Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

45.0 - Steyn to Dhoni, FOUR, Dhoni opens his account in style. Short and on the leg stump, Dhoni plays the pull/hook shot very well and he places this hook behind square. Fine leg had no chance as the timing was very good

42.3 - Steyn to Raina, FOUR, this time Raina flat-bats one and there's no one to stop the ball. Steyn would complain that he didn't bowl a bad ball. Raina went leg-side, Steyn tried to follow him with a short of a length delivery, Raina managed to flat-bat the drive and more importantly time it very well to get four

40.0 - Phangiso to Kohli, FOUR, there's a lot of power involved in this shot and long-off had no chance. Nicely floated up by Phangiso, Kohli steps out, gets to the pitch of the ball and muscles it hard back over Phangiso's head

39.5 - Phangiso to Kohli, FOUR, this is excellent placement from Kohli. Shortish and quicker outside off stump, Kohli goes deep in the crease and cuts very late, bisects backward point and short third man and picks up four more

38.2 - C Morris to Raina, FOUR, round the wicket and the change of angle hasn't worked for Morris. Full and angling in around leg stump line, with mid-on inside the ring, Raina doesn't try to do anything fancy, just presents the full face of the bat and drives it past the non-striker for four

34.5 - Rabada to Raina, FOUR, we've seen in T20 cricket that this man is so good with his lofts down the wicket, this time he's picked this slower delivery, waits for it to come and with the length being very full, he lofts this back over Rabada's head and it almost went all the way

33.5 - Tahir to Kohli, FOUR, you would have to be very harsh to term that as a dropped catch. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Kohli waits for the ball and smashes it very, very hard, Tahir tries to stick his right hand out and only gets his fingertips to it. Both long-off and long-on had no chance as it was hit with immense power

28.4 - Steyn to Kohli, FOUR, that was just a roll of the wrist and it sped away to the fence. A low full toss just outside off, Kohli crouched low and wrists it past the non-striker, mid-on dives to his left, but the ball had gone past him

22.2 - C Morris to Rahane, FOUR, even Superman AB couldn't stop that. Ovepitched outside off, Rahane leans forward and drills it wide of mid-off, AB moves to his left and dives, but the ball had already gone past him. Morris is not happy with the delivery as well

20.5 - C Morris to Rahane, FOUR, deftly done. These two are slowly starting to shift gears. It was a good length delivery outside off, Rahane reaches out, opens the bat face and steers it fine, even a dive from Steyn at third man couldn't prevent the boundary

20.4 - C Morris to Rahane, FOUR, Morris is on his hunches. He thought Rahane was struck on the pads, but the batsman managed to get plenty of wood, he shuffled across and tickled the fuller length delivery down to the fine leg fence. He would have been LBW had he missed

17.2 - Tahir to Kohli, FOUR, cheeky! Kohli waits and waits for the ball to arrive, opens the bat face and steers it fine. He used the pace of Tahir on that occasion to collect his second boundary

13.3 - Steyn to Kohli, FOUR, this is poor bowling from Steyn and Kohli cashes in! This was short and wide outside off, Kohli stands tall and cracks it square past cover-point for a boundary

13.1 - Steyn to Rahane, FOUR, cracking shot, width on offer from Steyn, Rahane stands tall and drives it on the up, bisects the two fielders in the ring, between cover and cover-point, races away to the fence

3.4 - Rabada to Rohit, FOUR, Rohit is loving the length of the bowlers. It's been mainly short and Rohit is one Indian batsman who plays the pull well. Swivels across and helps it over square leg for a boundary

2.5 - C Morris to Rohit, FOUR, close but four, another short ball from Morris, Rohit swivelled across and pulled it towards short fine leg, just about gets enough to clear the leaping Rabada at short fine leg, might have got his fingertips on that, the ball was travelling and it's harsh to call it as a chance

2.4 - C Morris to Rohit, FOUR, that's easy pickings for Rohit, fine leg was inside the ring and Morris bowls a short delivery outside leg-stump, Rohit swivels across, rolls his wrists and helps it past that man

1.3 - Rabada to Rohit, FOUR, nicely played by Rohit, on a length and angling into Rohit's pads, he waits on it and clips it up and over mid-wicket, a few bounces and over the ropes for the first boundary of the day

