82.1 - Elgar to Shakib, FOUR, that's way too short from Elgar, Shakib goes on the back foot and punches it hard and to the left of cover for a boundary

80.3 - Elgar to Nasir Hossain, FOUR, that's a juicy full toss outside off stump, Hossain waits for it to come and slogs it easily over mid-wicket for four

69.4 - Harmer to Shakib, FOUR, Shakib continues to play with a dash of adventurousness as he uses his feet to this tossed up delivery and lofts it wide of mid-on for a four. He has put the bowler under pressure here

69.1 - Harmer to Shakib, FOUR, Shakib has come out with a positive intent as he uses his feet to this flighted delivery and lofts it over mid-off for a boundary

69.0 - M Morkel to Rahim, leg byes, FOUR, this has been a very poor over from Morkel. This one is going down leg, Rahim gets a tickle past the diving wicket-keeper for a four

68.2 - M Morkel to Shakib, FOUR, width on offer by Morkel from round the wicket. Shakib clubs it away through cover point for a boundary. A gift on offer from Morkel and duly accepted by the batsman

61.1 - Harmer to Mahmudullah, FOUR, Mahmudullah follows in the footsteps of Rahim by using his feet to come close to the pitch of the tossed up delivery and loft it over mid-on for a boundary. He went with the shot and that was the key point to notice

55.2 - Harmer to Rahim, FOUR, straightaway Rahim shows positive intent. He uses his feet to a tossed up delivery from Harmer, comes close to the pitch of the ball and lofts it over mid-on for a boundary. Bangladesh are on their way in the final sesion

53.0 - M Morkel to Rahim, FOUR, Morkel releases the pressure with a poor ball, short and well outside off, dabbed away in the gap between slip and gully for a boundary

52.2 - M Morkel to Rahim, FOUR, poor ball from Morkel, gets his line wrong and spears this one well down the leg-side, Rahim shuffles across and flicks it very fine, the ball races away to the fence in a jiffy

47.3 - Harmer to Rahim, FOUR, back-to-back boundaries for Rahim, goes down on his knees to a well flighted delivery and sweeps it behind square, didn't get it off the middle of the bat but finds the gap past square leg

47.2 - Harmer to Rahim, FOUR, excellent use of the feet from Rahim, comes down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball, plays with the spin and beats cover with the drive, no need to run for those

43.2 - Harmer to Rahim, FOUR, Rahim brings out his favourite slog sweep, this was tossed up and just outside off, Rahim goes down on his knees and finds the gap wide of mid-wicket, nice way to welcome Harmer

39.5 - M Morkel to Mahmudullah, FOUR, shoddy from Steyn, this was full and on Mahmudullah's pads, he clipped it away behind square on the on-side. Steyn gets across from long leg and allows the ball to go through his legs, ends up conceding a couple of extra runs

38.2 - Steyn to Rahim, FOUR, flicked uppishly as Rahim was hurried by the late swing back into the right-hander, the ball went to the right of mid-wicket and ran away to the boundary

38.0 - M Morkel to Mahmudullah, byes, FOUR, swinging down the leg-side and it's too good for Dane Vilas, who fails to get to the ball despite putting in a full length dive

33.0 - Philander to Mahmudullah, FOUR, rides the bounce nicely there. Waits for the short of length delivery to come to him, opens the face of the bat at the last moment and runs it past the second slip fielder for four. Off the mark in style

30.1 - Philander to Mominul, FOUR, edged and four, this was pitched up and went with the angle across the left-hander, drew Mominul into the drive, the edge is found and it flies wide of Amla at 1st slip, races away to the fence for a boundary

28.2 - Elgar to Mominul, FOUR, very full and slightly outside off, Mominul essays a sublime cover-drive through deep extra cover for a boundary. Precise metre of timing from the batsman there

19.5 - Harmer to Kayes, FOUR, Kayes brings up the 50-run stand in style. He brings out the sweep shot to this delivery bowled on the stumps to hit it to the deep square leg boundary. He played that shot all along the carpet

18.2 - van Zyl to Mominul, FOUR, this was overpitched from van Zyl, Mominul leans into the drive and bisects the gap through short cover to perfection and collects a boundary. It scurried to the boundary boards there

16.0 - Harmer to Mominul, FOUR, this time, Mominul comes onto the front foot and drives it square of the wicket on the off-side for a boundary. He found the gap through cover-point perfectly

14.5 - M Morkel to Kayes, FOUR, this time, Morkel presents a nice seam position and extracts bounce from back of a length, it hits high on the splice of Kayes' bat and goes between second slip and gully for a four

12.3 - M Morkel to Mominul, FOUR, nicely played by Mominul, width on offer from Morkel, Mominul hops across, gets on top of the bounce, uses the pace on the ball and steers it behind square on the off-side for a boundary

10.5 - M Morkel to Mominul, FOUR, lovely shot, banged in short and on the stumps, Mominul swivels across and pulls it over square leg, the timing is sweet and the ball races away to the fence in a hurry

10.1 - M Morkel to Mominul, leg byes, FOUR, Mominul has been pinged on the helmet! This was a hostile short delivery from Morkel, Mominul took his eyes off it and ended up ducking right into the line, the ball hits him on the side of the helmet and races away past the slip cordon for four leg-byes. Mominul looked dazed for a moment, but recovers well

