47.3 - Neesham to D Miller, FOUR, edgeddddd but in the gap. Fullish and outside off stump, Miller goes for the drive, gets a thick edge, the ball splits short third man and backward to perfection. Miller wears a big smile on his face and punches gloves with his partner

46.5 - Milne to Behardien, FOUR, it's a top edgeee and that's good enough for Behardien and South Africa. Short delivery on the stumps, Behardien goes for the pull, plays little early and the edge flies over the keeper

44.5 - Milne to Amla, FOUR, wooowww! What timing from Hash! Full and wide outside off stump, Amla backs away, reaches out and squeeze it out with an angled bat, backward point dives to his left but it evades him

44.0 - McClenaghan to Amla, FOUR, oh that's rocketed to the fence. Shortish and on the leg stump, looked like it was the slower ball, Amla takes his front leg out of the way and goes baaaaang, with his pull shot to the right of mid-wicket

43.3 - McClenaghan to Amla, FOUR, this is excellent placement from Hash! McClenaghan bangs the slower ball short, Amla waits on the back foot after opening himself up for the upper cut and times it sweetly, the ball flies over backward point and beats third man

43.0 - Ish Sodhi to de Villiers, FOUR, oh that's sneaked through Ronchi's legs, but the umpire reckons there was a bit of bottom edge on that one. Flighted delivery outside off stump, de Villiers goes for the sweep again, looked like he missed it but the umpire thought there was bat involved. ABdV won't complain though as it adds a boundary to his name

38.2 - Munro to Amla, FOUR, just a flick of the wrists and the placement is so good from Hash! Slower ball on the stumps, Amla hops and flicks it along the ground through square leg, the fielder in the deep had no chance

36.1 - Ish Sodhi to Rossouw, FOUR, the reverse sweep and it's executed well by Rossouw. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Rossouw gets into position early and sends it off the middle of the bat, beats the man at backward point as well

34.3 - Ish Sodhi to Amla, FOUR, Amla races down the track and drives it to the left of cover, long-off runs to his left and dives near the boundary but the ball wins the race. The timing was so good on that occasion

32.5 - Ish Sodhi to Rossouw, FOUR, edged and four, more fortune for Rossouw, comes down the track, is done in by the flight, slashes and gets a thick edge past the keeper, races away to the fence in a hurry

31.2 - Milne to Rossouw, FOUR, short and just outside off, Rossouw swivels across, closes the face of the bat and plays a flat-batted pull - to the right of mid-on, the ball races away to the fence, raises Rossouw's fifty as well

30.3 - Munro to Amla, FOUR, just over extra cover and into the fence, on a good length and just outside off, Amla plays with an open face and goes over extra cover, the fielder at mid-off chases, but the ball races away to the fence

29.2 - Elliott to Rossouw, FOUR, lovely shot, on a good length and well outside off, Rossouw gets a good stride forward and punches it on the up, clears mid-off and races away to the fence

24.1 - McClenaghan to Rossouw, FOUR, cracking shot, fraction too short and well outside off, Rossouw picks up the length early and pulls it in front of square on the on-side, races away to the fence in a hurry

23.5 - Nathan McCullum to Amla, FOUR, lovely shot, a little shimmy from Amla, gets to the pitch of the ball and goes over the bowler's head, one bounce and over the ropes for a boundary

18.4 - Ish Sodhi to Amla, FOUR, fifty for Amla, the run machine continues to plug away, just a little shimmy down the track, made room as he did so and goes inside out through extra cover, beats the man at sweeper to the fence

18.0 - Neesham to Amla, FOUR, third boundary of the over! Friendly short ball from Neesham, no real pace behind it, Amla swivels across, rolls his wrists and pulls it behind square on the on-side for a boundary

17.5 - Neesham to Amla, FOUR, edged and four, this was full and well outside off, lured Amla into the expansive drive, finds the outside edge but it rushes past the diving keeper. Slip was very wide

17.3 - Neesham to Amla, FOUR, lovely shot, overpitched and on Amla's pads, he gets inside the line and whips it powerfully past mid-wicket, the timing wasn't great but the ball raced away to the fence

