18.4 - Tait to Anwar Ali, leg byes, FOUR, short ball that slips down the leg-side, Ali can't pull it away fine, but the ball hits the thigh pad and runs away to the fence. Not the way the batsman would have wanted these runs, but he will be happy nevertheless

14.2 - Tait to Mohammad Nawaz, FOUR, short of length delivery well outside off, Nawaz waits for the ball to arrive, uses the pace on the ball and steers it past backward point after getting on top of the bounce, runs away to the fence in a jiffy

12.1 - Afridi to Pietersen, FOUR, floated up outside off, Pietersen lifts it over extra cover and he has nailed it, crashes into the fence in no time

10.3 - Afridi to Sangakkara, FOUR, this time he goes right across to get inside the line of the ball, plays the slog sweep over backward square leg and it crashes into the fence in a jiffy

10.2 - Afridi to Sangakkara, FOUR, bowls this slightly wide outside off, Sangakkara just gives himself some room and lofts it inside-out over extra cover, one bounce and over the rope

8.0 - Sammy to Sangakkara, FOUR, this time he does exactly what he wanted. Slightly wide and short outside off, Sangakkara waits for the ball to arrive and cuts it late past backward point, brings up the fifty for the Gladiators with this boundary

6.2 - Afridi to Pietersen, FOUR, drags this one short and well outside off, Pietersen waits for the ball to arrive and cuts it late to get it behind square, trickles away to the fence

6.0 - Tait to Sangakkara, FOUR, too full on middle and leg, Tait pays the price for bowling there. Sangakkara just works it away in the gap between mid-wicket and mid-on, once again the pace on the ball takes it to the fence with ease

5.4 - Tait to Sangakkara, FOUR, lovely! Overpitching outside off, Sangakkara gets low and caresses the drive through the cover region, crashed into the fence in a jiffy

5.1 - Tait to Sangakkara, FOUR, short of length delivery outside off, Sangakkara uses the pace on the ball, opens the face of the blade and punches it in the gap between backward point and cover-point, races away to the fence in a jiffy

5.0 - Riaz to Pietersen, FOUR, short and on leg stump line, Pietersen gets into a good position and pulls it away fine behind square on the leg-side, no need to run for those

3.3 - Asghar to Pietersen, FOUR, he's hit that powerfully. Kneels across and picks this flighted delivery outside off, sends it over backward square leg with a good swing of the blade, one bounce and over the rope

2.2 - Hasan Ali to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, banged in slightly short and outside off, Shehzad rocks back and pulls it wide of mid-on, who gives chase but the ball beats him to the fence

2.0 - Asghar to Pietersen, FOUR, good shot from KP! Comes down the track to get to the pitch of the ball and smashes it over the man at mid-on, clears him easily and it races away to the fence

15.4 - Hasan Ali to Mohammad Nawaz, SIX, hammered! Nawaz gives himself room by advancing down the track. Hasan sees that and follows him with a short ball. Nawaz didn't back out of the shot and middles the pull over the deep backward square leg fence for a maximum

14.0 - Riaz to Mohammad Nawaz, SIX, stunning blow! Short of length delivery outside off, Nawaz picks the length early and swings hard across the line, got it right off the middle and it sails over the cow corner fence for a maximum

11.3 - Sammy to Pietersen, SIX, glorious hit! Better than the previous six as well. He's looking in some mood today. Pitched up outside off, Pietersen just lifts it through the line with a big swing, tonks it over the long-off fence for another six

11.2 - Sammy to Pietersen, SIX, smashed! First six of the match! Just short of a good length and around off, Pietersen clears his front leg and smashes the pull over the deep mid-wicket fence. Someone in the crowd caught it cleanly and he is definitely delighted with his effort

19.3 - Riaz to Anwar Ali, out Caught by Sammy!! A hat-trick of wickets for Peshawar Zalmi and the Gladiators have been bowled out. Nothing but a length delivery outside off, Ali clears his front leg, wanted to hammer it straight back over the bowler's head, but miscues it completely off the toe-end, Sammy from long-off runs to his right and completes the catch. Jumps and punches the air in delight afterwards. Anwar Ali c Sammy b Riaz 1(5)