45.2 - Tahir to Kohli, SIX, he might be struggling with cramps, but this time he uses his feet, gets to the pitch of the ball and smashes it into the sightscreen. He was hardly able to move after he completed the followthrough of the shot

41.4 - Tahir to Kohli, SIX, it's a googly, he's not to the pitch of the ball, yet Kohli manages to smash it hard. Once again the ball lands on the boundary cushions. He swung across the line, there was a man at deep mid-wicket, but it beat him easily to his left

37.2 - Phangiso to Kohli, SIX, in the airrrrrr and that beats Steyn's jump. It's a hundred for Virat Kohli, his 23rd in ODIs. Flighted delivery on the leg stump, Kohli advances, gets to the pitch of the ball and lofts it over long-on. Kohli hands his hands aloft in joy, takes the helmet off and raises his bat. He flews both his muscles as well. Raina gives him a hug. Ravi Shastri congratulates him and asks him to bat through. This is Kohli's first hundred in ODIs in 14 innings

36.5 - Rabada to Raina, SIX, "Raina, Raina, Raina," is the chant from the crowd and he muscles one easily over the boundary. Length ball right in the slot, Raina doesn't try to hit it too hard, just lofts it over long-on and Rayudu takes the catch beyond the boundary rope. 200 up for India

15.5 - Tahir to Kohli, SIX, terrific shot from Kohli, it was the wrong 'un from Tahir, but he dropped it way too short, Kohli rocks back and pulls it high and wide of mid-wicket. Phangiso gets across, but the ball goes over him and hits the ad cushions on the full, second six for Kohli

12.3 - Phangiso to Kohli, SIX, lovely shot, excellent use of the feet from Kohli, gets to the pitch of the ball and chips it back over the bowler's head, presented a straight bat and it went sailing over the ropes

50.0 - Steyn to Bhuvneshwar, out Bhuvneshwar Run Out!! Bouncer to finish the innings. Bhuvneshwar tries to pull, mistimes it back to the bowler, Axar wanted to steal a run, the ball went straight to Steyn, who ran back and softly disturbed the stumps. Bhuvneshwar run out (Steyn) 0(1)

49.5 - Steyn to Dhoni, out Caught by de Villiers!! Short and quick just outside off stump, Dhoni was cramped for room as he went leg-side, the Indian captain tried to flat-bat it over mid-off, but found his counterpart to perfection. Dhoni c de Villiers b Steyn 15(16) [4s-1]

48.3 - Rabada to Harbhajan, out Bowled!! Rabada is on a hat-trick now. Oh hang on! They are checking the no-ball. That's really tight. Looks like there's nothing behind the line there. This is interesting, the third umpire is convinced that there was something behind the line and he rules that as a legitimate delivery. Harbhajan walks off with a smile. Short of a length delivery down the leg-side, Harbhajan misses the flick, the ball takes the thigh pad and disturbs the leg stump. Harbhajan b Rabada 0(1)

48.2 - Rabada to Kohli, out Caught by de Kock!! Caught down the leg side and Kohli gets a great ovation as he walks back. The incoming Harbhajan Singh claps his hands to acknowledge Kohli's effort. Shortish delivery down the leg-side, Kohli goes for the pull, he is slightly late on the shot and gloves it to the keeper. Rabada picks up his second wicket. Kohli c de Kock b Rabada 138(140) [4s-6 6s-5]

44.5 - Steyn to Raina, out Caught by de Villiers!! Big wicket for South Africa. India wouldn't have bothered losing Kohli at this stage as he's struggling with cramps, but Raina goes back after a well-made 53. This could make a difference of 10-15 runs to the final total as Raina has the ability to hit them big. Short of a length delivery on the leg stump, harmless ball in fact, Raina seemed to play a half-hearted pull and he hit it straight to mid-wicket. Big roar from the crowd as they know that MS Dhoni will stride out now. Raina c de Villiers b Steyn 53(52) [4s-3 6s-1]

26.1 - Steyn to Rahane, out Caught by de Kock!! Steyn returns and he strikes straightaway. The 104-run partnership has been broken. Rahane once again gets in and gets out. It was a short delivery with a hint of reverse, Rahane goes for the cut and gets an under-edge to de Kock, who takes a good low catch. Steyn is pumped up as he lets out a roar. Rahane hangs his head back in disappointment as he makes his way to the dressing room. Rahane c de Kock b Steyn 45(53) [4s-4]

