19.4 - Bhuvneshwar to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR, superb hit from Yadav. Leg-cutter on the stumps, he moves away to the leg-side, knows that the field is up on the off-side, just chips it over the infield and collects a much needed boundary

16.1 - Mustafizur to Y Pathan, FOUR, "catch" shouted Mustafizur, but it was well wide of square leg. Shortish and on off, Pathan shuffles across and pulls it wide of Yuvi, no chance for deep mid-wicket to cut that off. Good start to the over..

13.1 - Karn Sharma to M Pandey, FOUR, Pandey has taken a particular liking to Karn Sharma. Once again starts the over with a boundary. Tossed up on off, Pandey clears his front leg out of the way and tonks it towards long-on, straight enough for a one bounce four

12.4 - Mustafizur to Y Pathan, FOUR, lucky boundary. Mustafizur goes round the wicket and angles the off-cutter in, the ball grips and deviates enough to catch the outside edge as Pathan pokes at it, goes fine and races to the third man fence

12.1 - Mustafizur to M Pandey, FOUR, top shot! Poor delivery though from Fizz. Short and plenty of room on offer, Pandey, who already stands on leg-stump made full use of that, cracked the cut to the left of backward point, sped away to the fence

8.0 - Deepak Hooda to Y Pathan, FOUR, Pathan shows the aggressive intent by skipping out of the crease, takes it on the half volley and lifts it wide of long-on

5.5 - Deepak Hooda to Munro, FOUR, well, another full toss and this time from Hooda, Munro stays inside the crease and biffs it straight down the ground

4.4 - Williamson to Munro, FOUR, oh boy! This can turn out be a bad gamble by the captain. Williamson ushers in another full toss, Munro makes use of the gift lifting it into the downtown territories

3.1 - Barinder to Gambhir, FOUR, shorter in length from Barinder, but he does not get good shoulder on it. In fact, it was a long hop, Gambhir pulls it neatly to the deep backward square leg fence after getting on top of the ball

1.1 - Barinder to Uthappa, FOUR, Uthappa's sparkling spread of run-scoring continues. Barinder angles it away from the right-hander, Uthappa rides on the bounce and slices the drive past the backward point fielder. No need to run for those

0.5 - Bhuvneshwar to Uthappa, FOUR, Bhuvneshwar again bowls it short and wide, Uthappa camps back and late cuts it to the third man fence. The fielder was inside the ring and Uthappa breached the gap between short third man and backward point to perfection

0.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Uthappa, FOUR, Uthappa again gets on top of the bounce. In fact, a splendid stroke from him. A tad fuller and outside off, Uthappa brings out the punchy-drive and it vrooms away to the deep extra cover fence

0.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Uthappa, FOUR, crunching shot from Uthappa! A touch of width on offer, Uthappa prod half forward and cracks it through the diving cover-point fielder and into the fence

14.5 - Barinder to M Pandey, SIX, there's the six for the over. Pandey was waiting for this in his crease. Sran made his job easier by bowling length, Pandey said thank you very much and smashed it over long-on, pinged the sightscreen

13.5 - Karn Sharma to Y Pathan, SIX, Karn keeps tossing them up and Pathan keeps sending them out of the park. This time creates his own room by backing away and hammers it over long-off. The crowd are finding their voice again

13.4 - Karn Sharma to Y Pathan, SIX, first six for Pathan. And as usual it comes over long-on. Went a long way as well - 102 meters. Flighted on the stumps, Pathan dispatches it with utter disdain over long-on

8.2 - Karn Sharma to M Pandey, SIX, this time, Karn, bowls it a touch outside off, but Pandey again sits on one knee and hammers the slog-sweep over mid-wicket with utmost ease

8.1 - Karn Sharma to M Pandey, SIX, when it hit the sweet spot of the willow, it gave an inkling that was crunched. Pandey sinks on one knee and slog-sweeps it over the mid-wicket boundary

19.1 - Bhuvneshwar to Shakib, out Caught by N Ojha!! Kolkata have certainly lost their way. Runs are not coming and they are losing wickets as well. Off-cutter bowled well wide of off, Shakib had to fetch that and all he could do was top-edge it straight up. Ojha called for and took it with utmost ease. Shakib c N Ojha b Bhuvneshwar 7(10)

16.4 - Mustafizur to Holder, out Caught by Henriques!! A lucky wicket for Mustafizur. A full toss on off, Holder was probably not expecting that, goes for the drive over cover, gets it high on the bat and ends up popping it to Henriques at head height. He hung around and just delayed the inevitable. Holder is a tall man and to get it above his waist, should be a real effort for any bowler. Holder c Henriques b Mustafizur 3(3)