19.2 - Riaz to Babar, out Babar Run Out!! What is happening out there? Another one bites the dust. Angling away outside off, Babar clears his front leg, swings hard but can't connect. Ali was charging towards the striker's end but Babar was very late to get off the blocks. The keeper underarms the throw towards the bowler, who collects the ball and underarms it at the non-striker's end. Babar was short by miles. Babar run out (K Akmal/Riaz) 0(1)

19.1 - Riaz to Elliott, out Caught by Tait!! The wickets are falling, runs are not coming and the Gladiators are slipping away. The umpire checks for Riaz's front foot and he is fine on that count. This was short and around the leg stump line, Elliott pulls it away, doesn't bother to keep it down and plays it straight into the hands of Tait at short fine leg. Elliott c Tait b Riaz 5(9)

18.0 - Riaz to Nathan McCullum, out Caught by Hafeez!! A great over for Riaz and it was only fitting that he gets a wicket from it. Slower short ball at the batsman, who clears his front leg and goes for the pull, ends up hitting it tamely and deep mid-wicket snaffles it without any fuss. Nathan McCullum c Hafeez b Riaz 1(4)

16.5 - Tait to Mohammad Nawaz, out Caught by Riaz!! Another one bites the dust and this time it's Nawaz, who has to go. This was bowled slightly wide outside off, was fairly quick as well. Nawaz clears his front leg and looks to slog it away on the leg-side, can only manage a top-edge and Riaz at third man doesn't make a mistake with the catch. Mohammad Nawaz c Riaz b Tait 20(18) [4s-1 6s-2]

14.1 - Tait to Pietersen, out Caught by Hasan Ali!! Pietersen is gone. Big, big wicket for Peshawar. This could well make a difference of 15-20 runs in the end. Full and on middle stump line, Pietersen comes across and looks to go over long-on, probably played the pick-up shot a little too early and the ball goes high in the air, long-on runs forward and pouches it comfortably. Pietersen c Hasan Ali b Tait 53(38) [4s-5 6s-2]

12.4 - Afridi to Sarfraz, out Caught&Bowled!! That's a lollipop catch for Afridi and he has won the battle between the two skippers. As soft a dismissal can get. Floated up on the stumps, was given more air by Afridi, Sarfraz looks to work it away, can only manage a leading edge that balloons straight back towards the bowler, who takes it with sheer ease. Sarfraz c and b Afridi 0(2)

12.0 - Sammy to Sangakkara, out Caught by Bairstow!! That's a brilliant catch by Bairstow. Sanga departs against the run of play. This was pitched up outside off, Sangakkara goes hard on the lofted drive, miscues it completely and Bairstow from long-off runs forward, puts in the dive and takes it inches above the ground. A much-needed wicket for Peshawar. Sangakkara c Bairstow b Sammy 37(29) [4s-6]

3.1 - Asghar to Ahmed Shehzad, out Stumped!! Both the openers are back in the hut now. Shehzad fails to impress. This was tossed up outside off, Shehzad comes down the track and swings wildly, the ball turns away and beats his blade, the keeper collects and whips the bails off in a flash to catch Shehzad short. Ahmed Shehzad st K Akmal b Asghar 6(9) [4s-1]

0.2 - Hasan Ali to Bismillah Khan, out Caught by Bairstow!! Peshawar are ecstatic and this wicket gets the crowd going as well. Bismillah was really good in the last game, but not today. Slightly short and outside off, Bismillah was looking to pull it away, can only manage a top-edge that goes high in the air, Bairstow at backward point calls for it and takes the simplest of catches. Exactly the start Peshawar wanted. Out comes KP. Bismillah Khan c Bairstow b Hasan Ali 0(2)

14.5 - Tait to Mohammad Nawaz, no run, dropped! Pitched up outside off, Nawaz just smashes the drive to the right of mid-off, who quickly slides across, gets both hands to it but just when his elbows hit the ground, the ball pops out. Hasan Ali will surely be disappointed for putting it down.

