19.3 - Bumrah to Negi, FOUR, crash, bang and wallop from Negi. Bumrah bangs it short, Negi backs away and hammers it to the mid-wicket fence. In fact, it was the slower short one from Bumrah, but Negi picked it up right from the hand

17.1 - Bumrah to Duminy, FOUR, Duminy shows deft touch to add one more four to his kitty. Fuller length delivery and in that channel outside off, Duminy moves around the crease and nicely pats it to third man, where the fielder puts in a desperate dive, but does not succeed in his endeavour

16.4 - McClenaghan to Duminy, FOUR, from round the wicket, McClenaghan bowls it short and wide, Duminy smears the cut to the deep backward fence

16.0 - Bumrah to Duminy, FOUR, street-smart cricket from Duminy. He gets the reward for it by adding one more boundary to his tally. Bumrah uses the slower one and bowls it on off-stump, Duminy sits on one knee and scoops it over the keeper's head and into the fence

12.4 - Krunal Pandya to Samson, FOUR, oh! Boy! Hardik Pandya looks in trouble there. He and Buttler have met with a horrible collision at deep backward square leg and Hardik seems to be in pain. Hardik was hit on the jaw, while Buttler hurt his right shoulder to an extent. He is still down on the ground and MUM's players have circled around him. I hope he will be fine. It was a good length delivery and on the stumps, Samson sweeps it to deep backward square leg, Buttler from deep mid-wicket and Hardik from fine leg ran around the boundary rope and collided. On replays, it was clear that ball rolled away past the fence. Hardik has been lifted back to the dressing room

11.3 - Harbhajan to Samson, FOUR, from round the wicket, Harbhajan fires it down leg, Samson sits on one knee and slog-sweeps it past the deep backward square leg fielder for a boundary. He picked the bones out of that one

7.1 - Harbhajan to Nair, FOUR, Nair shows his ability to play shots in a 360 degree arc. He sinks on one knee and reverse sweeps a flatter delivery to the third man fence

6.3 - Hardik Pandya to Samson, FOUR, Parthiv flies to his right to snaffle what would have been a spectacular catch, but can't get a hand on it. It just about nibbles away from Samson, who prods half forward and ekes out an outside edge that goes past the diving Parthiv to the third man fence

4.2 - Bumrah to Samson, FOUR, Samson twins timing and placement to crack a sparkling shot. Good length and on the stumps, Samson push-drives it to long-on. No need to run for those. Samson played that stroke all along the carpet

3.5 - McClenaghan to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR, splendid stroke that by Iyer. Fullish and on the stumps, Iyer lofts it on the up and over the bowler's head. It crashes into the boundary boards. Iyer's head was very still when he executed that shot

0.2 - Southee to de Kock, FOUR, de Kock is in blazing touch for sure. Southee offers the width on a good length delivery, de Kock crunches the flashing drive past the diving cover fielder and into the fence. de Kock has such fast hands

0.1 - Southee to de Kock, FOUR, de Kock starts on a great note. The inswinger from Southee, de Kock cracks the push-drive down the ground. It crashes into the ad-cushions

19.5 - Bumrah to Duminy, SIX, low full toss from Bumrah, Duminy sinks on one knee and scoops it over the keeper's head for a six. Lovely execution from the batsman there. He is picking all the variations today

16.2 - McClenaghan to Samson, SIX, Samson goes aerial and it goes all the way. McClenaghan hits a shorter length and bowls it outside off, Samson, though, is able to fetch it from outside off and he butchers it over two fielders stationed at deep mid-wicket for a maximum

13.3 - Pollard to Duminy, SIX, well, Pollard does not learn from his mistake as he bowls another off-pace ball, Duminy just picks it right from the hand, skips down the track and lifts it over long-on. It goes all the way

11.1 - Harbhajan to Samson, SIX, deliciously flighted delivery from Harbhajan, but the batsman takes on the challenge by dancing down the track, getting close to the pitch of the ball and lofting it handsomely over long-on. It cleared the fence with ease. Samson kept his head very still and held his pose after playing that shot

4.0 - McClenaghan to Shreyas Iyer, SIX, Iyer is in the mood now. We have seen in the Ranji Trophy when Iyer gets into good form, he can unfurl a series of eye-catching shots. A bit of width on offer, Iyer slaps it over sweeper cover for a maximum

16.3 - McClenaghan to Samson, out Caught by Southee!! Well, McClenaghan has snared the prized scalp. Wait, the TV umpire has been beckoned and they are now checking whether his front foot is behind the line. He is fine there. It also turns out to be a full toss that is not above waist height. Juicy full toss from McClenaghan, Samson hammers it to Southee at long-off who moves across the boundary rope to clasp it cleanly.Samson c Southee b McClenaghan 60(48) [4s-4 6s-2]

