Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

Welcome back.. 119 looks easy on paper but we have already seen teams struggling to chase down modest scores. Sandeep has the new ball.. Just one slip in place

Zaheer: "I have got enough patience. I never let it go. It has been a tough year, keep believing that I could still play. There is a little voice in me which said - you can't let it go now. Happy to be back playing. The pitch is two-paced, a bit on the slower side. It is important for the batters to get in and stay right throughout the innings. I'm sure I won't (when Russel Arnold told him hopefully he won't be needed to bat).'

For the hosts, if Zaheer took a couple of wickets up front, then the likes of JP Duminy, Coulter-Nile and Amit Mishra backed him up by bowling parsimoniously. The track is offering help for the bowlers as there is uneven bounce. But for PUN to win this game, they need to jolt the home team by taking wickets with the new ball.

DEL put up a brilliant effort with the ball to restrict the opposition to a paltry total. Once Zaheer Khan produced a double strike to rock the top-order, PUN never recovered. Virender Sehwag, Manan Vohra, Shaun Marsh and Wriddhiman Saha all registered single-digit scores. George Bailey and David Miller tried to resurrect the innings. After Bailey was dismissed, Miller and Axar Patel landed meaty blows to strung together a decent partnership and take them to a score of some respectability.

Anureet Singh 8(3) SN Thakur 7(6) Tahir 3-0-36-0

19.6 - Tahir to Anureet Singh, SIX, the final delivery has gone for six. Sees the tossed up delivery outside off, shuffles across and then swings across the line, got enough bat to send it all the way. That is a nice finish to the innings, even though 118 is still not enough

19.5 - Tahir to SN Thakur, 1 run, very full on the stumps, Thakur plays it to long-on

19.4 - Tahir to Anureet Singh, 1 run, Yuvi has dropped a biscuit of a catch. That simple really. Incomprehensible. Anureet Singh reached out and sliced it straight up in the air, perhaps Yuvi at point peddling back took it easy. Got both hands over his head but dropped it. Can't quite believe that he has dropped that

19.3 - Tahir to SN Thakur, 1 run, very full outside off, carved straight to the fielder at long-off

19.2 - Tahir to SN Thakur, no run, flat and sliding down leg, Thakur flicks and misses. Would've gone down

19.1 - Tahir to Anureet Singh, 1 run, low full toss on the stumps, Anureet closes the face of the bat too early and gets a leading edge that falls well in front of cover

Imran Tahir [2.0-0-26-0] is back into the attack

SN Thakur 5(3) Anureet Singh 0(0) Coulter-Nile 4-0-20-4

18.6 - Coulter-Nile to SN Thakur, FOUR, now an inside edge to a full toss on the stumps runs away to fine leg. The fielder was inside the ring and it beat him. Coulter-Nile missed the yorker that time

18.5 - Coulter-Nile to SN Thakur, no run, right through Thakur's defences. But misses leg. Coulter-Nile is following the batsman and this full one isn't far away from leg stump

Anureet Singh, right handed bat, comes to the crease

18.4 - Coulter-Nile to D Miller, out Caught by S Tiwary!! Now straight to the fielder at deep point. How often do you see that? When Miller hit it, I thought it was six. Full and wide outside off, Miller carved that with an open face and the weight was back as he leant back on the shot. Carried expertly to the fielder. Another catch taken without moving a muscle. D Miller c S Tiwary b Coulter-Nile 42(41) [4s-4 6s-1]

Coulter-Nile to D Miller, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

18.3 - Coulter-Nile to SN Thakur, 1 run, angling in, full and follows Thakur, who digs the ball out to the left of mid-wicket

Zaheer is clearly the bowling leader of this group. He is seen talking to Coulter-Nile and Duminy about what fields to set. Good to see Zak involved

18.2 - Coulter-Nile to D Miller, 1 run, Miller is hanging back deep in his crease, full and sliding into the pads, Miller gets a thin inside edge onto the pads on the heave - the umpire reckons he got bat. I'm not so sure

Shardul Thakur, right handed bat, comes to the crease

18.1 - Coulter-Nile to A Patel, out Caught by M Agarwal!! Straight to long-on. Coulter-Nile has a smile on his face. It was back of a length outside off, Axar flat-batted it down Agarwal's throat. Agarwal didn't move an inch as he reverse cupped it. A Patel c M Agarwal b Coulter-Nile 22(26) [6s-1]

17.6 - Mathews to A Patel, 1 run, low full toss on the stumps, Axar makes room and drives it straight to the fielder at long-off

17.5 - Mathews to D Miller, 1 run, no room to work with for Miller, he can't get under that delivery in the blockhole, jammed out to long-on off the inside half of the bat