14.0 - Neesham to Rossouw, FOUR, cracking shot, Rossouw takes a step down the track, closes the face of the bat and drives it on the up, the fielder at mid-off dives, but the ball races away to the fence for a boundary

10.3 - McClenaghan to Amla, FOUR, this is even better! Fraction short and wide outside off, Amla stands tall and punches it square past cover-point, no need to run for those

10.2 - McClenaghan to Amla, FOUR, cracking shot, overpitched and well outside off, Amla leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and drills it past cover-point, races away to the fence in a hurry

6.4 - McClenaghan to van Wyk, FOUR, much better from McClenaghan, but it's cost him a boundary, on a good length and a hint of shape away from off, van Wyk pokes forward and gets a healthy outside edge, races away past second slip, beats third man to the fence

6.1 - McClenaghan to Amla, leg byes, FOUR, short and on Amla's pads, he gets inside the line on the flick, misses and the ball races away off the thigh-pad, beats the diving keeper and races away to the fence for a boundary

2.1 - Nathan McCullum to van Wyk, FOUR, nicely played by van Wyk, shimmies down the track, gets to the pitch of a well flighted delivery and chips it back over the bowler's head, almost went all the way, bounces just in front of the ropes for a boundary

1.4 - Milne to van Wyk, FOUR, cracking shot, overpitched and well outside off, swings away further, van Wyk leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and caresses it past extra cover for a boundary

49.2 - McClenaghan to Wiese, SIX, in the airrrrr and that's tipped over the bar. 300 up for the Proteas. Slower delivery goes very short, Wiese goes for the hook, hits it flat, the man at fine leg was slightly inside, he tried to reverse-cup it but it popped out and landed over the rope

49.1 - McClenaghan to Wiese, SIX, oh that is a handy hit from Wiese. McClenaghan misses his yorker by a small distance, but that was good enough for Wiese, who slogged it across the line and just cleared wide long-on

47.0 - Milne to Behardien, SIX, my word! That was bowled at 150.1kph by Milne but Behardien had no problems in timing that sweetly. Length ball right in the slot, with his front leg out of the way, Behardien lofts it handsomely over wide long-off. He hardly tried to smash it, just executed the lofted drive to perfection. Handy over for the Proteas, 14 came off it

37.2 - Neesham to Rossouw, SIX, in the airrr, a chance for the man at deep mid-wicket, but it just evades him. Neesham bangs the slower ball short, Rossouw pulls, doesn't get the timing right, Bracewell jumps high and tries to grab it with his left hand but misses

36.3 - Ish Sodhi to Rossouw, SIX, in the airrrr, not timed well, but it has enough legs to go all the way. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Rossouw advances, gets to the pitch of the ball, goes for the slog, the ball goes off the outside half of the bat and just clears long-on

21.4 - Nathan McCullum to Rossouw, SIX, lovely shot, Rossouw comes down the track, clears his left leg and heaves a well flighted delivery over long-on, sends it high and into the long-on stands

19.4 - Nathan McCullum to Amla, SIX, excellent use of the feet from Amla, comes down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and sends it soaring - high and over long-off for a maximum

6.2 - McClenaghan to Amla, SIX, cracking shot, the short ball theory isn't working for McClenaghan, banged this one short and on the stumps, Amla swivels across and pulls it high and over long leg, clears the fielder in the deep for another maximum

5.0 - McClenaghan to Amla, SIX, lovely shot, too short from McClenaghan, too much width as well, Amla rides with the bounce and cuts it up and over backward point, went sailing over the ropes for a maximum

50.0 - McClenaghan to Wiese, out Wiese Run Out!! Excellent fielding from McClenaghan. Fullish in length, Wiese swings very hard, but only manages to get an inside onto pad, the ball stays just beside the pitch, McClenaghan picks it up, turns back and fires a direct-hit at the non-striker's end. Wiese run out (McClenaghan) 14(8) [6s-2]

49.5 - McClenaghan to Behardien, out Behardien Run Out!! South Africa try to steal another bye but this time Ronchi and McClenaghan do well to send back Behardien. Another swing and a miss, this time from Behardien to a pacy bumper, Wiese runs for a bye, Behardien was late to react as he was on the back foot to pull, Ronchi threw it to McClenaghan, who then under-armed the ball onto the stumps at the bowler's end. Behardien run out (Ronchi/McClenaghan) 15(10) [4s-1 6s-1]