8.0 - Harbhajan to Nair, out Caught by Southee!! Nair does not learn from his mistake as he again tries to sweep Harbhajan from off-stump and gets a top-edge to Southee at deep backward square leg, who did not have to move an inch to take an easy catch. DEL are slipping here. Nair c Southee b Harbhajan 5(5) [4s-1]

7.0 - Hardik Pandya to Shreyas Iyer, out Caught by Rayudu!! Iyer's promising innings comes to an end. He is a disappointed man for sure as he bangs his bat on the ground. Back of a length delivery and angled in, Iyer aims to slog it across the line, gets it off the toe-end and Rayadu at cover moves forward to clasp the catch with both hands. Shreyas Iyer c Rayudu b Hardik Pandya 19(20) [4s-1 6s-1]

2.0 - McClenaghan to de Kock, out Caught by Hardik Pandya!! The big fish has been chugged down. Credit to McClenaghan for bowling with zest and vigour and he has got the prized scalp as a reward. A tad fuller and angling in, de Kock aims to hoick it across the line and gets it off the toe-end to Hardik at backward point. de Kock c Hardik Pandya b McClenaghan 9(7) [4s-2]

17.5 - Bumrah to Duminy, 2 runs, excellent running between the wickets by the pair facilitates DEL to pick up a duece. Duminy eases it to sweeper cover and immediately calls for a two. His partner responds in earnest. Despite the fielder at cover ushering in a throw at the bowler's end and Bumrah whipping the bails off, Negi had made his ground with a dive

14.1 - Southee to Samson, 1 run, Samson cracks a well-constructed fifty. He has played some crackerjack shots, sprinkled with singles and twos. Good length delivery and on the stumps, Samson push-drives it to long-on. The stand is also worth 50 runs now

18.0 - C Morris to Rohit, FOUR, this is not rural at all. This is posh. Like Mumbai. Gets a length ball, swats it with swagger and dispatches it through long-on

12.1 - Zaheer to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, one bounce and four! Welcome Zak. Cuts the pace on this and Pandya's turning bat executes a loft that's good enough through long-off

11.3 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, take that, Tahir! Keep bowling googlies and Pandya will keep sending them to downtown. Not the power on this loft to carry all the way but it's still a one-bounce four

10.2 - Shami to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, how do I put it...umm...a flat upper-cut. Sways away to make room on this slow bouncer that doesn't get up and ramps it away through third man

9.5 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, FOUR, Tahir has been out-witted. Googly outside off, Pandya waits for it, waits some more and dabs it wide of short third man

4.0 - Shami to Rayudu, FOUR, that's the wrist that Hyderabad is famous for. And the biryani, of course. Gets low in his crease and shaves this off his pads with a divine flick through mid-wicket

3.5 - Shami to Rayudu, FOUR, that shot is out of phase. By about 90 degrees to where Rayadu wanted it to go. Looks to loft this full delivery over long-on, gets an inside edge and French cuts it to fine leg

3.2 - Shami to Rohit, FOUR, it's a road, this Delhi outfield. Gets on top of this fullish delivery and punch-drives it. Wisely places it wide of a diving mid-off to get a boundary

3.0 - Negi to Rayudu, FOUR, the Negi experiment fails. 19 runs off the over definitely says so. A very full ball to wrap things up fittingly, Rayudu opens up and square drives it with disdain

2.4 - Negi to Rohit, FOUR, short enough for Rohit to rock back and swat it through mid-wicket. This is binary bowling from Negi - too short or too full

2.2 - Negi to Rohit, FOUR, now this ball deserves a hammering. Short ball, perhaps making up for the last ball, and Rohit thrashes it with a cut through backward point

2.1 - Negi to Rohit, FOUR, that very full length is no longer safe. Flights it on a very full length - the length which batsman jam out a single at best. Rohit opens up and squeezes it out through backward point. Kohli-like

2.0 - Shami to Rayudu, FOUR, guess what, he makes up for it. Had chased a ball outside off, this time had his weight on the front foot and took his length ball on the up. A mere extention of the arm to caress this through covers

1.0 - Zaheer to Rohit, FOUR, not this time! Oh Rohit. Silly one moment and a master the other. Takes this length ball on the up, pins it off the middle and chips it over extra cover

0.1 - Zaheer to Rohit, FOUR, wow. That's the delicatest of warm-ups you will see. Length ball on middle and leg, it's just a tame tuck and the ball vrooms through backward square

19.2 - C Morris to Rohit, SIX, someone's not giving up. Seam pointed towards first slip, not off-pace and on a length - Rohit clobbers it with a crossed bat for Morris's first conceded six this T20 League