7.5 - Rabada to Dhawan, out Caught by de Kock!! That's an excellent catch from de Kock, yet another cheap dismissal for Dhawan. This was an effort delivery from Rabada, banged in short and on the stumps, Dhawan was cramped up for room as he went for the pull, ends up gloving it in the air and to the right of the keeper. de Kock moved across, dives and comes up with the ball - with his right gloves. The umpires check for a no-ball, but Rabada is fine on that count as well. India have lost both openers now. Dhawan c de Kock b Rabada 7(15)

4.5 - C Morris to Rohit, out Caught by du Plessis!! Soft dismissal for Rohit, that's a big wicket for South Africa. This was pitched up and held its line around middle, Rohit was looking to flick it past mid-wicket, the ball stopped a bit on him, as a result, he couldn't keep it on the ground. du Plessis tumbles forward and completes the catch. Rohit has a disappointed look, stares blindly at the pitch and walks off. He was looking good, but it's just a short cameo. Rohit c du Plessis b C Morris 21(19) [4s-4]

43.2 - Tahir to Raina, 2 runs, would you believe it? AB de Villiers has dropped a catch. Yes, you read that right! Googly from Tahir, Raina advances and tries to loft, ends up slicing it high in the air, AB runs from mid-wicket towards mid-off but doesn't even get his fingertips to it

44.0 - Tahir to Raina, 1 run, a fifty for Raina in 8 ODI innings. Flatter delivery on the stumps, Raina punches it wide of long-on. He gets a good round of applause from the dresssing room and the Chennai crowd

41.0 - C Morris to Kohli, 1 run, the attempted yorker goes as a low full toss, Kohli softly drives it to long-on and that raises the century partnership

24.5 - C Morris to Rahane, 1 run, on a length and outside off, Rahane walks into the drive and sends it to sweeper cover. The 100-run stand comes up, both batsmen congratulate each other

20.1 - C Morris to Kohli, 1 run, 35th ODI fifty. He had scored only one in 13 innings and now he has two-in-two. Back at No. 3 and back amongst the runs. Raises his bat, pumps his chest and aggression in his eyes. He looks set for a big one today. Good length ball curls back in, in fact a bit of reverse, Kohli pushes it to mid-off and takes on AB, he makes it in with a dive. Would have been close had that hit the stumps

47.1 - Mohit Sharma to Rabada, FOUR, overpitched and punished. Full and in the slot, Rabada takes his front leg out of the way and drives it past the diving extra-cover fielder for four

46.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Phangiso, FOUR, Bhuvi tries another bumper, but this time Phangiso goes leg-side and ramps it fine past Dhoni for four. This is impressive batting from Phangiso

45.0 - Bhuvneshwar to Steyn, FOUR, driven down the ground past the non-striker and Raina had no chance at long-on. Steyn drove that on the rise and the timing was so good

39.5 - Harbhajan to de Villiers, FOUR, calculated hit from de Villiers. Long-off was inside the ring, de Villiers danced down the track and lofted it easily over mid-off

36.5 - Axar to C Morris, FOUR, in the air and it's over Rayudu at sweeper cover. Flighted delivery from Axar, Morris plays the reverse-sweep, hits it uppishly and times it well enough to clear the fielder

35.4 - Harbhajan to de Villiers, FOUR, incredible hit! Fired flat and around leg stump line, de Villiers plays the reverse-sweep to perfection, sends it to the right of the man at point and there is no one in the deep

33.2 - Mishra to de Villiers, FOUR, don't take your eyes off this game folks, this man can do anything! Flighted delivery outside off stump, de Villiers plays the reverse-sweep, sends it fine to the left of backward point and it ran away for four

33.1 - Mishra to de Villiers, FOUR, poor ball. Short and on the leg stump, asking for trouble, de Villiers stands tall and pulls it through the vacant mid-wicket region. Good start to the over for the Proteas

32.4 - Bhuvneshwar to de Villiers, FOUR, inside edge and it escapes past the stumps, Dhoni dives to his left but the ball beats him as well. Slower delivery on the stumps, de Villiers steps out and looks to go big, gets a thick edge and gets away with it

32.3 - Bhuvneshwar to de Villiers, FOUR, a fine fifty from a fine player, his 48th fifty in ODIs. He gets a good round of applause from the crowd. "AB, AB, AB," is the chant from the crowd. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, de Villiers advances and slaps it hard over cover