48.0 - Neesham to D Miller, out Caught by Milne!! The off-cutting slower ball does the trick for Neesham. Miller was never able to pick one from Neesham, he goes for the drive this time and gets a thick outside edge which goes straight to backward point, who takes a good low catch. D Miller c Milne b Neesham 14(13) [4s-1]

45.0 - Milne to Amla, out Bowled!! The fist pump from Milne and why not! This is a fantastic inswinging yorker at 141.9 kph and it was too good for Hash, who walks off to a standing ovation. Amla stays leg-side of the ball and tries to drive, misses and the ball crashes into the base of middle stump. The incoming batsman congratulates Amla for his excellent knock. This is a great over for the Black Caps. Milne has got two massive wickets. Amla b Milne 124(126) [4s-13 6s-3]

44.2 - Milne to de Villiers, out Caught by Latham!! The pull shot again, done for pace again but this time it goes straight to the man at deep mid-wicket. Short delivery on the stumps, de Villiers is hurried by Milne on this occasion, the ball hits him high on the bat, hence no timing on it and Latham makes no mistake. This wicket could make a difference of at least 20-25 runs to the final total. de Villiers c Latham b Milne 9(9) [4s-1]

41.5 - McClenaghan to Rossouw, out Bowled!! Wow! What a ball, the leg stump is broken! That ends a terrific 185-run stand as well. Fast yorker from round the wicket, Rossouw is beaten comprehensively for pace, is late to bring his bat down, it escapes past Rossouw's left boot and crashes into the base of leg stump. That looked really fast but the speed of that ball wasn't shown. Anyway, Rossouw walks back after a very good hand. Rossouw b McClenaghan 89(112) [4s-6 6s-3]

8.4 - McClenaghan to van Wyk, out Caught by Nathan McCullum!! The change of angle has worked for McClenaghan. This was short of a length and held its line outside off, van Wyk was caught in two minds, makes a late call to dab it towards third man, goes at the ball half-heartedly and steers it straight to McCullum at gully. New Zealand have struck, a promising stand has been broken. van Wyk c Nathan McCullum b McClenaghan 16(22) [4s-3]

30.5 - Munro to Amla, 1 run, dropped! Latham is the culprit, this was a far easier chance though. This was pitched up and held its line outside off, Amla was looking to go inside out, hits it uppishly and to the left of extra cover. Latham gets across, gets both hands and allows the ball to pop out

25.5 - Elliott to Rossouw, 2 runs, Milne drops a tough chance, he reacted late to the chance, on a length and angling back into Rossouw, he played with the angle and flicked it over mid-wicket. Milne rushed across from the deep, put in the dive, but the ball popped out of his palms

39.1 - Elliott to Amla, 1 run, 21st ODI hundred for Hashim Amla and the dressing room stands and applauds. Rossouw congratulates him for his wonderful knock. He gets a good ovation from the crowd as well. Short of a length delivery on the leg stump, Amla tucks it behind square on the on-side and gets to the milestone. No great celebrations from Amla, he just takes the helmet off and raises the bat

36.5 - Ish Sodhi to Amla, 1 run, flighted delivery just outside off stump, Amla drives it to long-off and that brings up the 150-run stand. The duo congratulate each other for their wonderful show

47.5 - Steyn to McClenaghan, FOUR, top-edge and four. New Zealand are still in it. Quick short delivery right at the batsman, McClenaghan goes for the pull and the ball takes the glove and balloons over van Wyk, fine leg is inside the ring and these are handy runs

46.1 - Wiese to Milne, FOUR, slower delivery that is dropped short, Milne spotted it early, got into position and pulled it behind square, beat the man near the boundary and collects four

46.0 - Tahir to McClenaghan, byes, FOUR, finishes his spell with a wrong 'un. McClenaghan has a swipe at that and misses, van Wyk is also beaten and bonus runs for New Zealand

42.5 - Wiese to Nathan McCullum, FOUR, poor delivery from Wiese, short and plenty of width on offer, McCullum takes a step down and cracks it square of the wicket on the off-side, sweeper had no chance

