Rohit Sharma marks his guard. Parthiv Patel stares at the cameras with his hand on his hip. Zak has the ball in hand...One slip

McClenaghan: "We have held it together well. I think I have got hit for most number of sixes, but bowling top balls up front is crucial. I am trying to support Southee. He is hitting great lengths and hopefully, he can get the rewards. I think it will come down to the start we can get today."

Just when Mumbai had things in control, Sanju Samson and JP Duminy resurrected the innings with a steady 71-run stand. Samson essayed a few sublime shots and struck his fifth T20 League fifty. He perished trying to up the ante in the 16th over. Mumbai missed the services of Hardik Pandya with the ball after he collided with Jos Buttler and was taken off the field. McClenaghan bowled with precision and picked up a couple of wickets. The pitch looks two paced and batting is not going to be easy. Join us in a short while for the run chase....

JP Duminy's fireworks in the last over lift Delhi to 164. They were off to an auspicious start with their man in-form and centurion from last game, Quinton de Kock cracking a couple of boundaries off the first two balls of the innings. However, McClenaghan removed the dangerous de Kock in the next over. Shreyas Iyer looked scratchy and couldn't get going as he threw his wicket away. Karun didn't last long too.

Negi 10(10) Duminy 49(31) Bumrah 4-0-42-0

19.6 - Bumrah to Negi, 2 runs, Negi flat-bats it to long-on for a brace. DEL have amassed a good score on the board. However, the deck is flat and MUM can still chase this down. It should turn out to be a cracker of a contest

19.6 - Bumrah to Duminy, no ball, drama in the middle, as Duminy loses his wicket, but wait, the umpire is checking for the no-ball for height. What I see? It was above waist's height and the TV umpire confirms the same. The MUM camp, especially Rohit is not happy, but Bumrah has to bowl another delivery and what more? It will be a free-hit. Bumrah ushers in a full toss, Duminy attempts to hoick it across the line, he gets a top-edge and Parthiv pouches it, but turns out to be a no-ball. As the catch was taken, the run won't count

19.5 - Bumrah to Duminy, SIX, low full toss from Bumrah, Duminy sinks on one knee and scoops it over the keeper's head for a six. Lovely execution from the batsman there. He is picking all the variations today

19.4 - Bumrah to Negi, 1 run, yorker from Bumrah, Negi squeezes it out for a quick single

19.3 - Bumrah to Negi, FOUR, crash, bang and wallop from Negi. Bumrah bangs it short, Negi backs away and hammers it to the mid-wicket fence. In fact, it was the slower short one from Bumrah, but Negi picked it up right from the hand

19.2 - Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, Duminy shimmies across the stumps, but Bumrah follows with a very full delivery, Duminy ekes out an inside edge to cover-point. Bumrah comes up with a muted appeal for LBW, but turned down

18.6 - McClenaghan to Duminy, 2 runs, full and straight from McClenaghan, Duminy bunts it down to long-off for a brace. Duminy and Negi have run the opposition ragged by scampering across the length and breadth off the pitch

18.3 - McClenaghan to Negi, leg byes, 1 run, now, that was a good short delivery by McClenaghan. McClenaghan steams into the crease and bends his back to crank in a short ball, Negi aims to pull. The ball gets big on him, it hits the splice of the bat and then onto the helmet. Negi steals a leg-bye to short third man

17.5 - Bumrah to Duminy, 2 runs, excellent running between the wickets by the pair facilitates DEL to pick up a duece. Duminy eases it to sweeper cover and immediately calls for a two. His partner responds in earnest. Despite the fielder at cover ushering in a throw at the bowler's end and Bumrah whipping the bails off, Negi had made his ground with a dive

17.4 - Bumrah to Negi, 1 run, the off-cutter from Bumrah, Negi, with soft hands pats it down the pitch and steals a quick single. Duminy was alert there

17.4 - Bumrah to Negi, wide, the slower one attempted by Bumrah, but gets his radar wrong by drifting it down leg, Negi misses with his clip

17.3 - Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, Duminy uses the depth of the crease to convert what was a potential yorker into a very full delivery and steers it to cover

17.1 - Bumrah to Duminy, FOUR, Duminy shows deft touch to add one more four to his kitty. Fuller length delivery and in that channel outside off, Duminy moves around the crease and nicely pats it to third man, where the fielder puts in a desperate dive, but does not succeed in his endeavour

Wait, the TV umpire has been beckoned and they are now checking whether his front foot is behind the line. He is fine there. It also turns out to be a full toss that is not above waist height. 15.1 - Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, low full toss and just outside off, Duminy drives it all along the carpet to backward point, who does not pick up the ball cleanly and as a result, Duminy pinches a single. 12.4 - Krunal Pandya to Samson, FOUR, oh! Boy! Hardik Pandya looks in trouble there. He and Buttler have met with a horrible collision at deep backward square leg and Hardik seems to be in pain. Hardik was hit on the jaw, while Buttler hurt his right shoulder to an extent. He is still down on the ground and MUM's players have circled around him. I hope he will be fine. It was a good length delivery and on the stumps, Samson sweeps it to deep backward square leg, Buttler from deep mid-wicket and Hardik from fine leg ran around the boundary rope and collided. So, Delhi ride on youth to continue the charge and Mumbai will look to rebuild their campaign for the nth time, like they do every season. That's it we have from this game. Hop tabs to catch the buildup and toss quotes for the HYD-PUN game. Cheers and goodbye from Pratyush Sinha on behalf of Bharath Ramaraj and Naga. Ta-ta!

