls this fuller, but straight to mid-off

10.3 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, no run, and again! Almost hit the glove again. Pollard at the other end too is surprised by the movement off the deck. Back of a length on the stumps, ball jags back in, Anderson just about manages to fend it though

10.2 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, no run, oh this one has jagged back in and hit Anderson on the left hand. The ball hit the glove and he's in pain. He takes the gear off and grimaces in pain. Anderson was trying to cut/guide this short of length delivery, but it nipped back in, bounced extra and foxed him

10.1 - C Morris to Corey Anderson, no run, short of length delivery on the off stump, Anderson goes early into the pull, the ball rolls to slip off the thigh pad

Steven Smith is the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 79

Rohit: 'Talking about this game, we didn't start well with the bat. It was a poor performance with the bat. You have to bat well, if you want to win a game. Thanks to Corey (Anderson) and Pollard for getting us back into the game. We are missing a lot of things and that's why we lost today. It was a decent score, but we had something to bowl to. Rajasthan batted really well, but we got some work to do. We have to take responsibility with the bat and bowl better balls. Finch doesn't look good right now, he will go for a scan tomorrow and only then we will get to know.'

Earlier, Rajasthan's bowlers bowled with unrelenting control to stifle the batsmen and put them in a position of strength. However, Kieron Pollard and Corey Anderson plundered the opposition at will to power the visitors to a competitive total. In fact, Pollard even smacked Tim Southee for 20 runs in the 19th over. In the end though, Mumbai suffered their third loss in a row.

Steven Smith and Ajinkya Rahane played fluent hands as Rajasthan registered their third successive win. Both the batsmen laid the foundation by finding gaps with a precise metre of timing. Even after Rahane was dismissed, Smith played with a calm head on his shoulders to score a fifty and steer them home. In the 17th over, he took on the gauntlet of facing up to Lasith Malinga and collected three boundaries. For Mumbai, Vinay Kumar bowled with good control with the new ball.

The players walk off the field, shaking hands with each other. Smith was all smiles after the decision was displayed on the big screen. Rohit looked disappointed, but his team have been outplayed here

19.1 - Shreyas Gopal to Faulkner, 1 run, flatter delivery from Gopal, Faulkner cracks it towards cover and sets off, the fielder dives to his right, picks the ball and fires the throw at the non-striker's end. Faulkner was struggling to make his ground, but just about makes it in when Shreyas Gopal disturbed the stumps. A direct-hit would have surely been out. The bat was on the line when the bowler hit the stumps, but it was inconclusive whether the bails were completely off the groove and Faulkner got the benefit of the doubt

Is that a run-out? The third umpire has been pressed into service but looks like Faulkner has made his ground. Have the bails been dislodged before Faulkner got his bat in? Looks touch and go, but the umpire deems it to be 'Not Out'. Rajasthan win the match, 3 out of 3 wins for them. Mumbai, on the other hand, have lost 3 in 3.