17.4 - Mathews to A Patel, 1 run, Saurabh Tiwary doesn't hit from mid-wicket and had he done so, he would've got Axar run-out. A mistimed pull to him at mid-wicket and Axar would've been out with a direct hit

17.3 - Mathews to A Patel, no run, good bowling. Mathews follows Axar as he was making room, short of length, cut straight to the fielder at backward point

17.2 - Mathews to D Miller, 1 run, yorker on the stumps, dug out to long-on

17.1 - Mathews to A Patel, 1 run, unnecessary from Mayank at short mid-wicket. He throws down the stumps when Axar was in and gives away an extra run. They take a single off the ricochet

16.6 - Zaheer to A Patel, 1 run, slower short ball on the stumps, pulled to deep mid-wicket, for a single

16.5 - Zaheer to D Miller, 1 run, Coulter-Nile at short third does well, dives to his right and saves three runs for his side. Yorker outside off, Miller digs it out and it was going for four until the fielder came across

16.4 - Zaheer to A Patel, 1 run, short of length outside off, Axar charges out and mistimes the flat-batted shot through the diving cover fielder, gets a single though

16.3 - Zaheer to D Miller, 1 run, yorker, tailing back in, Miller digs it out to cover and they complete a quick single. The fielder went at the wrong end, should have gone to the bowler's

16.2 - Zaheer to D Miller, no run, another slower delivery, Miller cuts and picks out backward point

16.1 - Zaheer to A Patel, 1 run, cutter, outside off, Axar slashes it to square third man

15.6 - Tahir to A Patel, 1 run, flat on the stumps, Axar gets forward and drives to long-on

15.6 - Tahir to A Patel, 5 wides, Jadhav is having a poor day behind the stumps. Doesn't even move down leg to gather that and stump Axar. Floated on middle, spins past the batsman's flick, Axar was out of his crease and it was a definite stumping opportunity, but Jadhav stood still and it beats him to race away to the fence. Five wides

15.5 - Tahir to D Miller, 1 run, flat on the stumps, clipped off the back foot to deep mid-wicket

15.4 - Tahir to D Miller, no run, well tossed up outside off, Miller reaches out and drives hard and straight, but finds cover

Yuvi has a word with Tahir

15.3 - Tahir to D Miller, FOUR, now a full toss from Tahir and Miller puts him away. Takes a step out and then heaves it powerfully along the ground, beats deep mid-wicket with ease. That was hit very hard

15.2 - Tahir to D Miller, SIX, Miller now wants to tee off. Uses his feet and then carts Tahir high and wide over mid-wicket. Got plenty of wood and went a long way back

15.1 - Tahir to A Patel, 1 run, on the stumps, Axar closes the face of the bat and nurdles a single to deep backward square leg, just a single

14.5 - Mathews to D Miller, no run, now a thick outside edge goes on the bounce to short third man. Full outside off, Miller drove and got lucky

14.4 - Mathews to D Miller, FOUR, Miller is targetting Mathews and gets another four. Picks the slower delivery outside off and then goes over cover. Went hard at the shot and it went one bounce over the ropes. Mathews is a disappointed man

14.3 - Mathews to A Patel, 1 run, Axar takes a step out and tries to get under the length ball on the stumps, but hits it to long-on

14.2 - Mathews to D Miller, 1 run, slower delivery outside off, pushed to cover

13.6 - Tahir to A Patel, SIX, lovely shot. Uses his feet and gets to the pitch of that googly, goes straight back over Tahir's head. Straight over the sightscreen as Axar's lofted hit goes all the way

13.5 - Tahir to A Patel, no run, dabbed to Yuvi at slip. Axar took a step out of his crease and Yuvi thought about throwing down the stumps, but didn't. Axar was definitely out of his crease there

13.4 - Tahir to D Miller, 1 run, Miller uses his feet and then whips it across the line to wide long-on for a single

13.3 - Tahir to D Miller, no run, short and turns back in, Miller rocks back to cut straight to the fielder at cover

13.2 - Tahir to D Miller, no run, and again Jadhav fumbles. Miller doesn't pick the googly, it spins away from the attempted sweep

13.1 - Tahir to A Patel, 1 run, short down leg, pulled to deep backward square leg

Imran Tahir, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack

S Ravi with a smile signals the time-out. Ha! What joy!