18.5 - Zaheer to Pollard, SIX, Pollard roars, Dravid claps and Kotla goes pin-drop silent. Low full toss this time, and it's not escaping those brutal wrists. Pollard straightens them and swings the ball over deep mid-wicket

11.2 - Tahir to Krunal Pandya, SIX, that's huge. And he's doing what he has been sent for. Gives it some air time, Pandya gets the time to spot the googly and pummels it over long-on with a shimmied loft

9.0 - Mishra to Krunal Pandya, SIX, Pandya! The other Pandya! The less famous Pandya! Slider across the batsman who swings his bat and swings it over deep mid-wicket with a flat sweep

19.4 - C Morris to Harbhajan, out Lbw!! Gem. Inswinging yorker that beats a slog and pings Harbhajan right in front. Plumber than plumb. Harbhajan lbw b C Morris 0(1)

19.3 - C Morris to Rohit, out Rohit Run Out!! 1 run completed. It's a day of collisions. A mid-pitch collision this time. A full ball outside off and Rohit throws his bat on the drive. Calls for the second but there's a collision. Bangs into Hardik Pandya in the middle. Meanwhile, the throw was rifled to Morris from the deep and he takes the bails off. But wait. He's broken the stumps...with Hardik Pandya short...but not with the ball in his hand. Drama! Parries the ball to the keeper whilst Rohit is reeling in pain on the pitch and QDK runs him out. Is the Spirit of Cricket booklet out yet? Rohit run out (Negi/C Morris/de Kock) 65(48) [4s-7 6s-1]

19.0 - Zaheer to Pollard, out Caught by C Morris!! Kotla goes "oooooh". Might well confuse it for Lord's when Root is batting. Lovely off-cutter slanted wide of off, Pollard looks to launch it downtown, but is opened up by the angle and the dart away. Skewed off that (incredibly humongous) outside edge and it carries all the way to Morris at deep extra cover. Pollard c C Morris b Zaheer 19(18) [6s-1]

14.3 - Mishra to Buttler, out Lbw!! Larry Page and Google. Amit Mishra and Googly. That good. Deceives Buttler all ends up. He was looking to tuck in but this wrong 'un shoots on off the pitch and pings the pad in front of leg-stump. That looked dead someone stop Mishra. He's celebrating. Still celebrating, choosing fist-pumps over high-fives. Ouch. Buttler lbw b Mishra 2(6)

12.4 - Zaheer to Rohit, out Krunal Pandya Run Out!! Shouldn't have been but sometimes, things are meant to be. Harmless length ball on the pads, Rohit bams it into the pitch, tries to steal round the corner. Krunal Pandya responds, is sent back, hurries back in....but Zaheer has run across and his throw finds him short. Which gym do you go to, Zaheer? Krunal Pandya run out (Zaheer) 36(17) [4s-4 6s-2]

8.3 - Mishra to Rayudu, out Bowled!! Oh my. That's the ugliest slog this Kotla crowd will see tonight. Shimmies out all desperate without even giving a thought to what Mishra might bowl, and bowl he does. Dishes out a well-disguised googly, gets it to zoot in and beats the bat to shatter the stumps. Sight. Rayudu b Mishra 25(23) [4s-4]

1.4 - Shami to Parthiv Patel, out Parthiv Patel Run Out!! 1 run completed. Iyer! Runs across from the deep square leg, gathers the ball and uses his robotic arm to pummel the throw back. Parthiv thought that his mistimed pull would fetch him two, calls for it but his dive wasn't enough. Such good was the throw. Parthiv Patel run out (Shreyas Iyer/de Kock) 1(4)

4.5 - C Morris to Rayudu, 1 run, dropped! What an over this is. A length ball hurled wide, Rayudu looks for a punch - a power punch through cover but ekes out an edge. Now, Duminy is waiting at slip, spots it early but it's wide. Puts on a jet pack, leaps to his left but only manages to tip it away

16.2 - Mishra to Rohit, 1 run, here's a fifty for Rohit Sharma. Gets a deliciously flighted delivery outside off and he drives it ever so handsomely through cover

15.4 - Tahir to Rohit, 1 run, flipper outside off, dabbed to a vacant point region where de Kock sprints, collects the ball and lets out a throw, just wide and Pollard is safe at the striker's end. In fact, Pollard had given up, direct-hit would have had him

7.2 - Tahir to Rohit, 1 run, fifty run stand! Drifts this flatter one on leg-stump, it's a full toss and an easy tickle to mid-wicket

0.2 - Zaheer to Rohit, no run, horror to follow. Taps the ball and runs through. Parthiv Patel responded but then had to turn back and rush back in to beat that throw from mid-wicket. Misses and it's a stunning stop by Samson at mid-off
