Throughout the tournament, HYD bowlers have been impressive. It will be interesting to see how they fare tonight when the batters have not provided them with cushion of enough runs on the board. Will they run through the opposition or 'fizz' out? The players are making their way out to the centre. Bhuvi has a slip in place

"It came on well with the new ball, but throughout the tournament the wickets have slowed up once the ball gets older. We have the batters to do it, so hopefully we'll get it," remarks Coulter-Nile.

So, DEL are looking at a target of 147 to overhaul. We shall see how they come to terms with the chase against a good HYD attack in the latter's backyard.

The HYD middle order will be disappointed though with their performance. Williamson held one end up with his knock of 27 but support from the other end eluded him throughout. They collapsed from 98/1 in 12.5 overs to 143/8 in 19.5. Amit Mishra spun a nice web around the batsmen in the middle overs as he picked up two wickets in that period. Shami was impressive in his second spell as he kept the runs down and took one wicket. Chris Morris as usual was great in the middle and death overs giving away runs at an economy of 4.75.

HYD skipper David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan helped their team to a good start yet again. The duo racked up 67 runs in 8.5 overs. In the process David Warner also reached 3000 T20 League runs, the second overseas player after Chris Gayle to have reached that milestone. He scored 46 off 30 balls at an impressive strike rate of 153.

Nehra 1(1) Barinder 1(1) Coulter-Nile 4-0-25-2

19.6 - Coulter-Nile to Nehra, 1 run, slower length ball outside off, it's enough to deceive Nehra who is early into the slog, tries to adapt by holding the batswing and checks it to deep mid-wicket for a single

19.6 - Coulter-Nile to Barinder, no ball, 1 run, another high full toss, and this one's way too high. Barinder couldn't do much with it and sliced it straight back to the bowler, but NCN knew. He took the catch and straightaway turned back dejected knowing what the call would be. Nehra on strike for the free-hit, as they crossed

Ashish Nehra, right handed bat, comes to the crease

19.5 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, out Caught by Samson!! Another full toss, gosh, what's happening to these specialized death bowlers? Yesterday, it was Jordan and now NCN. Never mind, it's done the job. Ojha has flogged it straight to deep backward square. The umpires check for the height on it but it's below waist. N Ojha c Samson b Coulter-Nile 7(9) [4s-1]

Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

19.4 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, no run, slower bouncer outside off, the bounce is tennis ball-ish and loops over Ojha's attempted cut

19.3 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, 1 run, again NCN fails to execute the yorker, bowls a full toss on the stumps. Ojha flicks it through the mid-wicket region and rushes back for the second. Oh wait, the umpire has adjudged it as one run short

19.2 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, no run, low full toss just outside off, driven straight to cover

19.1 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, FOUR, short ball with a lot of width on offer, Ojha slashes a cut which travels at the speed of light behind backward point. What was it, 3 X 10 raised to the power something. Never did well with Physics

Barinder Sran, left handed bat, comes to the crease

N Ojha 2(4) Bhuvneshwar 1(2) C Morris 4-0-19-1

18.6 - C Morris to N Ojha, out Bhuvneshwar Run Out!! Just too good. Excellent yorker which Ojha somehow squezes onto pad off an inside edge. The ball goes nowhere, but they have to go for the single for Ojha to retain strike. Morris already has a head-start over Bhuvi courtesy his followthrough. Reaches the ball first and side-foots it onto the stumps. All those warm up football sessions paying off. Bhuvneshwar run out (C Morris) 1(2)

C Morris to N Ojha, THAT'S OUT!! Run Out!!

18.5 - C Morris to Bhuvneshwar, 1 run, now it's Morris with the dipping full toss. Boy, this is catching on. Bhuvneshwar is puzzled by it and can only steer it wide of backward point

18.4 - C Morris to Bhuvneshwar, no run, almost in the blockhole outside off, Bhuvneshwar steers it to backward point. No run there

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, right handed bat, comes to the crease

18.3 - C Morris to Williamson, out Bowled!! A quick full toss, at 146ks, rattles the timber. Williamson had backed away too far looking to go inside out but couldn't connect. Williamson b C Morris 27(24) [4s-3]

C Morris to Williamson, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

18.2 - C Morris to N Ojha, 1 run, low full toss outside off, driven through the covers. His bottom hand came off and he couldn't generate much power

18.1 - C Morris to N Ojha, no run, Ojha walks a fair way across off and is offered a full toss, but he can't lay bat on ball. Looks at the umpire expecting a wide but it might have brushed some pad on the way to de Kock

17.6 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, 1 run, climbing short of length delivery around off, Ojha gets on his toes to ride the bounce and dabs it wide of backward point

Naman Ojha, right handed bat, comes to the crease

17.5 - Coulter-Nile to Deepak Hooda, out Hit Wkt!! Hooda has gone so far back that his back foot ends up stomping on the stumps. Such a rare event in cricket, but now we have had 2 already in this T20 League. An innocuous slower back of a length delivery in line with off and middle, Hooda glances it towards short fine leg but not without breaking the stumps. Deepak Hooda hit wkt b Coulter-Nile 10(9) [4s-1]

Coulter-Nile to Deepak Hooda, THAT'S OUT!! Hit Wkt!!