This is not a T20 pitch. Some are keeping low while the others are bouncing alarmingly. Uneven bounce on display. Very hard for the batsmen to cope up with that. Zak is a master in exploiting these kind of pitches and that's what he did in his opening spell. He knew it was an uneven pitch and resorted to bowling cutters. Assessed the pitch type superbly early on and made full use of it

12.5 - Mathews to D Miller, 1 run, Mathews digs it in short on seeing Miller advance, Miller swivels on the pull but mistimes it to backward square leg

12.4 - Mathews to D Miller, no run, Miller is lucky that it was not on the stumps. This is a grubber, angled across and it beats Miller's clip and goes to Jadhav. Mathews has a wry smile on his face

12.3 - Mathews to A Patel, 1 run, a completely mistimed pull to short mid-wicket, Axar hares off to make it at the other end. Axar was hurried on the pull and had Tahir picked it up cleanly, it would've made things interesting

12.2 - Mathews to A Patel, no run, Mathews cramps Axar for room with a tight delivery on the stumps, punched to mid-off again

Axar Patel, left handed bat, comes to the crease

9.5 - Coulter-Nile to T Perera, out Caught by S Tiwary!! Perera has picked out Saurabh Tiwary at deep square leg. Miller is asking his partner to wait though. Perera is waiting now. They have gone upstairs to check whether it was a clean catch. Pulled to the right of deep square and Tiwary sliding and tumbling to his right took it with both hands. It was angled across on a back of a length and Sehwag punched it on the up, the ball got big on him and he somehow managed to elude the fielder. The ball hit the bat splice. They run two, but Sehwag didn't ground the bat so called one short. So that will be just one run

Sehwag and Vohra are at the crease. Sehwag is on strike. Zaheer will open the attack

That's brings a closure to the first game of today's double-header. The toss for the second game is a few minutes away. So, switch tabs and follow all the action. For now, cheers and bye..

Below are some of the best tweets pertaining to this game...

Harsha Bhogle: Good to see @ImZaheer back. Hopefully fitness will hold and we can see him for much longer. If had one word to describe him, would be wily.

Vishal Thakur: Zak showed today that brains matter more than brawn. Smart bowling to get Sehwag & Vohra. Welcome back Zak!

Mohandas Menon: Most #T20 League 50s before the age of 21 years: 3 Saurabh Tiwary #MUM, 3 Sanju Samson #RAJ, 3 Shreyas Iyer #DEL #DELvsPUN

Gaurav Kalra: kings xi are the new delhi daredevils #DELvsPUN

Mohammad Kaif: What an innings by #shreyasiyer , @DelhiDelhi has made this one look a cakewalk #T20 League2015 #DELvsPUN

Coulter-Nile: "I am not sure (talking about the wicket). It was a little bit up and down. It makes a difference having his (Zaheer Khan) experience out there. It's a different challenge and more I play, more I get accustomed to the conditions. We have to scrape into the top four."

Nathan Coulter-Nile is the Man of the Match for his figures of 4/20.

Duminy: "It's definitely good to get a win going into the second half of the tournament. We have been a little bit inconsistent. I am pretty happy with the way things turned out. Unbelievable. Just to have him (Zaheer) in the field today, was great to have him back. He (Tahir) has been very effective for us in the backend, but he couldn't get it right today. It was great to see the two youngsters put up such a performance."

Bailey: "No (Bailey has no words to describe today's performance). And that is saying something with the way we are playing. It was a very difficult surface when we were batting. It looked a pretty good surface when they were batting. We have to look at how we are playing and have to come up with something. There was plenty of crossover when we were 15/4 (talking about communicating with the batsmen in the middle and the team management in the dugout). Full credit to DEL. JP (Duminy) captained them very well. We are just trying to get the boys to free up a bit. We have not given the guys to express themselves. DEL went through this last year. It doesn't make you bad people and doesn't mean you are not trying hard. It is making sure we still enjoy the game. I am getting sick of seeing you (when HD Ackerman said hard luck)."

Earlier in the day, Zaheer Khan and Coulter-Nile picked up six wickets between them to put the hosts in a pole position. David Miller and Axar Patel stitched a decent partnership, but by then the damage was already done. DEL now are placed fourth in the points table. On the other hand, PUN continue to languish at the bottom of the points table.

On the back of a well-measured stand between Mayank Agarwal and Shreyas Iyer, DEL registered a comprehensive win. Iyer took a heavy toll of some poor bowling by Shardul Thakur to give the hosts a fine start and composed an eye-catching fifty. Mayank too scored a half-century. In fact, other than Sandeep Sharma rest of the pacers struggled to attack the stumps as PUN sloped towards another heavy defeat.

Both batsmen shake hands with the PUN players. The players in the DEL dugout are very happy as they congratulate each other. Agarwal shows the YOUWECAN wristband towards the dugout and then points it upwards to the sky. It has been a comprehensive win for the home side, who end their Delhi campaign with a victory.