39.4 - Philander to Munro, FOUR, the boundaries keep flowing. This time it is Munro who joins the party, short and width on offer, Munro cracks the cut square of the wicket, sweeper had no chance of stopping that

38.5 - Rabada to Neesham, no ball, FOUR, third boundary of the over and New Zealand are keeping the game alive. What's more, Rabada has overstepped. Pitched up around off, Neesham hammers it to the left of the bowler, mid-on dives in vain

38.3 - Rabada to Neesham, FOUR, Neesham is turning it on here. Consecutive boundaries for him and the 50-run stand comes up. Length delivery in the slot, Neesham hoicks it over mid-wicket, Tahir at deep square leg couldn't stop that

38.2 - Rabada to Neesham, FOUR, the partnership is motoring along nicely. Fullish and on the stumps, Neesham whips it behind square leg, there was a man at fine leg, but he couldn't get there

38.0 - Steyn to Neesham, FOUR, 200 up for New Zealand with a cracking shot. It was a freebie from Steyn, went for the yorker and ends up gifting a full toss, Neesham heaves it wide of mid-wicket, the ball raced away

37.1 - Steyn to Neesham, FOUR, drilled! It was bowled at 144.2kph and went to the boundary much quicker than that. Overpitched and in the slot, Neesham muscles it straight down the ground, no one moved in the field

34.0 - Philander to Munro, FOUR, back-to-back boundaries. Nice way to end the over. Good length ball outside off, Munro moves forward and drives on the up, caresses it through extra cover, no one sweeping and the ball beats AB's chase from mid-off

33.5 - Philander to Munro, FOUR, Philander gets the line wrong, slants it onto the pads, Munro flicks it square on the leg-side, Steyn runs to his right from fine leg, bends and allows the ball to escape

33.0 - Tahir to Neesham, FOUR, flatter and outside off, Neesham goes back and punches through extra cover, Wiese gives chase but comes second. A much needed boundary for New Zealand as the pressure was being built

29.2 - Philander to Elliott, FOUR, in the air and in the gap. Fullish and just outside off, Elliott leans forward and drives it uppishly, places it between extra cover and mid-off, Rabada gives chase in vain

27.3 - Wiese to Guptill, FOUR, superb shot! Wiese under pressure. Guptill knows that he is not having a good day and is taking him on. Pitched up outside off, Guptill comes forward and drives through the line, that reaced the fence in a hurry

27.1 - Wiese to Guptill, FOUR, welcomed to the crease with a crunching drive. Overpitched outside off, Guptill plants his foot forward and drills it to the right of mid-off, no one moved as the ball raced away

23.1 - Rabada to Guptill, leg byes, FOUR, Rabada errs in line, drifts onto the pads, Guptill gets inside the line, but doesn't get any wood, the ball brushes the thigh pad and goes fine. Bonus runs for New Zealand

18.5 - Wiese to Williamson, FOUR, rank long hop and Williamson is onto it in a flash. The off-speed delivery that is dropped short, Williamson had ample time to rock back and pull it over mid-wicket, no one in the deep and that is the second boundary of the over

18.1 - Wiese to Williamson, FOUR, the runs have started to flow. Poor line from Wiese, strays onto the pads, Williamson gets inside the line and glances it fine, the fielder was square and it was easy pickings

17.5 - Steyn to Latham, FOUR, edged and four! Not the most convincing of ways, but New Zealand and Latham will take that. Full and outside off, Latham goes chasing after it, the outside edge goes wide of first slip and beats the man at third man

16.4 - Wiese to Williamson, FOUR, shortish in length and Williamson pulls it wide of mid-on, it was in the air for a while but in the gap

15.4 - Tahir to Williamson, FOUR, on the off stump, Williamson gets down on one knee and paddles it fine to fine leg

14.4 - Wiese to Latham, FOUR, overpitched and punished. Full and outside off stump, Latham drives it through mid-off and it runs away for four

12.3 - Rabada to Latham, FOUR, short of length delivery just outside off stump, Latham gets on top of the bounce and cuts it to the left of backward point. 50 up for the visitors