17.4 - Coulter-Nile to Williamson, 1 run, full ball angled in on the pads, flicked behind square

17.3 - Coulter-Nile to Deepak Hooda, 1 run, slower short ball, Hooda fails to make use of the free-hit as he pulls it straight to fine leg

17.3 - Coulter-Nile to Deepak Hooda, no ball, FOUR, lovely shot. He makes room but is denied the same by NCN who follows him with a full ball. But Hooda is defiant. Slices the drive through the off-side ring, where everyone is up in the circle. What's more, NCN has overstepped as well

17.2 - Coulter-Nile to Williamson, 1 run, slower short ball just outside off. Williamson ramps it down to third man

17.1 - Coulter-Nile to Deepak Hooda, 1 run, length ball outside off, Hooda toe-ends the drive back down the pitch where NCN can only make a half-stop

Williamson 25(21) Deepak Hooda 4(5) C Morris 3-0-17-0

16.6 - C Morris to Williamson, FOUR, look at how he's used the wrists to maneouver the ball over mid-wicket. First Williamson walked across outside off, then he picked a fullish ball and whipped it over the infield to split the field in the deep

16.5 - C Morris to Deepak Hooda, 1 run, goes in the air with an on-drive, or maybe he was trying to go straight back over the bowler's head but the bat turned in his hands on impact and he ended up dragging it down to long-on

16.4 - C Morris to Williamson, 1 run, full length just outside off, Williamson mistimes the drive to mid-off

16.3 - C Morris to Deepak Hooda, 1 run, shortish outside off, Hooda goes hard on the cut and chops it to the right of backward point. There's a mid-pitch collision between the batsmen who can't steer clear of each other despite their best efforts, but the ball is too far wide of backward point to capitalize

16.2 - C Morris to Deepak Hooda, no run, full ball following Hooda as he backs away, flicks it to short mid-wicket

16.1 - C Morris to Williamson, 1 run, Williamson backs away to make room and frees his arms on a length ball looking to carve it over the covers. He ends up going too far wide, gets it off the toe-end and slices it in front of sweeper cover

Williamson 20(18) Deepak Hooda 2(2) Shami 3-0-27-1

15.6 - Shami to Williamson, 1 run, leg bye, a low full toss pings Williamson on the pad but it's going down leg which is why Shami's appeal is turned down. Oh, okay. No signal from the umpire. Might have been an inside edge

15.5 - Shami to Deepak Hooda, 1 run, short ball outside off, good bounce off this sporting track. Hooda makes optimum use of it by arching his back and ramping it down to third man

15.4 - Shami to Williamson, 1 run, hops back in the crease to a short of length delivery and tucks it through square leg

15.3 - Shami to Deepak Hooda, 1 run, picks a length ball from outside off and whips it through mid-wicket

Deepak Hooda, right handed bat, comes to the crease

15.2 - Shami to Henriques, out Lbw!! The ball has skid on, all evening, with the sheen on the pitch. Henriques is startled by the rapidity with which it comes to him. Rather than being forward to a length ball, he's caught on the crease and is late to bring the bat down. Thuds him right on the knee-roll in front of middle. Height is the only issue but with him being so far back, the ball doesn't have much distance to travel. Gone! Henriques lbw b Shami 0(1)

14.6 - Mishra to Yuvraj, out Caught by Rishabh Pant!! A real QUICK cross-seam ball from Mishra has consumed another Indian leftie. Fired on a back of a length on the pads, Yuvraj is startled by the pace on it - so much so that he rushes into flicking it away and spoons it off a leading edge. The ball loops up in front of backward square leg, Pant is the man there, never looked settled and ended up having to dive forward, but he holds his cool and grabs it safely. Yuvraj c Rishabh Pant b Mishra 8(8) [6s-1]

14.4 - Mishra to Yuvraj, no run, flatter on the pads, flicked to mid-wicket

14.3 - Mishra to Yuvraj, no run, fires a googly short and wide outside off, Yuvraj tries to chase it but can't reach out. Good that he didn't, as it's a wide

14.2 - Mishra to Yuvraj, SIX, that YUVRAj flourish is certainly back. Just a shimmy down the track, his big strides get him close to the ball and negates the risk of playing against the turn of a googly. And then he simply extends his arms to launch the ball in an arc over long-on