2.4 - Steyn to Tamim, FOUR, cracking shot, fraction too short from Steyn, Iqbal swivels across, rolls his wrists and pulls it past square leg, no need to run for those, first boundary for Tamim

2.0 - Philander to Kayes, FOUR, lovely shot, overpitched and just outside off, Kayes leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and drives it past the diving mid-on fielder for a boundary. Morne got a hand on the dive, but the ball had enough to hit the ropes

88.1 - Steyn to Mohammad Shahid, out Bowled!! Timbaahhh! A wild slog from Shahid, he misses but Steyn doesn't. Good length delivery on the off stump, Shahid clears his front leg and targets mid-wicket, but was nowhere close to the ball and it hits the top of off stump. Mohammad Shahid b Steyn 1(4)

87.1 - M Morkel to Shakib, out Caught by Elgar!! Morne Morkel gets a wicket first ball of his new spell. What a timely strike this is, just before stumps. Short of a length delivery just outside off stump, Shakib was looking to defend, but the late away movement opened him up completely, the ball took a thick edge and went to gully, where Elgar took a good catch diving to his left. Shakib doesn't convert his start. Shakib c Elgar b M Morkel 35(65) [4s-4]

77.3 - Duminy to Litton Das, out Caught by Elgar!! That's a soft dismissal and Duminy has three wickets now. Shoritsh ball spinning back into the right-hander, Litton Das gets down on one knee and tries to sweep, gets it on the toe-end of the bat and it loops to short mid-wicket. The South African players are delighted and why not. Litton Das c Elgar b Duminy 3(11)

74.1 - Elgar to Rahim, out Caught by Dane Vilas!! Rahim shakes his head as he walks back. Interestingly, the keeper calmed down for a while after appealing for it first time. As his team-mates were convinced, he joined them and appealed again. Was there a clear edge? One can't clearly make out. Since there was not enough evidence to overturn the on-field call, umpire Paul Reiffel's call was upheld. Flighted delivery outside off stump, Rahim looks to defend off the front foot, but the ball spins sharply, bounces a bit extra too and probably takes a faint edge en route to the keeper. End of a fine knock from the skipper. Rahim c Dane Vilas b Elgar 65(125) [4s-7]

62.4 - Steyn to Mahmudullah, out Caught by Bavuma!! Reversing swing has done the trick for Steyn! He pulls his length back a touch and this one tails in sharply, Mahmudullah brings out the flick shot and it goes straight to Bavuma at short mid-wicket, who takes a simple catch. Some good captaincy too as with the ball reversing, there was a short mid-wicket in place. Steyn has certainly made the SG ball talk. Mahmudullah c Bavuma b Steyn 35(91) [4s-3]

33.1 - Duminy to Kayes, out Lbw!! Hugeeee shout for LBW, looks plumb to me and the finger goes up. Boy, Duminy has got two wickets in the space of 4 balls now. Once again the slider does the job for the offie. Kayes plays down the wrong line and he tries to work it into the on-side, it rushed onto him and hit him on the kneeroll and the impact was right in front of middle stump. The umpire checks for the front foot no-ball, but Duminy was well behind the line. Kayes didn't want to challenge the decision as he knew that it was pretty adjacent. Kayes lbw b Duminy 30(93) [4s-3]

31.4 - Duminy to Mominul, out Caught by Dane Vilas!! The ploy to introduce Duminy into the attack has worked. Nothing but a slider outside off stump, Mominul tries to be cheeky and goes for the late dab down to third man, but the ball bounces a bit extra and takes the edge, the keeper does well to hold on. End of a fine 69-run stand. That is the first catch for Dane Vilas in international cricket. Mominul c Dane Vilas b Duminy 40(87) [4s-6]

4.3 - Steyn to Tamim, out Caught by Amla!! 400th Test wicket for Steyn! He's mobbed by his teammates, just the second South African bowler (after Pollock) to achieve and the quickest pacer (along with Hadlee) as well. This was pitched up by Steyn, full and wide as well, looking to tempt Tamim into the drive, he can't resist and throws his bat at that, the thick edge flies towards first slip where Amla makes no mistake. Tamim doesn't make the most of his reprieve in the last over, Steyn hasn't been denied. Tamim c Amla b Steyn 6(15) [4s-1]

57.0 - Duminy to Rahim, 1 run, Rahim has essayed a well-measured fifty. It is his 15th Test fifty. He has had his troubles against some fine bowling by Steyn and Morkel and also Harmer troubled him with turn. However, Rahim has played with a calm head on shoulders to weather the storm and compile a fifty. Coming back to the ball, he turns this tossed up delivery to sweeper cover for a single

52.5 - M Morkel to Rahim, no run, loud shout for LBW, this was full and tailed back sharply into Rahim, he was looking to flick and fell over as he completed the shot. The bat hit the pads, that was the second noise. The impact was in front of middle and leg and it was easily going down leg. Umpire Reiffel gets it right, big cheers from the Mirpur crowd

42.4 - Steyn to Mahmudullah, no run, there was a big sound as the ball passed the bat, obviously umpire Paul Reiffel didn't hear it and as soon as Steyn appealed, he put the finger up in a flash. Mahmudullah was quick to send it upstairs as he was so sure that he got bat on that. Once again Steyn gets the ball to reverse back in nicely into the right-hander, Mahmudullah fails to defend properly and luckily for him, the ball took the edge before hitting him in line with middle stump. The edge saved Mahmudullah there, otherwise, it was plumb in front