10.3 - Rabada to Latham, leg byes, FOUR, short of length delivery down the leg-side, Latham tries to tickle it on its way, but misses, the ball rolls off the thigh pad and goes to the fine leg boundary

6.0 - Philander to Latham, FOUR, even a full length dive from ABdV wasn't good enough to stop the ball. Fullish and outside off stump, Latham drives with a straight bat and beats the man at mid-off

46.4 - Wiese to McClenaghan, SIX, is there still life in this game? If they keep hitting like this, certainly yes. Short of a length outside off, McClenaghan walks across and nails the pull over deep mid-wicket for a maximum

41.1 - Philander to Munro, SIX, "catch" was the shout from some of the Proteas, but it sailed over comfortably. Short delivery on leg-stump, Munro swivels and helps it on the way with a pull, Rabada could only see it sail over the fence

25.0 - Tahir to Guptill, SIX, lovely shot! No problems with the wrist there. Nice loopy delivery outside off, Guptill fetches it from there and smacks it over the bowler's head, he mistimed it but the ball had enough to clear the fence

8.0 - Philander to Williamson, SIX, short delivery on the off stump, Williamson goes on the back foot and pulls it handsomely over the deep backward square leg fence

2.5 - Steyn to Latham, SIX, short delivery on the stumps, Latham goes for the pull, the ball goes off the outside half of the bat and it flies over the backward square leg boundary

48.1 - Rabada to Milne, out Ish Sodhi Run Out!! 1 run completed. South Africa win by 20 runs. It was a risky second run and Sodhi is caught short. Pitched up delivery around off, Milne drills it to the left of the bowler, Vernon slides to his right at mid-off, makes a slight fumble, that prompted the duo to go for the second, Vernon recovers quickly and throws to Rabada, who keeps calm and takes the bails off. Sodhi was well short of the crease. Even the third umpire was not needed. Ish Sodhi run out (Philander/Rabada) 0(0)

48.0 - Steyn to McClenaghan, out Bowled!! The stump is broken. Length delivery right in the slot, McClenaghan steps out and gives himself some room, wanted to send it out of the park, he missed and the off-stump is broken into two. A cameo from McClenaghan comes to an end. McClenaghan b Steyn 16(13) [4s-1 6s-1]

45.0 - Rabada to Nathan McCullum, out Caught by Behardien!! Great catch! Banged in halfway down the wicket, McCullum goes for the hook, top-edges it to deep backward square, Behardien runs to his right, dives and takes it with both hands. He had a lot of ground to cover and he did well to reach there and more importantly pouch it. Nathan McCullum c Behardien b Rabada 10(14) [4s-1]

43.1 - Tahir to Munro, out Lbw!! That should be the game for South Africa. It was a poor, poor shot from Munro, who wouldn't want to watch it on the replay. He goes for the switch hit, Tahir fires it full and on the stumps, Munro missed and is struck in front of middle, that is plumb. Tahir is off and running, once again provides the vital breakthrough for the hosts. Munro lbw b Tahir 33(32) [4s-3 6s-1]

40.4 - Wiese to Neesham, out Caught by van Wyk!! Huge wicket! Wiese provides the much needed breakthrough for the hosts. He is pumped up and why not! It was the slower ball bumper, Neesham was ages early into the pull, the top-edge balloons to van Wyk, who accepts it gleefully. A handy knock from Neesham comes to an end. Neesham c van Wyk b Wiese 41(41) [4s-6]

29.5 - Philander to Latham, out Lbw!! Second in the over and South Africa might have just wrapped it up. Latham hangs his head back and walks. Philander is pumped up. Full and on the stumps, Latham shuffles across and misses the flick, is struck in front of middle, would have crashed into middle-stump. Good decision from umpire Johanes Cloete. Latham lbw b Philander 60(80) [4s-4 6s-1]

29.3 - Philander to Elliott, out Caught by D Miller!! The bowling change has worked. So has the fielding move. Wiese was removed from slip, Miller was brought in and he pouches it comfortably. The umpires check for a no-ball, but Philander is fine. Short of a length and around off, Elliott pokes at it feebly, the outside edge goes to the left of first slip, Miller moves across and takes a good catch. South Africa slowly taking a grip of the match. Elliott c D Miller b Philander 4(3) [4s-1]