12.2 - Afridi to Pietersen, 1 run, fifty for Pietersen! Afridi drifts one onto the pads, Pietersen flicks it behind square on the leg-side for a run

9.3 - Sammy to Pietersen, 1 run, bowls this slightly wide outside off, Pietersen opens the face of the bat and guides it late to the left of short third man, where Hodge dives and saves three runs for his side. Brings up the 50-run stand as well

19.2 - Aizaz Cheema to Riaz, FOUR, you can't bowl a low full toss at this stage. Cheema bowls it on middle and leg, Riaz clears his front leg and whacks it over mid-wicket, it was hit with a lot of power and it hits the fence in no time

18.4 - Anwar Ali to Riaz, FOUR, full toss on the pads, that's a freebie for Riaz and he doesn't miss out. He whips it through the backward square leg region and it crashes into the fence in no time. That will ease some pressure

18.1 - Anwar Ali to Hasan Ali, FOUR, take that! First ball for Hasan Ali in this PSL and he has smacked that. Picks the length ball early and lofts it straight over mid-off, almost went the distance there. Just bounced in front of the rope

17.4 - Mohammad Nawaz to Sammy, FOUR, this will do! Gets a four immediately after hitting a six and the crowd gets going once again. Nawaz is being too predictable, bowling it flat and quick. Once again he does exactly that, Sammy clears his front leg and heaves it away through mid-wicket, crashes into the fence in no time

17.0 - Anwar Ali to Riaz, FOUR, edged and four! Lucky runs for Peshawar, but they won't mind it one bit. Length delivery outside off, Riaz looks to force it through the off-side, the outside edge flies to the right of the keeper, who dives across but fails to get a hand on it, runs away to the fence in a jiffy

16.2 - Anwar Ali to Sammy, FOUR, edged and four! Short of length delivery outside off, Sammy throws the kitchen sink at it, gets a thick outside edge that flies past the keeper and crashes into the fence

13.5 - Aizaz Cheema to Sammy, FOUR, goes wide of the crease and bowls it short well outside off, Sammy stays deep in the crease, gets on top of the bounce and pulls it over mid-wicket, bounces once before crossing the rope

13.1 - Aizaz Cheema to Sammy, FOUR, pitched up well outside off, Sammy carves it over backward point, the man from sweeper runs across to his left, puts in the dive but the ball was far away from his reach

12.5 - Elliott to Sammy, FOUR, bowls this wide outside off, Sammy smashes the cut through the backward point region, Nawaz from sweeper cover runs to his left, puts in the dive and gets a hand on it, but can't stop the ball from trickling away to the fence

11.1 - Babar to S Yousuf, FOUR, darted on middle and leg, Yousuf kneels down and sweeps it hard, sends it through the backward square leg region and it crashes into the fence in no time

10.2 - Elliott to Bairstow, FOUR, edged and four! Length delivery from Elliott, Bairstow looks to work it through the on-side, closes the bat face a little too early and the leading edge runs away in the gap between short third man and backward point, collects four for that

9.3 - Mohammad Nawaz to S Yousuf, FOUR, lovely shot this time around. Jumps out of the crease to get to the pitch of this fullish delivery, lofts it straight back over the bowler's head and it bounces just in front of the rope

3.3 - Babar to K Akmal, FOUR, Akmal kneels down and plays the slog sweep really well. Nails it wide of long-on and it bounces just once before the rope

2.3 - Aizaz Cheema to Hafeez, FOUR, back-to-back fours for Hafeez! He missed out on two free-hits, but he has made up for it. Slightly short and just outside off, Hafeez flat-bats it past the bowler, who puts his right hand out but can't stop it. Trickles away to the fence straight down the ground

2.2 - Aizaz Cheema to Hafeez, FOUR, short and on the stumps, Hafeez swivels on the pull and middles it to perfection. Rockets away through to the deep backward square leg fence

1.3 - Babar to K Akmal, FOUR, tossed up well outside off, Akmal throws his bat on the drive, sends it along the turf through the vacant point region, no need to run for those and he is off the mark as well