13.6 - Shami to Yuvraj, no run, excellent yorker to finish the over. Tests Yuvraj's high backlift but the southpaw is up to the challenge

13.5 - Shami to Williamson, leg byes, 1 run, spears a length ball on leg, Williamson is late on the stroke again. Gets thudded on the pad and picks a leg-bye

13.4 - Shami to Williamson, FOUR, rising short ball angled in towards Williamson's chest, ends up hurrying him on the pull. Catches a bit of glove and loops over de Kock into the fence

13.3 - Shami to Yuvraj, 1 run, short ball which isn't a bad option early to Yuvraj. But he plays this one well. It was rising towards his rib-cage, and he controlled the pull along the ground through mid-wicket

13.2 - Shami to Williamson, 1 run, short and wide, cut away firmly to deep point

13.1 - Shami to Yuvraj, 1 run, hops towards the off-side to a short of length delivery and glances it down to fine leg

Dhawan 34(37) Williamson 11(11) Mishra 2-0-12-1

12.6 - Mishra to Dhawan, out Caught by Samson!! Mishra strikes with a quick cross-seam delivery. Darts it on a shortish length, 114ks, hits close to the sticker on Dhawan's bat as he tries to slog and lobs up in front of deep mid-wicket where Samson runs in and pouches it safely before tumbling over. Real good catch this as he was on the move when he grabbed it. Dhawan's laboured knock comes to an end. Never looked in any kind of rhythm. Dhawan c Samson b Mishra 34(37) [4s-3]

Mishra to Dhawan, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

12.4 - Mishra to Williamson, no run, punched to short cover

12.3 - Mishra to Dhawan, 1 run, length ball just outside off, it's the googly and extracts more bounce. Dhawan is on his back knee as soon as he reads the length, then counters the bounce by rolling his wrists and sweeps it through square leg

0.6 - Jayant Yadav to Dhawan, 1 run, gently turns this one in front of square and sets off. A direct hit at the striker's end would have been interesting as Warner had to stretch to make his ground in the end

0.5 - Jayant Yadav to Dhawan, 2 runs, sinks down this time and meets the pitch of the delivery with the sweep, sends it down towards deep square leg for a couple of runs

0.4 - Jayant Yadav to Dhawan, no run, this one skids off the surface, looked like an arm-ball. Dhawan was beaten on the pull, the ball was anyway going down the leg-side, thus the muted appeal did not impress the umpire

0.3 - Jayant Yadav to Warner, 1 run, fires it on the stumps, Warner uses the depth of the crease and works towards square leg

0.2 - Jayant Yadav to Dhawan, 1 run, tossed this one a bit, Dhawan nudged it past a diving mid-wicket fielder towards mid-on

Slip in place now, long off as well

0.1 - Jayant Yadav to Warner, 1 run, round the wicket he comes and bowls it flat, Warner thumps it to the man at deep extra cover for a single

Warner and Dhawan are at the crease. Warner is on strike. Jayant Yadav will open the attack

That brings an end to HYD's winning streak of four matches. DEL were coming off back-to-back defeats and needed this to lift their morale. What a convincing performance! With this, they overtake a bunch of teams and take third spot on the points table. Expect these exchange of positions to continue all the way down to the end. For now, it's time to wrap up our coverage. This is Sagar Chawla saying goodbye on behalf of Abhishek Chaudhary and our scorer Reddy. Cheers!

"A good day for us. The boys turned up beautifully, the break was helpful to charge our batteries. NCN (Nathan Coulter-Nile) ran in hard for today. I take my hat off to him for the way he steamed in. And Shami bowled well especially after the start they got. My job in the team is to bowl fast, and keep the run rate down. It's very refreshing to be honest. No jokes, the bats are massive," says Man of the Match Chris Morris

"It had its ups and downs. The back part of our bowling innings, we did exceptionally well. They had a great start, a great platform, but the way we came back was exceptional. We bank on those two to strike for us (NCN and Morris). But even Shami bowled well. It was a collective bowling effort. The guys have been responding pretty well (to the horses for courses approach), understanding what the best XI is considering the opposition and conditions. That's the mindset we are taking into every game. It's all about the team in the end. It's a short tournament and you have to put your best foot forward so we'll see how it goes. The youngsters have been performing very well, it's all about backing them. And they've been responding very well and it's been a delight for me to watch them," says Duminy.

"Not at all. We have won a couple of games batting first. We were 20-30 runs short. At 80/1 off 10 you expect to get atleast 170. They bowled terrifically and our batters couldn't get the job done today. I'm happy with that (the opening stand), but need a couple of guys to take responsibility to keep going. We'll try and address that situation in the middle period of the innings and come back fresh. We've got fantastic support in Hyderabad and thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting us," says Warner.