32.1 - Bhuvneshwar to de Villiers, FOUR, rank long hop to start a new spell. Shortish and on the stumps, de Villiers stands tall and pulls well, Axar runs to his left from deep mid-wicket and dives, but loses the race

25.2 - Mishra to de Villiers, FOUR, lovely use of the feet, he dances down the wicket, takes it on the full and flicks it wide of mid-on, the timing and placement was sublime from AB de Villiers

25.0 - Axar to de Villiers, FOUR, de Villiers manages to middle the sweep this time. He sinks to his knee, gets underneath the ball and hits it over square leg, no one there to save the boundary. Slowly he is getting into the groove

23.1 - Mishra to de Villiers, FOUR, superb shot! Floated up on the stumps, de Villiers goes down on one knee and sweeps it over square leg. The fielder was behind square and had no chance of stopping that

21.0 - Axar to Behardien, FOUR, Raina and Dhoni are looking at each other. It was surely Raina's catch. Flighted around off, the ball turns as Behardien drives, the outside edge goes right between Dhoni and slip

17.4 - Harbhajan to D Miller, FOUR, lovely shot! A difficult one to execute against the spin. Floated up just outside off, Miller kneels down and sweeps it over mid-wicket. That is first boundary against a spinner

7.4 - Mohit Sharma to de Kock, FOUR, poor ball from Mohit, dragged the slower ball way too short, de Kock rocks back and pulls it past mid-wicket for a boundary, he's quickly raced away to 33

7.1 - Mohit Sharma to du Plessis, FOUR, top-edge and four, this was banged in short and just outside off, du Plessis was late on the pull, gets a thick top-edge that flies over the keeper and into the fence

6.0 - Mohit Sharma to de Kock, FOUR, Mohit drifts one onto de Kock's legs as the batsman was shuffling across in his crease, neatly whipped away to the fine leg boundary, ruins Mohit's over

4.2 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, no ball, FOUR, lovely shot, too straight from Bhuvneshwar, ends up drifting onto de Kock's pads, whipped away wide of mid-wicket for a boundary. To make matters worse, Bhuvneshwar has overstepped as well

4.1 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, FOUR, poor ball from Bhuvneshwar, short and wide outside off, de Kock quickly latches onto it and cracks it in front of square on the off-side, beats the inner ring and races away to the fence

1.5 - Mohit Sharma to de Kock, FOUR, de Kock makes most of the free-hit, the slower ball from Mohit, but there was width on offer, de Kock throws his hands at that and lashes it over cover for a boundary

0.4 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, FOUR, no stopping this one though, short of a length and angling across the left-hander, de Kock prods across and punches it square and with an open face, beats cover-point and races away to the fence

42.3 - Mishra to de Villiers, SIX, hit hard and hit flat, the ball sails past the long-off boundary. What a knock under pressure from ABdV, it's his 22nd hundred in ODIs. Flighted delivery just outside off stump, de Villiers advances and loft-drives it back over the bowler's head. He takes the helmet off and raises his bat to the crowd and the dressing room

42.0 - Harbhajan to de Villiers, SIX, this is in the air and it has enough legs to clear the deep mid-wicket boundary. Flighted delivery on the off stump, de Villiers slogs across the line, not from the middle of the bat, but the timing was good enough. He moves on to 97

9.0 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, SIX, cracking shot, short of a length and angling into de Kock, he shuffles across, uses the angle and flicks it high and behind square on the on-side, went sailing over the ropes for a maximum

46.5 - Bhuvneshwar to Steyn, out Caught by Rahane!! Short ball from Bhuvneshwar, Steyn goes for the pull, but doesn't time it properly. The ball goes high in the air, deep square leg runs forward and to his left to take a good catch. South Africa have lost their last 3 wickets for 17 runs. Steyn c Rahane b Bhuvneshwar 6(7) [4s-1]

46.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Phangiso, out Caught by Axar!! Third short ball in a row and it works for Bhuvi and India. Short delivery following the batsman as he makes room, Phangiso goes for the pull, but it hits him high on the bat and balloons towards point. Axar runs forward and takes an easy catch. Phangiso c Axar b Bhuvneshwar 20(22) [4s-1]

