Warner: "It's obviously nice to be the leading run scorer. But it is my job to get the team off to a good start. Me and Skihar (Dhawan) have been able to do that. Credit to the curator for producing such a wicket. Ashish bowled a very crucial over that changed the game. Earlier in the day, David Warner's explosion of fireworks gave HYD a rollicking start. Eoin Morgan and Shikhar Dhawan too played fine knocks as the home team reached a massive total. With this victory, HYD now have four wins out of eight games, while CHN continue to be placed at top of the points table.
HYD's bowlers snared wickets at regular intervals to overcome their fancied opponents. It was Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who landed the decisive blow early in the innings by cleaning up Brendon McCullum. However, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Smith, Faf du Plessis and MS Dhoni kept them in the hunt. It was in the 13th over when the game turned on its head as du Plessis and Dhoni were dismissed. Despite Dwayne Bravo's efforts, CHN then hurtled towards a defeat.