As easy as you like. It was all a one-way traffic. HYD were not given a whiff during the chase. After losing Mayank early, de Kock and Karun set up the chase for DEL with a fine 55-run stand for the second wicket. The South African mixed caution and aggression beautifully (mostly the latter), and found the boundaries with enviable ease. Just when DEL were coasting towards the target, Henriques landed a double-blow to dismiss both the set batsmen in his second over. But Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant kept them on track with sensible batting and landed crunching blows to canter DEL home in the end. HYD bowlers were off-color today, even the reliable Fizz didn't look threatening. With this win, DEL are now placed third in the points table.

Nehra has an arm over Pant's shoulder, having an engaging conversation by the looks of it, as the players leave the field. So good to see. Both are from Delhi and at the end of the day, the senior pro is sharing his wisdom. That's what this T20 League is about.

18.1 - Yuvraj to Samson, SIX, and that's it! Two young Indian batsmen have closed off the game for their team. Flat and sliding in towards middle, Samson heaves it with the angle over cow corner

17.5 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, SIX, low full toss on the pads, really ordinary from Mustafizur, and he has been given the appropriate treatment as Pant whips it over deep mid-wicket. Wow!

17.4 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, no run, back of a length delivery around off, Pant mistimes the heave to mid-wicket

17.3 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, FOUR, full ball and Pant has launched it over mid-off. Sensational batting from the 18-year old. Presents the full face and punches it over the infield

17.2 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, 2 runs, slightly fuller than a good length just outside off, Pant tries to whack it across the line with a brutal heave but the length is a bit too full for it. Ends up dragging it off the inside half of the bat to long-on. And now, there's more. A direct-hit from the deep deflects the ball away from any nearby fielders and they take an overthrow

Mustafizur needs to do something out of this world here to give his team a semblance of a chance. Pick a hat-trick or something.

17.1 - Mustafizur to Samson, 1 run, low full toss on the pads, flicked through square leg. It's one of those cutters from Mustafizur but he's faltered in both line and length

That 14-run over from Bhuvi seals the game. Can't see HYD even as much as put a sweat on DEL's forehead. 16 needed from 18. Meanwhile, Pant is taking some time off after that blow. Lucky that it came off an inside edge, and did not hit him directly which would have been worse. Still, those hurt. He's set to continue now...

16.6 - Bhuvneshwar to Rishabh Pant, no run, Pant is hit ON THE BOX as a punishment for misjudging the length of a delivery which isn't short enough to pull. The ball drops right at his feet

16.5 - Bhuvneshwar to Samson, 1 run, opens the bat-face on a slower leg-cutter outside off, and runs it down to third man

16.4 - Bhuvneshwar to Samson, 2 runs, another similar slower short of length delivery, only that this one doesn't rise that much. Samson clips it in between long-on and deep mid-wicket and again hares back for two. Brilliant running

16.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Samson, 2 runs, slower short of length delivery just outside off, Samson rises with it and tucks it behind square for a brace. It's young legs out there and they won't miss out

16.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Samson, wide, slips in a bouncer over Samson's right shoulder as he sinks underneath, and just when you thought that it was a good surprise ball at this stage, up go the umpire's arms for a wide

16.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Rishabh Pant, 1 run, it's a low full toss on middle and Pant has whipped it crisply to deep mid-wicket. Gee, this guy is looking a million dollars tonight

16.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Rishabh Pant, wide, and now Bhuvi is spooked into bowling it very wide of off. Attempted the back of a length off-cutter but strayed a bit too much in line. Wided

16.1 - Bhuvneshwar to Rishabh Pant, SIX, now this is a killing blow! It vaporizes many of the HYD hopes. And what a time to do it too, right off the first ball of Bhuvi's over to put him under the sword. Bhuvi bowls length around middle and leg, Pant clears his front leg and heaves it over cow corner

30 needed off the final four overs. This should be Delhi's game but don't count the home side out just yet. Not with what they have achieved this season so far.

11.5 - Henriques to Samson, 2 runs, shuffles a bit to get inside the line of a short of length delivery and helps it fine. Fine leg has a lot of work to do and the batsmen have enough time to come back for two

11.4 - Henriques to Samson, no run, takes a couple of steps down but Henriques sees him coming and delivers it on a short of length, tucked to mid-wicket

11.3 - Henriques to Samson, SIX, goodness gracious, what a blow! Where's that come from? It was a short ball, away from the reach of de Kock, he tried to play the ramp shot and missed. He might have needed a ladder to reach it. In fact, de Kock lost his helmet while trying to get bat on ball and probably the umpire was fooled by the clicking sound made by the helmet as it came off. Ojha looked convinced that de Kock edged, Henriques joined late in the appeal but eventually Hyderabad got the wicket they wanted. Huge blow.