15.4 - Bhuvneshwar to M Pandey, out Caught by Williamson!! There's the wicket Hyderabad wanted. Pandey is disappointed, lets out a roar and looks at the base of his bat. Low full toss outside off, Pandey had already made room, had to reach out and all he could do is slice it towards backward point. Williamson takes another good catch, dived to his right and managed to hold on even though he went to ground. M Pandey c Williamson b Bhuvneshwar 48(30) [4s-2 6s-3]

7.3 - Deepak Hooda to Gambhir, out Caught by Henriques!! I am rubbing my eyes in disbelief. KOL's batsmen, one after another, are losing the plot and gifting their wickets away on a platter. Gambhir dances down the track, makes a wee bit of room and tries to go inside-out with his lofted drive, but cracks it straight to the man at long-off, who did not have to move an inch. Gambhir c Henriques b Deepak Hooda 16(15) [4s-1]

6.0 - Deepak Hooda to Munro, out Caught by N Ojha!! Munro, in an attempt to up the ante has perished. There was no need for that as KOL have made a bright start. Slower through the air and outside off, Munro looked to heave it across the line and got it off the toe-end. Ojha ran across and pouched it. Munro c N Ojha b Deepak Hooda 10(8) [4s-2]

3.4 - Barinder to Uthappa, out Caught by Williamson!! Why would Uthappa try to take the risk of playing with a dash of adventurism and look to pulverise Barinder over the off-side? He was playing orthodox shots and checking in a flurry of boundaries. Unfortunately, Uthappa dances down the track to a good length delivery that was angled away and made room. He tried to club it over the cover-region and gets it off the toe-end. Williamson from backward point ran backwards, kept his eyes on the ball and snaffled the catch with both hands around head height. Uthappa c Williamson b Barinder 25(17) [4s-4]

17.5 - Barinder to Y Pathan, 1 run, fifty for Pathan. A fine season for him. The most runs he has scored for KOL in a single season. Meanwhile, Unadkat walks out with a bat for Shakib. Fullish and on the stumps, driven down to long-on

18.5 - Holder to Bhuvneshwar, FOUR, makes his own room and uses a big bat swing to loft this fuller one over extra cover. 29 off 7 needed

17.3 - Narine to Henriques, FOUR, that's streetsmart cricket. Is late to read it and then dabs it ever so late, off the keeper's gloved all the way to third man. A head-first dive there is inconsequential

11.5 - Kuldeep Yadav to Yuvraj, FOUR, lovely footwork. Just a baby shuffle across to make room and lofts this flattish delivery like a pancake. Ojha ducks to let it pass over him and the long-on fielder had no chance

10.4 - Shakib to Dhawan, FOUR, that a repugnant ball. Switched the angle to round the wicket to cut the room and ends up dishing it out down leg. Dhawan just turns around and paddles it down to fine leg. Brings his fifty up!

10.1 - Shakib to Dhawan, FOUR, flatter delivery darted in, turning down leg, Dhawan holds his bat high, lets it turn as he winds up, and chops it down to fine leg. Like a close-batted jab this

8.0 - Munro to Dhawan, FOUR, Dhawan backs away slightly and slices this yorker length delivery to the third man fence. In fact, his initial trigger movement suggested he was backing away. But then he shuffled across a touch to free his arms up and get to the ball

4.5 - Rajpoot to N Ojha, FOUR, Ojha twins placement and timing to this fullish delivery and traces the line between cover-point and cover. He then uses the drive to collect a boundary

4.3 - Rajpoot to Dhawan, FOUR, Rajpoot continues to lose his radar. He drifts it down leg, Dhawan just flicks it to the deep backward square leg fence. No need to run for those

2.1 - Shakib to Warner, FOUR, short and wide delivery, cut to deep extra cover and it vrooms away to the fence. Gift of a delivery from Shakib and the batsman takes a heavy toll of it

14.0 - Kuldeep Yadav to Yuvraj, SIX, even better this time. Stays put, unlike the last ball, and just frees arms with the turn. On a length, turning away and Yuvraj's bat flow roared. Over extra cover

13.5 - Kuldeep Yadav to Yuvraj, SIX, lovely. Shimmies down, doesn't let the ball talk, renders turn irrelevant and lofts it over long-off

8.4 - Holder to Dhawan, SIX, ah, with a concoction of timing and placement, Dhawan shuffles across his sticks and whips a fuller length delivery over the deep backward square leg fence. He is picking the length very early today