17.3 - Mohammad Nawaz to Sammy, SIX, that has beem smashed! Flatter and quicker outside off, Sammy was waiting for it, decides to stay back inside the crease and clubs it over the long-on fence for a meaty maximum

19.5 - Aizaz Cheema to Riaz, out Caught by Ahmed Shehzad!! Riaz goes and Cheema has two in two. Shehzad goes for a run after completing the catch and Cheema is on a hat-trick now. The fluctuation in fortunes continue. Short and well outside off, Riaz looks to slap it over the infield on the off-side, can only manage a top-edge that goes high, Shehzad at backward point settles under the skier and takes it. Riaz c Ahmed Shehzad b Aizaz Cheema 22(16) [4s-3]

19.4 - Aizaz Cheema to Hasan Ali, out Caught&Bowled!! Ohh dear! Is there a twist in the tale? A much-needed wicket for the Gladiators. Slightly short and just outside off, Ali swipes across the line but can only manage a top-edge that goes high in the air. Cheema himself calls for the catch, runs to his right and takes it calmly under pressure. The Gladiators' fans are delighted and Sir Viv is once again up on his feet. Hasan Ali c and b Aizaz Cheema 5(3) [4s-1]

18.0 - Mohammad Nawaz to Sammy, out Caught by Nathan McCullum!! Huge wicket at this stage and the Gladiators are once again rejoicing. Quicker delivery around off stump line, Sammy lines up another big heave, goes through with it but it doesn't come off the middle. Long-on moves to his right and takes the catch. Sammy c Nathan McCullum b Mohammad Nawaz 38(29) [4s-5 6s-1]

15.0 - Elliott to Afridi, out Caught by Mohammad Nawaz!! The crowd in Dubai can't believe it. Peshawar's skipper, Afridi, is gone. Sir Vivian Richards is pumped. This was pitched up slightly wide outside off, Afridi makes some room for himself and wanted to loft-drive it inside-out over extra cover, ends up slicing it and the fielder at deep point takes an easy catch in front of the rope. Elliott finishes with 3/19. Afridi c Mohammad Nawaz b Elliott 2(4)

12.1 - Elliott to S Yousuf, out Caught by Babar!! Elliott bags another wicket and half the Peshawar side is back in the hut now. Just short of a good length and outside off, Yousuf bends low and looks to heave it over deep mid-wicket, can't beat the man there and Babar takes an easy catch. Vivian Richards in the Gladiators' dugout is ecstatic as he exchange high-fives with the rest. Out comes Boom-Boom. S Yousuf c Babar b Elliott 15(21) [4s-2]

10.3 - Elliott to Bairstow, out Bowled!! Elliott lets out a roar in delight. He has the final laugh and Bairstow departs. The leg-cutter from Elliott, Bairstow was looking to once again guide it in the gap between short third man and backward point, can't lay bat on it, the ball goes past the outside edge and crashes into the off stump. Bairstow b Elliott 15(16) [4s-1]

5.2 - Mohammad Nawaz to Hodge, out Bowled!! What a wicket! Two in two for Nawaz! Got to be the ball of the match! Drifting in on middle, brings Hodge forward to push at it before turning away sharply past the outside edge. The batsman ended up playing all around it and the ball crashes into off and middle. Nawaz has got the Gladiators right back into this match. Hodge b Mohammad Nawaz 0(1)

5.1 - Mohammad Nawaz to Hafeez, out Bowled!! Nawaz strikes first ball and Hafeez falls. Peshawar are in a spot of bother now. Both the openers are gone. This one comes in with the angle on a shortish length, Hafeez was lining up for the cut, the ball skids on, beats the blade and crashes into the off stump. Hafeez b Mohammad Nawaz 15(18) [4s-2]

4.3 - Anwar Ali to K Akmal, out Bowled!! The Gladiators have their first wicket. It's a beautiful delivery to send Akmal on his way back. Lovely inswinging length delivery that nips back in sharply from outside off. Don't know what Akmal was doing there as he was trying to cut it away, the length was not there to play that shot and he pays the price for it. It goes right through the bat-pad gap and pegs the middle stump back. K Akmal b Anwar Ali 9(13) [4s-2]