Rohit Sharma hasn't spoken. So if you're waiting for his quotes, I fear we have none.

"Feels really good to be a part of this team. Me and JP walked in and talked about having a good partnership because we needed to get a good score. He gave great support. We are doing well as a team and hope we can continue," says Sanju Samson who is our Man of the Match

Zaheer: "It was difficult if you hit the right areas. The plan was to use the bowlers nicely. The game was going to go on till the last over, that's what I felt in the beginning. It was about executing our plans and keeping 2-3 overs of legspin for Pollard and Buttler. Samson and JP played really well - took their time. They took the responsibility because we played an extra bowler today. It's tough when you have a big break but we are happy with the processes and making sure that practice sessions are not lengthy. There's lot of excitement; always is when you have a young team."

Delhi held their nerve to pip Mumbai by a mere 10 runs. With Rohit Sharma in the middle, MUM looked set to cross the finish line. However, riding on Amit Mishra's box of tricks and Chris Morris as well as Zaheer Khan's pounding yorkers, DEL were able to usurp their formidable foes. There was also drama in the middle with Rohit and Hardik colliding mid-pitch, resulting in Rohit's run-out. Earlier, Sanju Samson and Duminy crunched enterprising knocks to ensure DEL would end up with a good total.

19.6 - C Morris to Hardik Pandya, 1 run, Mumbai fail to chase. There's another win batting first. That's the headline, not Delhi's win; they were already on a roll. High full toss but not an iota of pace on that, Pandya throws his bat, puts in enough power for the bottom hand to come off and slaps an insufficient single to long-off. Here's something interesting: In the last 14 T20 League matches in Delhi, only three games have been lost while chasing - all three by Mumbai Indians. Beat that eerie stat...and Mumbai versus Delhi continues

19.5 - C Morris to Southee, 1 run, this is awesomeness. Kung Fu Panda level. Dips a yorker in front of the bat, gets it skewed off the inside half onto the pad...and it's all over

1.6 - Shami to Rayudu, FOUR, guess what, he makes up for it. Had chased a ball outside off, this time had his weight on the front foot and took his length ball on the up. A mere extention of the arm to caress this through covers

1.5 - Shami to Rayudu, no run, beaten again. Good pace and gets it to move off the deck outside off. And in T20s, that's enough to beat the outside edge

Ambati Rayudu, right handed bat, comes to the crease

1.4 - Shami to Parthiv Patel, out Parthiv Patel Run Out!! 1 run completed. Iyer! Runs across from the deep square leg, gathers the ball and uses his robotic arm to pummel the throw back. Parthiv thought that his mistimed pull would fetch him two, calls for it but his dive wasn't enough. Such good was the throw. Parthiv Patel run out (Shreyas Iyer/de Kock) 1(4)

Shami to Parthiv Patel, THAT'S OUT!! Run Out!!

1.3 - Shami to Parthiv Patel, no run, stays put, opens up with the angle and stabs the ball straight to cover-point

1.2 - Shami to Parthiv Patel, no run, was cramped for room and ends up chopping one over the stumps. Could have been curtains but Kotla's pitch for once obliged..

1.1 - Shami to Parthiv Patel, no run, length on off, jumps back and blocks it into the pitch

Mohammed Shami, right-arm fast medium, comes into the attack

Rohit 8(6) Parthiv Patel 0(0) Zaheer 1-0-8-0

0.6 - Zaheer to Rohit, FOUR, not this time! Oh Rohit. Silly one moment and a master the other. Takes this length ball on the up, pins it off the middle and chips it over extra cover

0.5 - Zaheer to Rohit, no run, and again. Another one with fingers rolled across the ball, Rohit was more opened up this time to dab the ball to third man. Not to be. The ball ducks out after pitching and Rohit comes second again

0.4 - Zaheer to Rohit, no run, and another. Two in two. Bowls the cutter wide this time, makes Rohit reach out and beats the outside edge again

0.3 - Zaheer to Rohit, no run, scorcher. Good old days. Length ball zooting away with the angle, Rohit looks to block with flat feet and sees the ball climbing past his outside edge. A big, big appeal from de Kock but the umpire turns a (harsh) deaf ear to it

0.2 - Zaheer to Rohit, no run, horror to follow. Taps the ball and runs through. Parthiv Patel responded but then had to turn back and rush back in to beat that throw from mid-wicket. Misses and it's a stunning stop by Samson at mid-off

0.1 - Zaheer to Rohit, FOUR, wow. That's the delicatest of warm-ups you will see. Length ball on middle and leg, it's just a tame tuck and the ball vrooms through backward square

Rohit and Parthiv Patel are at the crease. Rohit is on strike. Zaheer will open the attack