5.1 - Narine to Dhawan, SIX, Dhawan looks in sublime touch. He sits on one knee and sweeps a pushed through delivery over the deep backward leg boundary

3.2 - Narine to Warner, SIX, when you can play shots in front of square on both sides of the wicket, why would you try those cheeky little reverse sweeps? Fullish and just outside off, Warner sits on one knee and slog-sweeps it over the long-on fence. He picked the bones out of that delivery

3.0 - Shakib to Dhawan, SIX, blistering barnacles! That was one mighty strike by Dhawan. He waltzes down the track, takes a flatter delivery on the half volley and lofts it into the downtown territories

19.1 - Rajpoot to Bhuvneshwar, out Caught by (sub)Sathish!! This looks like a mere formality now. Rajpoot makes for the readymade room with a full one following the batsman, Bhuvneshwar is cramped for room but the match situation ushers him into a loft. A cramped loft that only travels as far as long-off. Bhuvneshwar c (sub)Sathish b Rajpoot 5(4) [4s-1]

18.0 - Narine to Henriques, out Bowled!! That's a blindfolded shimmy. Clueless. Just hankers out of the crease and looks to slog, Narine cleverly bowls an off-cutter that's a touch shorter and sneaks in to kill the shoulder of the leg-stump. 36 off the last 2 overs now. Henriques b Narine 11(10) [4s-1]

15.4 - Kuldeep Yadav to Williamson, out Caught by Suryakumar Yadav!! Sore throats pill-makers, rush to the Eden Gardens! Williamson departs too and it's time to press that metaphorical panic button. 55 off 26 needed. This turned in from the stumps, Williamson rose higher on the shuffle and clubbed it straight to deep square leg, while sliding deep in the crease to make room. Williamson c Suryakumar Yadav b Kuldeep Yadav 7(9)

15.1 - Kuldeep Yadav to Deepak Hooda, out Deepak Hooda Run Out!! 1 run completed. That's a shamble. Absolute horror. An unrequited love story. This was a drag down on leg-stump, Hooda exaggerated his shuffle across leg, got behind it and pulled it all cramped to cow corner. Had cleaved the gap between deep square leg and deep mid-wicket perfectly, thought there's a two on and just sped back to his crease. Williamson wasn't interested, maybe didn't hear the call. Maybe there wasn't a call. Shakib ran across from deep mid-wicket, speared the throw to the bowler's end and ran Hooda out, who was halfway down the track. Williamson was livid and Uthappa was clapping aggressively, I must add. Deepak Hooda run out (Shakib/Kuldeep Yadav) 2(2)

14.3 - Shakib to Yuvraj, out Caught by (sub)Sathish!! And Yurvaj perishes now. Let me tell you, this looked headed over deep mid-wicket by a mile, then suddenly dipped and found the fielder. Darted in quicker, Yuvraj was in the mood and just lofted it across the line with a readymade closed bat. But that was too full. Too full to be powered even over an Eden Gardens, the size of which hardly mirrors its stature. Yuvraj c (sub)Sathish b Shakib 19(12) [4s-1 6s-2]

12.1 - Narine to N Ojha, out Caught by Uthappa!! Another one on Narine's menu tonight. And with that turn. Drifts it in, Ojha - an edgy Ojha - looks to slog with the drift in but the turn dupes him. The top-edge pops up and the keeper jogs back to pouch it. N Ojha c Uthappa b Narine 15(25) [4s-1]

11.3 - Kuldeep Yadav to Dhawan, out Caught by Munro!! Warner is already back and the makeshift messiah in Dhawan is now too! With Ojha struggling, Dhawan had to loosen up and he did with a slog across the line to a ball too full. Goes with the drift but powers it off the toe-end to deep mid-wicket where the sweeper shuffles across to pouch an easy one. 'Big wicket' will be an understatement. Dhawan c Munro b Kuldeep Yadav 51(30) [4s-4 6s-3]

3.3 - Narine to Warner, out Bowled!! Narine, for the umpteenth time in his career, has done the trick for KOL. Warner backs away and attempts to lift it over the off-side, but Narine gets a hint of turn away from the batsman, Warner misses with his stroke and the leg-stump is pegged back. The KOL camp is ecstatic. Warner b Narine 18(16) [4s-1 6s-1]

17.5 - Narine to Karn Sharma, 1 run, oh, that's too good from Narine. Runs across all the way to mid-on, gathers this clip from Sharma and fires it at the bowler's end. Misses but why was Sharma taking it so lightly? Why? Jogs and then hurries back in

10.2 - Shakib to Dhawan, 2 runs, 50-run stand with a clip to deep mid-wicket