28.0 - Wiese to Guptill, out Caught by D Miller!! Needless! Just when I thought he was batting sensibly, Guptill throws it away. Wiese breathes a sigh of relief. He has taken a pounding till now, but this should give him confidence. Another slower delivery, Guptill goes for the loft over the bowler's head, is deceived for pace and drags it to long-on, Miller takes a simple catch. Guptill c D Miller b Wiese 25(23) [4s-2 6s-1]

22.2 - Tahir to Williamson, out Caught by (sub)Elgar!! Tahir strikes! First time after 6 ODI innings that Williamson has not scored a 50-plus score. It was the googly on off, Williamson makes a bit of room and goes inside out, doesn't get the elevation and finds the substitute Elgar at extra cover, who was standing right at the edge of the circle. Tahir as usual is off on a celebratory run. A much needed wicket for South Africa. Williamson c (sub)Elgar b Tahir 47(69) [4s-4 6s-1]

1.0 - Steyn to Ronchi, out Caught by Amla!! The outside edge is finally held. However, the umpires are checking if it was a clean catch. No issues with Steyn's footing. Oh! This is a very close one for the man in the air-conditioned box. Did it touch the grass before Amla closed his fingers? Will the benefit of the doubt go to the batsman? Interestingly, Ronchi has crossed the boundary and is climbing the stairs to the dressing room. Looks like the third umpire is happy with what he's seen. OUT is the call! What an eventful over from Steyn. Nothing but an outswinging length ball just outside off stump, Ronchi looks to defend off the front foot, goes with hard hands, the ball takes a thick outside edge, Amla does extremely well to dive low to his left and grab it inches from the ground. Ronchi c Amla b Steyn 1(4)

41.0 - Wiese to Nathan McCullum, no run, dropped! That is the third catch Wiese has put down today. It was the toughest of all. Fuller and around off, McCullum drives it back to the bowler, Wiese sticks out his right hand in his followthrough, but it doesn't stick. The bat turned in McCullum's hand and hence no timing. It has certainly not been a catching day for Wiese

37.3 - Steyn to Neesham, 2 runs, dropped! The fielding today has been very poor from both the teams. Rabada the latest to grass one. Another sharp bumper from Steyn, Neesham takes it on and top-edges the pull to fine leg, Rabada never looked comfortable as he kept swivelling and in the end just got a fingertip. Fortunately it didn't cross the boundary

0.4 - Steyn to Ronchi, 1 run, it's an outside edgeeeee and it's put down at second slip. Is this South Africa? Both the openers have been dropped now. Good length delivery swinging away outside off stump, Ronchi looks to defend, but ends up poking at it, debutant David Wiese dives low to his right and it bursts through the fingers. In fact it hit Wiese on the wrists before escaping for four

47.4 - Steyn to McClenaghan, 2 runs, run-out chance missed! van Wyk fails to take the bails off. Full toss outside off, McClenaghan drags it to deep mid-wicket off the inner part of the bat, Milne was always coming back for the second, McClenaghan was late to respond, the throw comes at the striker's end, it was very wide, van Wyk collects, dives but doesn't take the bails off as he swings his arms, even a dive from McClenaghan wouldn't have saved him

44.1 - Rabada to Nathan McCullum, 1 run, another risky single taken. Short of length delivery, McCullum tucks it towards mid-wicket, Miller runs to his right and release the ball quickly, he fails to hit the target at the bowler's end, direct hit would have had McCullum short of the crease

43.0 - Wiese to Nathan McCullum, no run, direct hit and Munro was a goner. The off-speed delivery on off, McCullum works it towards mid-wicket, is a bit late in sending Munro back, AB runs to his left from mid-wicket and flicks the ball at the bowler's end, he missed and that allowed Munro to get back

21.1 - Rabada to Latham, 1 run, back of a length outside off, Latham punches square of the wicket on the off-side. Registers his 2nd ODI fifty. A wave of the bat to acknowledge the applause from his team-mates

20.3 - Tahir to Williamson, 1 run, again, not much air, quicker and on leg-stump, Williamson tucks it to deep square leg, takes the single and brings up the 100-run stand. The duo congratulate each other