44.3 - Bhuvneshwar to de Villiers, out Caught by Dhoni!! This is the wicket India wanted at this stage. Great sportsmanship from AB de Villiers. He's in full control of proceedings and South Africa need him badly, but he doesn't wait for the umpire's decision and walks off immediately. Bhuvneshwar bangs this slower ball very short, de Villiers goes for the pull, gets the top edge, Dhoni dived forward and completed the catch. End of a terrific innings from the South African captain. de Villiers c Dhoni b Bhuvneshwar 112(107) [4s-10 6s-2]

38.1 - Mohit Sharma to C Morris, out C Morris Run Out!! Appeal for LBW, not given and rightly so as it was sliding down the leg-side. Oh this could be a run-out as Morris was late to respond to ABdV's call, Rahane takes aim from point and fires a direct-hit at the bowler's end. This was a back of a length delivery that reversed back in, Morris was beaten on the flick, the ball rolled into the off-side off the pad, de Villiers wanted the strike back and called for the run, but Morris was late to respond. Jinks moved forward, picked up the ball and was accurate with his throw. Morris was not even in the picture. C Morris run out (Rahane) 9(18) [4s-1]

31.5 - Mishra to Behardien, out Lbw!! Howzaaatttt is the cry from the crowd and the Men in Blue, all eyes on S Ravi and up goes the finger this time, much to delight of the crowd. Mishy gets his name into the wickets column. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Behardien gets down on one knee to sweep, misses and is struck right in front of off stump. That ball would have at least crashed into middle and leg. Behardien lbw b Mishra 22(38) [4s-1]

18.0 - Harbhajan to D Miller, out Lbw!! That is plumb! AB knew it at the non-striker's end as he didn't show any sign of amusement when Ravi raised the finger. It was the straighter one, Miller doesn't pick it, prods forward to play for the turn, is struck right in front of off-stump. The ball would have gone on to hit middle-stump. This is top class bowling from Bhajji. D Miller lbw b Harbhajan 6(12) [4s-1]

14.4 - Axar to du Plessis, out Caught by Dhoni!! du Plessis can't believe but he has to go! The appeal was spontaneous, Axar was sure, so was Dhoni. Replays suggest that there was a sound, was it off the bat? This was tossed up slower and just outside off, du Plessis was on the back foot as he aimed the drive, there was a noise, the Indians were certain that there was a nick, the umpire's finger went up after a while. du Plessis stood there in utter shock, was he disappointed about his own shot? We need to have a look at snicko to confirm about the edge. du Plessis c Dhoni b Axar 17(34) [4s-1]

11.3 - Harbhajan to de Kock, out Caught by Rahane!! Harbhajan has deserved this wicket! Lovely loop and drift from the off-spinner, this was tossed up outside off, drifts into the left-hander before spinning away. de Kock was committed to the drive, doesn't get to the pitch of the ball, the outside edge is found and it's safely held by Rahane, moving to his right at gully. A sparkling knock from de Kock, but he's once again found short against an off-spinner. de Kock c Rahane b Harbhajan 43(35) [4s-6 6s-1]

5.1 - Mohit Sharma to Amla, out Caught by Dhawan!! Tame dismissal for Amla, he walks back gutted. Chepauk is bristling with delight! This was banged in short and just outside off, Amla swivelled across on the pull, doesn't bother to keep it on the ground, ends up hitting it straight to Dhawan at mid-wicket. A slice of luck for the Indians, but they have managed to break this opening stand. Another failure for Amla, he's had a quiet series so far. Amla c Dhawan b Mohit Sharma 7(10)

29.1 - Mishra to de Villiers, no run, another run-out chance missed! Fraction short and outside off, de Villiers would have been better off cutting the ball, but mistimes the pull to mid-on, Behardien was looking for the single and was halfway down before being sent back, Bhuvi fires a wayward throw at the bowler's end, that allows Behardien to make his ground

2.3 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, 1 run, communication breakdown between the two batsmen and Amla nearly ran himself out. In fact, de Kock would have been OUT if there was a direct hit at his end as well. This was a short of a length delivery and on the stumps. It stopped on the batsman, de Kock was pushing forward, ends up chipping it back past the non-striker. Rohit gets across to his right from mid-on, puts in the dive and makes a half-stop. de Kock wanted the single, Amla was on his heels. The shy is at both ends, but the ball doesn't hit the stumps at either. Both batsmen were struggling and in the end - both are safe
